I’ve never written a bad hotel review ever in my life, but unfortunately, here it goes. It’s a shame since other past reviews are very positive, but I need to be frank and honest about my experience and will be diving the ratings according to subcategories so that it is fair, since some aspects of the stay were great and some not so much. Check in process: 2 stars This is not the ‘typical’ hotel entrance where the lobby is on the ground floor. The floor in which you enter is 1/f. The floor of the hotel is 4/f, but this is clearly stated as a signage at the entrance (see photo attached). Upon arrival, I went towards the hotel entrance . There, I stood in front of an operating system, where guests would need to enter the hotel using a key fob. Of course, I wouldn’t have this key fob at hand at check in. There are no clear instructions in any language above the operator stating how you should call the receptionist using the operator to open the door for you (refer to attached photo). Thankfully, a passerby was kind enough to help me call the receptionist and asked her to open the door for me. It is also better to have mobile data at hand so you can communicate with the staff via whatsapp text/call if you cannot enter, since I think this is the faster means of communicating with guests. When I checked in, I explained my confusion to entering the building. I told the receptionist lady that I couldn’t enter since there are no instructions in any language above the operator. She then had the audacity to tell me that there ARE indeed instructions above the operator im English, and I should have followed it. Again, the photo I attached shows no such instructions, so I do not comprehend what she is talking about at all. Upon departure, I voiced out these issues, and the more reasonable receptionists said that they usually send these check in details via email, though I had not received such email(s). Noise level and disturbance: 2 stars My room had really thin walls and you can easily hear people passing through in the hallway. I got to a room with a balcony and up until 2 am, I still continuously heard 2 women talking loudly non-stop in the room next to me. To attempt to put a halt to this, I called the receptionist using the calling button thrice in my room, since the initial receptionist lady who checked me in said they provided 24 hour service, and to my dismay, no one bothered answering me. I had to personally take matters into my own hands and asked them to keep it down. Room and amenities: 5 stars In terms of amenities provided within the room and how it was renovated and all, it deserves 5 stars. It was clean and the amenities provided were plentiful for a short stay.

Отличный новый отель в центре города. Везде можно дойти пешком. Небольшие номера, но комфортные. Удобная кровать, подушки. Отличный спа, сауна, оборудованный спортзал. Приятный сервис. У меня был день рождения, отель поздравил вкусным десертом. Приятно. На все просьбы реагировали очень быстро. Однозначно вернемся сюда вновь.

Best hotel we stayed in the caucasus! Room size was big. Loved the professional service from the front desk, very clean rooms, amazing breakfast and after 2 days of having breakfast in the hotel, the very attentive staff at the breakfast area even rem my surname! That was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed every moment here and was sad to leave. Will definitely recommend everyone to stay!!!

Отличное место , чисто , комфортно, приятный и услужливый персонал! Вкусная кухня. Рекомендую!

Şehrin ana meydanına 500 metre mesafede, makul fiyatlı, lezzetli ve taze kahvaltılar sunan harika bir otel (bu otel hakkında kötü yorum yazanların ne yediğini bilmiyorum, muhtemelen istiridye ve siyah havyar). Tek olumsuz yanı kahvenin gerçek kahve olmaması, ancak hazır kahve için oldukça iyi. Oda geniş (pencereler Ermenistan Hükümet binasına bakıyor) ve temizlik günlük olarak yapılıyor ve tüm istekler hemen karşılandı. Çıkış saati 12:00 olmasına rağmen, uçuşumuz geciktiği için ekstra ücret ödemeden 13:00'e kadar odada kalmamıza izin verildi.

Отель по соотношению цена- качество оптимален. Близко от аэропорта. Рядом парк и магазины. В номере чайник тапочки. Окно открывается. Минус - нет лифта , но мне это не критично. Тем более багаж помогли доставить. Около отеля есть качели для взрослых очень удобно.

Очень понравился отель. Гостеприимный и отзывчивый персонал, чистый большой номер. Все принадлежности были: тапочки, шампунь, гель, мыло. Чайник, вода, чай/кофе. Расположение - идеальное! От аэропорта 25 минут. Пять минут большой супермаркет с обменным пунктом. Центр, Каскад - все в пешей доступности. Завтрак европейский (яичница, гречка с овощами, блинчики, сосиски), вкусно. Мы довольны )) Спасибо!

Little bit out of the way and some of the streets around it aren’t good but it is near Embassy’s so can’t be too bad. Straight walk down road to Victory Park. Room spacious and clean. No complaints with it. Happy I stayed there given the price. I was solo male traveller

I choose Alex Hotel to spend half-night and morning between flights. That was good choice because taxi delivered me to the hotel in about ten minutes ( it is a few kilometers before e the city), the hotel was easy to find, and I was met and checked in at 3 in the night. The place is quiet and the room was clean. Hot water in the bathroom. I would recommend a curtain for the shower, because it was impossible to take a shower, water splashing over the entire bathroom, literally. The breakfast included rice with chick peas, smth like vegetarian shawarma,  salad of cabbage and carrot, two kinds of cookies, tea, and coffee.   A cost of 3000 drams is a little bit too much, in my opinion. However, in the whole, the hotel is good for overnight between flights.

Hotel is good but basic. Good breakfast, 10 min walk from republic square and close to the parliament building
