Checking in late at night, 刘基扬, 王国琪, 刘畅, 金学哲, and 段冰宇 went above and beyond, insisting on carrying our luggage and escorting us to our room. The responsiveness via WeChat at all hours was impressive. Any issues we raised, with these 5 staffs that we encountered were promptly addressed, and resolutions were provided without delay. The breakfast offerings were comprehensive, featuring both Western and Chinese cuisine; however, it would be helpful to have forks, spoons, and water readily available. Despite the demagnetization issue with the key card, the staff, especially 刘基扬 and 王国琪, responded instantly to our messages and ensured a swift resolution. Xiao Xie, on his night shift, welcomed us with calm efficiency. He masterfully explained our extensive 6-night package—daily skiing, hot springs, water park access, and shuttle service—making it all instantly clear. The Heart of Hospitality: Personal Intervention What sets Xiao Xie apart was his proactive help when small obstacles arose. He didn't just give directions; he provided solutions: 1. WeChat Pay Hiccup: When we couldn't access a convenient unmanned shop due to a mobile payment issue, Xiao Xie didn't hesitate. "Good budget hotel in Wanda Changbaishan. The rooms are a little bit old and could use a renovation. But in general the rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is well located at the station of the chairlift. The other amenities like hotspring, supermarket, waterpark and town center are about 2km far away. The breakfast offers a good choice and is delicious.  The set including hotel, skiing, hot spring and water park is very recommendable."

"I highly recommend this hotel.The room was big, hair dryer power was strong n made the hair dry up very fast. They also got laundry detergent for the guest to use too. Their customer service was very good especially for foreigners like us who did not have a Chinese local number. They will assign one person in charge for us. And if we want to play the activity, we just need to inform the PIC. He/she will send U the tickets/ QR code, if face any questions, can also drop message via WeChat. PIC will reply within the shortest time. Under the food district section, there are few nice restaurants. You can ask them to recommend their local food too. You can enjoy using clubmed onsen too. Advice to go earlier if you wish to shower and use their hair dryer. I would like to compliment our PIC '晚風'. His service is very good. Response to use very quick and he did something that touches our heart. Something happened inside our room and the technician guy had resolved.. We just gave feedback to him and although he is on his off day, he still gets his team to prepare something for us as a compensation. We did not expect this. This really shows he still cares and puts customers in first place even when he is on leave. 👍 For our PIC, '晚風'."

"房間寬敞，設施齊全，衞生間乾濕分離，酒店門口有很大的停車場，總枱彭仙君，在入住前就電話聯繫，需求，入住時熱情介紹住客可以享受的權益，安排贈送的晚餐的就餐時間和對菜品口味的需求，知道我要喝茶又主動安排增加瓶裝水。晚上因電網施工有短暫停電，她也提前通知，以防不必要的恐慌。早上離店時又贈送了伴手禮，她的認真熱情的工作為酒店漲分不少。酒店位於新城政務中心，商業設施暫時欠缺，贈送正餐是非常有誠意的。早餐中西合璧，品種較多。"

"When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator. 我一大早到达这家酒店时，其实心里有些疑惑，感觉周围的商店和其他酒店好像都没营业。这可能不仅是因为现在不是旅游旺季，经济不景气也可能是一个原因。 由于我到酒店太早，房间还没整理好，所以我先将行李寄存在酒店，然后出发去长白山西坡景区游览。 回来时，我的行李已经放在分配好的房间里了。 房间干净得无可挑剔。早上醒来拉开窗帘，明媚的阳光照进房间，心情格外舒畅。 下楼到大厅吃早餐时，酒店老板亲自为我摆桌，食物非常整洁美味。 而且，老板的英语比其它任何酒店的员工都好，这给了我很大帮助。 这是一家干净、舒适、温馨的酒店。 唯一的缺点是没有电梯，但提着行李只上一层楼对大多数人来说应该不是问题。考虑到酒店正对着长白山西坡旅游中心，其优越的地理位置完全足以弥补没有电梯的不便。"

"Overall, our stay was excellent. We experienced a minor issue at the beginning due to a language barrier. The package stated that free ski access was included daily, but we were initially informed it was only valid once. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved, and we received exactly what was published: free ski access throughout our 3-night stay, daily breakfast and dinner, and one rafting experience which was fantastic value. What truly stood out was the level of assistance from the staff (Emily, Sunny and Ada). As someone who relies heavily on Google Translate to communicate in Mandarin, I really appreciated how patient, helpful, and supportive they were throughout our stay. They assisted us every step of the way. Highly recommended."
