"We stayed at Wanda Yue Resort from 23–25 December and overall had a very pleasant experience. There was a slight unhappiness during check-in with one particular staff, but the manage, Kevin Liu stepped in promptly, handled the situation professionally, and ensured proper service recovery. As a thoughtful gesture, high tea was sent to our room, which we truly appreciated. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What stood out most was the warmth and helpfulness of the staff throughout our stay — everyone we interacted with was friendly and genuinely attentive. Despite the small hiccup at the start, the way it was handled made a positive impression. We would definitely highly recommend Wanda Yue Resort and would be happy to stay here again."

"Good budget hotel in Wanda Changbaishan. The rooms are a little bit old and could use a renovation. But in general the rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is well located at the station of the chairlift. The other amenities like hotspring, supermarket, waterpark and town center are about 2km far away. The breakfast offers a good choice and is delicious.  The set including hotel, skiing, hot spring and water park is very recommendable."

"Not worth the money for solo traveller. My friends paid 40% less of the price as compared to me and still gotten dining coupons. They booked 1 week earlier only. They are a couple and paid less. The ski coupon is very confusing to use at the outset and it was not communicated to me beforehand how i was going to rent the equipment contributing to anxiety. Technically, they should offer me 2x the ski coupons but it seemed to be system generated so there was nothing that made me special about it. The staff seem to outsource everything to the app. Everything is on WeChat; so if you find it hard to use, good luck. The breakfast looked good but tasted nothing extraordinary. In my opinion, look good but tasted normal. The service level is good, but not special. I would skip this place in the future."

He masterfully explained our extensive 6-night package—daily skiing, hot springs, water park access, and shuttle service—making it all instantly clear. The Heart of Hospitality: Personal Intervention What sets Xiao Xie apart was his proactive help when small obstacles arose. He didn't just give directions; he provided solutions: 1. WeChat Pay Hiccup: When we couldn't access a convenient unmanned shop due to a mobile payment issue, Xiao Xie didn't hesitate. He stepped in and paid for our items first, trusting us to settle it later. This act of personal trust and immediate problem-solving was astounding. 2. Power Bank Rescue: Realizing we needed a portable charger, he seamlessly assisted with the rental process, ensuring we stayed connected. 3. "Pullman is a picturesque hotel with beautiful landscape, trees covered in powdery snow look like marshmallow, deers roaming around 😍 Thank you for the lovely service, helping us with the activities arrangement & airport shuttle. "環境：説實話，要不是因為機票延誤，我都訂不到這麼好的酒店真的進來有被驚艷到，而且整體的服務環境菜品物做都非常不錯，我們自己平時情侶出遊對於要求還是比較偏高的，他們雖然是民俗 但是我覺得完全不亞於五星級酒店 狠狠碼住 以後來長白山他們就是我的第一選擇"

"What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back."

"太有氛圍感的客棧啦，前台接待處就已經很 nice 了，非常有西歐風，客房也特別有氛圍感。管家姐姐提前加了微信，給出了好多建議和攻略。從客棧衹要走十幾分鍾就能到遊客中心，特別方便。 她家還可以做手工 抄經 溯溪和挖人蔘，簡直是滿滿的體驗感🤩 還有個驚喜是房間給升級啦，還附帶了早餐，愛死前台小姐姐了😍"
