"After watching the rennovation from the golfcourse a few times, now we had the opportunity to stay at the new Movenpick resort Bintan in their soft-launch period.
Although they still need to do some work, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in combination with the golfcourse.
The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good, we tried the local food.
Probably they will increase the number of dishes when fully opened.
Breakfast very good: mix of buffet and a la cart. Local and international. Fresh juices.
Little problems , part of opening a new hotel, were tackled immediately.
Overall a great golf / relax experience.
We will come back soon. Also need to try the Japanese restaurant."

"Was here for a company retreat. Location is really far from anything else, but I kinda like it this way. Its a double storey room, with a living area and a private pool on the first floor and the bedroom on the second. Bathroom area is huge, there is some smell at the shower area, think its the drainage issue, and the sick is a lottle rusty. But the wonderful and friendly staff of the resort make all these small imperfection, perfect! Good job to the team! Oh, i was surprise by the breakfast spread 😃 quite a good spread of local and western choices that i kinda overeat 🤣. And credit to the chef too! I had lunch and dinner at Azura, food taste good! Recommend for family and friends gatherings."

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

FFarahB.The most perfect and peaceful place to go when you need a break from the hustle & bustle. It was truly an amazing 3D2N stay with the friendly staff, and the amenities available. We had no intentions of exploring Bintan during this trip as it was purely meant for relaxation, and Sadi Beach Hotel did not disappoint. The food available was also sufficiently good, there’s really nothing to fault.
Thank you Sadi Beach team for making our stay amazing. Will definitely come back with the entire family 😊

We can recommend it to anyone who likes to spend some time in pure nature and enjoy very nice staff. The staff went on the extra mile when we could early check in, when someone went to stock beers in the pouring rain, when we got breakfast boxes at 6am. We also liked the pool and the various activities on the ground, like archery. We want to come back again! Thank you for everything.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe booked 4 rainforest sea view villas from Singapore. The rooms are in the traditional Balinese villa resort style. They are spacious, beautiful, clean, and equipped with complete toiletries. There are also two pairs of Japanese slippers for showering or going to the beach, and two pairs of cloth shoes for wearing in the room. The hygiene is good, and they clean twice a day. There are three-hole British sockets on both sides of the long table in the room, and there is no need for Indonesian plugs at all, which is very convenient to use. The balcony also has a large jacuzzi.The room is very quiet, and you can hear birds singing in the early morning. All the staff can speak English, and they are all very kind and polite, and their service attitude are also great. The breakfast is also good, and there are many food choices. Whether you go to eat or go back to the room, you can call the hotel's free buggy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
We will continue to stay in the same BanyanTree when I come to Bintan Island again.

AArielle LiuI love the resort, the staffs, the breakfast and everything. We actually booked with other family friends for SG National Day getaway, but our kids were sick so we had to cancel our trip. We are glad that we booked again and our entire stay was marvellous, definitely recommend staying there. The tent rooms are spacious and the outdoor shower room was a whole new experience for us(It was really fun for my kids). The resort pool was super photogenic, we took quite some pictures there. I have to say a big thank you to the breakfast team, Ms Nazwan, Ms Naiya, Nelu and Ms Devi!!! They were amazing at entertaining kids especially Ms Devi and team surprised my toddler with a birthday cake(that’s why we had this impromptu trip to Bintan). Another thank you for Mr Ham who’s in charge of the kids entertainment. My elder girl had the chance to play (sry I forgot the instrument name) the music instrument, and Mr Ham was patiently guiding my girl how to play, she nailed it on the spot. (Proud mama🤭) after talking to Mr Ham, I’m very impressed with his thoughts to extend the kids entertainment activities in the resort, so that parents can get off ours hands for some personal relaxed time. Kudos to the staffs in Natra Bintan resort. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Mm&m&mThe villa (especially the bathroom!!) was clean and above our expectation! Everything was working fine, and we were very well covered throughout the trip! We communicated with the very friendly and helpful staff through their WhatsApp to request for buggy ride, extra towel, housekeeping, whatever you want, and they responded very fast.
Legenda Cafe provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had our breakfast there, and for weekdays breakfast, they do semi buffet where there is a small spread of food, and you can also order dishes from the menu. On weekends, they do full buffet breakfast. Food is good, mostly local food which is awesome.
We did not see any minimarts within the resort, but the resort does provide transport to travel around Bintan. For instance, RP100k for two-way transport to Lagoi Bay.
Private beach is only a few steps away from the cafe, and also walkable from our villa. Sand is super clean and very well maintained!
Just note that since we are in nature, there are bound to be bugs / insects, so bring mosquito patches / sprays.
We will definitely come back here again next time with family!!

MMisafir KullanıcıIt was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

LLezleyAs a group of four friends, this trip was all about relaxation and taking a quick break from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. It was the perfect getaway to unwind and just chill. We spent most of our time inside the villa, especially since we had our own private pool, which we absolutely adored. The vibe was amazing, and we loved how we could enjoy our own little party space.
The facilities and amenities are beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, there are a few areas that could use some maintenance. The shower head was loosely hanging, the toilet tissue holder needs tightening, and the curtains had noticeable black stains. A little upkeep would definitely enhance the overall experience.
Service-wise, the staff were very hospitable and always ready to assist. The WhatsApp service was also a big help since there are no in-room telephones, it made communicating our requests much easier.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a fun and relaxing two-night getaway, and we appreciated having a cozy and private space to spend time together

MMayer ChanCheck in was quick and easy. Rooms were already blasting cold temperature at 16C with a card inserted into the system. Much appreciated due to the super hot weather.
Pool was small. More for soaking chilling than swimming.
Gym was small. Enclosed with glass with the top open-air so it can be very hot and humid. Treadmill was pitiful. It is more of a home-based type treadmill than one that is usually found in hotels.
My group of 14 adults decided to have dinner at the cafe/ restaurant. The menu is limited but sufficient for us to try the local food. Unfortunately, the food was very slow and came in bits and pieces ie 1 dish came out after 10-15min of waiting. Imagine 14 adults ordering multiple dishes + drinks? We must have ordered 30+ dishes, not including drinks. It was only at the last 20min of our dinner that many dishes came out of the kitchen at the same time. The staff was definitely not prepared to handle such orders in the evenings. Some of the dishes like satay was cold. Some dishes were also missed out. Truly disappointing.
The wait staff were nice and patient.
Breakfast was much better. Many dishes and choices.
This hotel seems to be a popular choice with Chinese nationals. The whole hotel was swarmed with them during breakfast.

MMisafir KullanıcıExcellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.
