Hotel looks new, but when you look closely, a lot of places are moldy, especially near the Onsen bath. When I entered my room after check in, I found a used razor in the bath area, cleaning service is poor. There is also no power socket near the bed. Plenty of tea choices in the lounge on the 2/F.

From the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

The hotel is a few minutes away from the JR Chitose station. There is a 7- Eleven nearby. It is also walkable to AEON. The room is spacious. Definitely my fav hotel. Only 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport.

super convenient, is it good to rent the times car and stay this hotel, in the morning return back the car to the times car rental shop as the shop is just located behind this minh chitose. very near. and times car rental provide free shuttle bus to airport very convenient also this hotel is superrrrr big and clean and near to the shopping mall Aeon. Go to the Aeon mall to buy souvenir is superrrrrr cheap. perfect accommodation

It’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in. The reception staff is very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I will come back to stay here again when I have a chance.

My Stay at a Hot Spring Hotel in Lake Shikotsu Marukoma Onsen Ryokan is truly a hidden hot spring hotel that few people know about. It's a rare outdoor hot spring hotel in Hokkaido, directly facing the unfrozen Lake Shikotsu. The scenery is incredibly beautiful! However the transportation is terrible 😞😞😞. It's close to New Chitose Airport, and is too far away from the city. There are only 3-4 public buses per day and it took hours to get there. 🥹🥹😭😭😭 But if you're driving on a self-drive trip, then forget it. The hotel occupies a large area by the lake, and there are no restaurants around since its secluded location 🥹🥹. If you don't book meals in advance, you can only buy instant food from the hotel's convenience store. Fortunately, you may have a high chance of encountering deer. Anyway, the outdoor hot spring is free. In the morning, there are usually no people around, so you can take photos. Private Hot Springs: There are two private hot - spring pools, one indoor and one semi -enclosed facing the outside. But! You must book it during the daytime. It gets dark early in winter. If you booked it at 7 p.m. then you couldn't see anything. The breakfast is good.

Otel iyi bir konumdadır. Chitose JR İstasyonu'na yaklaşık 10 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir, caddeyi geçin ve cadde boyunca düz gidin. Chitose Havaalanı'na servis otobüsü rezervasyonu yaptırabilirsiniz. Rezervasyonlar bir gün önceden yapılmalıdır. Son otobüs 9:40'ta hareket eder. Oda çok büyük ve kompakt değil ama ihtiyaçları karşılıyor. Resepsiyondaki personelin tatlı bir gülümsemesi vardı. Ayrıca havaalanı servis otobüsü için randevu alabilmem için telefonla iletişim kurmamda bana yardımcı olan Ctrip platformunun müşteri hizmetlerine de teşekkür etmek istiyorum. Kısacası Wing tavsiye edilmeye değer.

Chitose airport hotel is very close to the JR station around 5 mins walk. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. They can speak English as well. Hotel is clean but old. The rooms are huge as compared to other hotels. Stayed in a triple room. There is also free shuttle bus to the airport in the morning only. There are many small restaurant around and also convenient stall opp the hotel. The bus stop is 2 mins away from the hotel from the airport (Bus 6) from domestic terminal.

服務很好，前台接待工作人員很熱情，我語言不通也非常熱情地服務了🥰還幫我們寄存了一天行李。 但是不知道為什麼房間有股異味，不是煙味，可能是之前的客人在換氣扇那裡晾衣服了，異味很大。 除此之外房間是很乾凈的，床很軟。 床的被子下面鋪了一個床單？還是什麼東西，掀開被子會跟被子一起掉出來，不知道具體作用是什麼😂衹睡了一晚，除了異味以外體驗不錯。
