"This is by far the best hotel as it’s new and just on top of JR station. It’s a wellness Center n spa, so it gives off a different vibe compared to other hotels. They have nice art collection along corridors at the spa level and it makes the place very classy and elegant. The onsen at level 6 is also very good n clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and we look forward every evening for the onsen soak."

"Room is clean and spacious. There is free water dispenser every floor, you can try Aomori apple juice at the hotel. I love the idea that you can choose the cleaning or not cleaning on the television. You can also see the status of the laundry on the television. The location is abit far from Aomori station but I think it’s okay. There is a direct bus from Aomori airport to the hotel. There is a convenience store nearby."

"March 26th 2025 - Japan had Gale wind advisory which means the wind gusts were strong enough to cause JR and other rail services to be impeded by delays. Unfortunately this delay caused us 8-10 hours of our time. We had no option but to stay the night in Aomori as past midnight there are no public transportation services other than taxi. From Shin Aomori to this hotel it cost us just around 1000 yen which was well worth it - considering it was cold and windy. The Hotel is located about 5-8 minute walk away from 7/11 and a Lawson, maybe 10-12 minutes from the Family Mart. This is a Port city so it is unique in a way I cannot describe. Its quiet, yet there are karaoke bars and regular bars open well past 2AM - this is different than most cities in Japan. The taxi service here is strong; we used Go Taxi. Uber eats is possible here as well as we ordered around 12:30 am and got our food within an hour from order time - everything made fresh and the restaurant was slightly further than found in bigger cities. The hotel’s amenities were outstanding- all sorts of skin care, the standard Japan amenities (comb, toothbrush, razor, head band for when you wash your face, cotton swabs, you name it they had it. Well i mean to convey the fact that even higher end hotels dont carry nearly as much. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient. Used Papago to translate and communicate and there was no issue. Last minute booking 70$ and I was impressed considering ive stayed in hotels triple the price with less room, poor cleanliness, and overall disappointment. Not this hotel, extremely great and happy my fate led me to this hotel."

"Just 5-7 mins walk from JR AOMORI STATION, Staffs are very friendly. The 1st Fl. is LAWSON. I love there are Power Plug in the head of Bed."

"Plenty of food around the hotel, there is a convenient store just on the ground floor of the hotel Smooth checkin. Full amenities provided with free helping at the checkin counter. Staff were pleasant and helpful to bring our luggages to the taxi. All within walking distance to Aomori station, A factory , Nebuta museum, Aspam. Great relaxing hotel."

"Good location with lots of buses, there is an ATM in the convenience store next door which is useful. The building is very old and the furnishings could definitely be replaced. There is no air conditioning, the hotel sets the temperature and you choose how much to open the vent. Unfortunately the seal on the window in my room was broken so I was very cold and there was a lot of road noise. The bed was comfortable but the lights in my room would flicker and overall I think the appliances need to be replaced. I appreciated the curry and rice but even the doors don’t automatically lock and I was a bit scared as I was a woman staying alone. It’s okay for the price but I think if they replaced the furnishings it would look a lot better."

"I really like this hotel ！The staff there are enthusiastic and nice! I lost my card and they told me it’s ok, I really appreciate that. The onsen is also amazing , I could admire the snow and enjoy. And after that, I could have ice cream. The chocolate one tasted good! The only downside is that the pillow is a little high to me. I hope I can have chance to stay there for several nights!"

"Less than 5 mins walk to and from JR Shin-Aomori Station (East exit) which also houses the Aomori Tourist Information Centre. I chose to stay near this JR Shin-Aomori station instead of JR Aomori station as the shinkansen doesn’t go to JR Aomori station. I need to take the shinkansen early in the morning on the following day to go to Akita and then transfer to the Akita shinkansen to head to my next accommodation in Tazawako. From JR Shin-Aomori station, it’s convenient to take limited express trains direct to Hirosaki station to visit Hirosaki Castle and Park. It’s also a short journey to JR Aomori station which is where the city centre of Aomori is located. Other than the F&B shops within Shin-Aomori station which close very early around 8pm if I recall correctly, there aren’t any F&B shops around the hotel. Both Family Mart and Lawsons convenience stores are located a few mins walk from the South exit of the train station which is located on the other end of the station."

"We stayed at Asamushi Onsen (about 20mins drive from Aomori downtown) as part of our 2025 Spring trip to Aomori area, and booked Tstsumikan Onsen hotel to stay for the night. The hotel location is great. I think all guest rooms come with open ocean view. No private hot spring tub in the guest room but the large gender-specific hot spring pools are open privately to the overnight stay guests from 8PM to the next morning. The stay comes with 2 meals. The food is good and the dinner was served directly in the guest room. The next morning Japanese breakfast was served in the great tatami dinning room, and the breakfast package even comes with free coffee in the gift shop café after the meal. The staff are warm, and the service is good. My recommendation to this hotel come with no hesitation."
