"The hotel's location is excellent, close to the subway, with a mall, supermarket, and convenience stores nearby. However, the soundproofing is terrible. Every night past 10 PM, the street noise is constant until morning; there's almost no sound insulation at all. If there's a protest with loud music and shouting, you simply won't be able to sleep. Plus, there are often protesters gathering right outside the hotel entrance. Those looking for peace and quiet should definitely avoid staying here during such times."

"I checked in for a work stay for one night with breakfast in the morning. My room was clean however there was a large damp mark on the ceiling above the bed. In the middle of the night at 12:50 there was an alarm that sounded and scared the life out of me when I was sleeping, the only way I can describe it was like an air aid alarm the traffic of the road was very loud too. After being not well rested I went down to breakfast in the morning to be challenged and told that I hadn't paid for breakfast even though my email confirmation stated I had. Overall I would not recommend this hotel"

"The experience was great until the electricity when off an hour after I used the oven/microwave in the evening - almost had dinner in the dark with my husband. Luckily, the Guest Service helped me quickly via WhatsApp. Another missing item was toilet tissue. I was only provided with one roll for 4 days stay. It forced me to purchase tissue with my own money."

The hotel itself was very clean, our beds were really comfy, staff were helpful and the car park was right next door. The breakfast was good - cooked options or yoghurt/fruit/cereal and plenty of drinks with the option to take them away if you were in a rush. All in all we couldn't fault it for the price!"

"Walking into the hotel there was a musky smell at reception and that was first thing that put me off. It was either musky or badly chosen cheap air freshener My friends room was not reasy and had not been made up , bed looked slept in. Had to return to reception for a 2nd room but really not apologised enough. Shower - v v poor , barely a trickle of water and just looked like it needed de scaling. Great that iron and board in room but iron was pretty useless and didnt heat up enough to be effective. We ate in the stables pub. Food and wine was passable but only just. Was not worth leaving a comment as I was made to feel bad just because I said the wine didnt taste right. Tired looking furniture. Bed was nice though and room was clean. Tv had good channels. Overall passable for money we paid but place needs some investment and doesnt llook cared for. Would not return sadly."

"It's a very old century-old store. The rooms are very traditional in European style. You feel like you've traveled through history when you stay there. The restaurant is not self-service, but there are suites to choose from. There are also service staff who can speak Chinese. The road is being built in front of the door and parking is not available. Convenient and worth a try."

"Television didn’t work . The staff did offer to help but we didn’t use it after first night anyway . Shower floor was very old and quite disgusting had to buy a bath mat , shower pressure almost non existent took 4 times normal to get washed and cleaned. No parking and must pay between £14-20 a day to park , the entire street to the hotel was shut for roadworks that continued through the night with no break , was very noisy so barely slept . All in all I would not recommend couples staying here if they wish to have a nice peaceful stay"
