"We booked the place following Instagram reel saying kids friendly, I would say it was okay but didn’t meet our expectations (as we regularly stay the residence and I paid 30＞ higher price here compared to to residence since we wanted to try something near ferry terminal and was highly rated on IG for kids. We booked 3 nights, 2 adults one 2 years baby. Experience Good: - kids club play room big and nice, offering indoor, outdoor and splash zone free - free dine in for kids with food that kids will actually eat - got 2 pools, adult and family (with child pool). Pool size is good - they printed the ferry ticket in advance so we didn’t have to queue while going back Bad: - rooms are not so kids friendly, small shower area, too many pillows every where - king size bed is actually doesn’t feel king size but rather queen size - we walk in to restaurant for dinner 2nd night got denied cause they had bbq event running, and never suggested to book in advance (they offered slot 8 pm for 6:20 walk in) with small kid along, I am not sure they understand kid doesn’t wait fr 8 pm and the didn’t even bother to offer kids meal to at least address the kid. We ended up eating on the side fries and in room dining which takes about 45 min to 1 hour - safari we were told 9 am but then actual time was 10 am pick so we ended up waiting 1 hour at the lobby - not sure if they understand kid doesn’t like to sit for 1 hour not doing anything and we rushed our breakfast for the timing - free juices for kids and breakfast buffet is not fresh juice unless you paid then got fresh juice - breakfast buffet ok ok, no teh tarik 😝 - breakfast very limited options for vegetarian - the shuttle dropped us at the emerald class lounge where we were economh means we had to walk with baby and luggage all the way - you can only access dining area of indigo subject to you book in advance - for beach you need buggy to go not you can just walk as and when you want I would say, okay but not something I like, but it’s nearer to ferry"

"The stay during my visit there is clean, with nice scenery and the staff are always very prompt in replying your queries/messages and they are always very welcoming to greet you whenever they see you around. Some staff took extra initiative to remember which room guest you are from. They will update you daily via WhatsApp in the weather conditions and activities available for the day during your stay there. It monsoon season now and water activities are on hold sooo we are unlucky not being able to play the water sports. So if you are coming, do plan it wisely. But the down point during our stay is, if you want to go out of the hotel premise to tourist attractions or even explore local neighbourhood or to local mart. It would be definitely out of question unless you are engaging a vehicle with driver cum guide that can bring you around. Since Grab service is not available in that area as it is out of city area and about an hour journey drive from ferry terminal to the hotel. And not to say if engaging a driver with car it is by 3-4 or more hours rates. Which can be quite pricey. If couple is traveling only. Hotel food alone is already very costly. One meal can simply cost $50-$60. Bintan is still not a very well developed place, I personally felt that they shouldn’t charge so much, but well it’s a 5 star hotel so can’t be blamed too. But overall, it was a great experience with The Residence Bintan."

"Location is good cos it’s nearby the beach, warung yeah, mini mart. But service, food and cleanliness can be improved. Food was honestly so-so. Service can also be improved. Booked a pool view room with cabana/terrace, and was told that the room I booked for 4 nights was unavailable because it’s fully booked so they offered me a dinner. I had to ask for my other 3 nights to be transferred to an available pool view room with cabana/terrace. Shouldn’t that be a given since I paid for it? I was supposed to be transferred to another room and a housekeeping staff said that our room was ready. After packing up and heading down to the reception, I was told that the room is not ready and I have to wait 1-2hrs more. Finally, I was given another room. It’s ocean view, not even pool view. The pool view was necessary so we could keep an eye on the kids. Kids club was also NOT properly equipped - little toys, cheap quality - so we don’t see the point of having one in the first place. Price point is good, but for the so-so food and service I won’t be coming back here. Anmon and Holiday Inn is far better."

"Great long weekend stay! Beautiful resort, in particular the beach and pool area. Gardens are well maintained. Very spacious. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Several food options for lunch and dinner. Some areas are a little dated but still adequate. Service is very good, staff is super friendly and goes out of their way for their guests. Overall a good value option for visiting Lagoi Bay!"

"As a group of four friends, this trip was all about relaxation and taking a quick break from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. It was the perfect getaway to unwind and just chill. We spent most of our time inside the villa, especially since we had our own private pool, which we absolutely adored. The vibe was amazing, and we loved how we could enjoy our own little party space. The facilities and amenities are beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, there are a few areas that could use some maintenance. The shower head was loosely hanging, the toilet tissue holder needs tightening, and the curtains had noticeable black stains. A little upkeep would definitely enhance the overall experience. Service-wise, the staff were very hospitable and always ready to assist. The WhatsApp service was also a big help since there are no in-room telephones, it made communicating our requests much easier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a fun and relaxing two-night getaway, and we appreciated having a cozy and private space to spend time together"

"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach! From the moment we were picked up by the complimentary transport from the ferry terminal to the resort to the check in process, the staff was friendly and all smiles and all went smoothly. We love the mix of industrial and wooden aesthetics in the room. The food was delicious and we enjoyed relaxing at the 2 pools in the resort as well that overlooked the beach. Overall, we had a great rest at this wonderful resort and we look forward to coming back again!"

"After watching the rennovation from the golfcourse a few times, now we had the opportunity to stay at the new Movenpick resort Bintan in their soft-launch period. Although they still need to do some work, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in combination with the golfcourse. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good, we tried the local food. Probably they will increase the number of dishes when fully opened. Breakfast very good: mix of buffet and a la cart. Local and international. Fresh juices. Little problems , part of opening a new hotel,  were tackled immediately.  Overall a great golf / relax experience. We will come back soon. Also need to try the Japanese restaurant."

"Pros: Great location which just 5 min from Sebong terminal and hotel provided complimentary shuttle service to hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. All the queries and request was contact through WhatsApp which is convenient and responsive (maybe not the peak season). We have a lot of fun at Treasure Bay and some free activities provided. We enjoyed 20% discount on the activities as the guest of Anmon. The pool is sea salt water and it is pretty clean as well. The room is pretty interesting and it is a great experience to stay inside a tent! Cons: There is moldy smell in the room. Because it is a tent, hence soundproof is poor as we can hear the music from hotel lobby (but it does not affect our sleep LoL we still had a good slept). Should clean up the sky window in the room."

"Service was great, they sent a buggy to send us to our block as it was a bit further away from the reception. Staff were all very friendly, always greeted us when we walk past each other. Nice view too!"

"Absolutely incredible hotel experience! Stunning room with balcony overlooking the Singapore Strait. Several activities you can do, from eco golf to fishing and a movie night projected on to the side of the ship. The tour was excellent and all of the staff were great. I hired a motorbike through reception so I could explore the island - all organised very well, although 3x more expensive than say Thailand, Vietnam etc. The restaurant has a limited menu unless you are happy with local, mainly seafood dishes with a couple of western options and pizza. The drinks are expensive already, then they add 21% service and tax, again, significantly higher than what you would pay in similar SE Asian countries but I heard typical for Bintan. Buy your drinks from the convenience store in the ferry terminal - 4x cheaper than the hotel bar restaurant. They did say however that their profits are given to charity. Overall, I had an incredible stay here, excellent value, excellent location if you want to chill or explore the island (not suitable for walking) or just relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended, will 100% return and no need to look at any other hotel on Bintan!"
