"The hotel over looks the flowing river that runs through Gero while also looking at the mountains. Its a great location to easily walk into the town and explore the small shops and offerings there. If you have a chance, definitely recommend booking the room with a private onsen. Sitting in the onsen with the cool breeze from the mountains that came through the window was a great way to start and end the day I was there. The public baths are nice as well and lots of space. Getting around the hotel can be a little tricky sometimes if you don't read/speak japanese, but the staff is very friendly to help navigate the way. I opted in for the breakfast and dinner options and was stuffed. Very great quality and local offerings from the meals and did not even need lunch in between. Great for couples, families and solo travelers."

"Exceptional accommodation and service!
My husband and I purely enjoyed our time at Yunoshimakan. We had a room with private open air bath because of my tattoos (so public bath wasn’t an option), and it was 100% worth its price.
Kaiseki dinner was excellent, the buildings are adorable, we couldn’t wish a better service.
Before coming, I thought that more than 1 day at onsen is waste of time — and totally regret the hadn’t made a choice to stay for a longer time.
My advice: order a taxi or ask for a transfer if you carry a suitcase. I am really sorry for my husband who needed to carry our luggage 300m upstairs."

"This hotel is massive. Its comprises of 3 buildings and each building has its own public bath. And one of them has outdoor bath.
The room I booked has balcony but it was too chilly to sit outside.
Gym and swimming pool are also available but for ¥1,000 fee.
Dinner was not impressive but the hotel provided 2 different foods on each dinner during my 2-day stay. Breakfast spread was good but it is buffet style and it was busy and chaotic.
The best thing about this location it is very close to Gero station yet the hotel has pick ip and drop off service for every train schedules."

"説實話，是看完差評決定入住的。守規矩，不輕易被無理要求綁架的酒店，無疑會篩選掉無理取鬧的客人，入住環境肯定會舒心不少。先説缺點，離車站很近，噪音難免會有，習慣早睡或睡眠質量不佳的不推薦。再説優點，整體面積雖不大，但五臟俱全，公共浴室和温泉乾淨舒適，一泊二食的早晚餐口味也很不錯，飛驒牛肉和之前在高山吃的一樣奶香軟糯，單點的清酒不貴且口味清冽，還有想買紀念品的可以用店家給的優惠券在店裡商店購買，比外面要便宜，"

Our inn makes it a principle to provide all-natural hot spring water flowing straight from the source. We are a perfect inn to enjoy Gero's renowned hot spring.
"Good location and very near to station.
But the building is pretty old and the rooms are not that clean. The meals are decent but not that great.
The onsen pool is also quite old but open 24 hr."

朝食、夕食はバイキングで好きなものを好きなだけ食べられて満足です。

"Stayed there for two nights.
In-room onsen was good, staff at reception excellent. Food was simply terrible. Rice was cold (personally it’s simply unacceptable in any Japanese restaurant except for sushi may be?), the chef seems to enjoy making fusion dishes (and except that they were unappetising). To name but a few, we had strawberry mousse for starter, tofu (which was bitter) and pickles with miso for mains, and who’d put diced apple in an apple sorbet?? (Felt as though I was biting into ice cubes). The waitress was also extremely impatient and rushed us through our meals (we finished our dinners within 35 minutes, breakfasts 20).
I honestly cannot recommend this hotel. Sorry, but no."

The hotel has various baths such as cypress bath on the roof top with nice view and garden open-air bath. Meals are served by the best material in season of Hida. Dinner and breakfast will be served in room.
"Locate in center of Gero town. Near bus stop.
There is private onsen that can make reservation with 3,000 yen.
Anyway the ***** bath also available. It’s great view on public bath. Onsen in this town is clear water.
English speaking staff with Kimono also good.
Hotel also provide dinner in your room and breakfast at FL.2."

DDiantitaidou臨近清明假期臨時決定來日本，發現上海-名古屋票價便宜，就決定來下呂泡幾天温泉。航班準時行到達但過關處人山人海，13:50才趕到名鐵入口，買了14:14到名古屋站的特急，14:35下車出站後按指示馬上趕到JR入口，居然趕上14:48高山特快線到下呂，出站即乘門口taxi免費到酒店。總統套房就是房間多，應該是最近裝修的設施滿新。餐食不錯，第一天飛彈牛火鍋，第二天飛彈牛燒烤，當然還有小龍蝦、鮑魚……

MMisafir Kullanıcı렌트카를 빌려서 갔습니다. 없으면 좀 가기 어려운곳에 위치해있네요. 버스가 있는것같긴한데 차로 게로중앙에서도 20분정도 걸렸습니다.
노천온천도 있고 시설도 좋습니다. 1박을 묵었는데 석식과 조식 둘 다 맛있었습니다.
혼자 가기보다는 연인이나 친구들과 단체로가면 더 좋을듯합니다. 대연회장도 있던데 사용할일이 없어서 모르겠네요.

MMisafir Kullanıcıthe place is famous, for thailand theater shows,
foods in many varieties but cant say good. when we check in we are greet by a front desk clerk,with no smile, and tired face.and since i was a foreigner but good in japanese, communication did not go so well though he is not nice explaning everything. but the foreigners workin there is so nice. the ofuro is good but can say not what we expect. in the morning we check out staff were all good and smiling.

DDonovan_lIt was a comfortable, family-run Ryokan style inn. There is free parking for those who drive. It is also walking distance from the train station. We arrived after dark and the staff told us there was no more dinner, so they recommended us a dinner place nearby.
For breakfast which was included, it was a full set and really delicious Japanese platter. We ate to our heart’s content. The onsen is located on the basement and the 4th floor, I like it specially for the rooftop onsen. The men and women onsen will swap at certain timings to allow each gender to enjoy the facilities at the rooftop. They give clear instructions on a piece of paper, and you just need to look at the colour of the cloth hanging outside the onsen. The hotel is located near the town centre, so you can walk around easily.

Ssjf1986aaa和隔壁富岳是姐妹酒店，還沒走到門口酒店的老爺爺就過來確認是否是入住的，人員名字都對上了，走的時候也是，預約了穿梭巴士，很早老爺爺就在門口等着我們，我們出門逛還貼心的為我們準備地圖，老一輩日本人服務真的沒的説，早晚餐有專門的房間吃，味道還不錯，房間有私湯，打開窗户就是户外私湯嘿嘿，還有樓上樓下幾個湯池，老婆一天泡了三遍，把所有湯池都泡了，下呂不大，就適合慢慢的逛半天，吃一些小吃，回酒店品嚐美食，看看雪，泡泡湯

It is a matter of one's choice in spending more money for better choices or not, as the price range in Gero can be 100% difference for the best and those with much lower price. All onsen are old in the hardware facilities, but traditional.

MMalabarIt was my second hotel in Gero. Staff was very friendly and give me the room in accordance with my needs. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. Just one thing is necessary to take in mind, when you are planning to stay. There are some internal stairs and if you have some problems with legs, it can be difficult to go to some facilities. The onsen on the roof (open) was fantastic, but other one - on the 1 floor - a little bit difficult to catch.

JJin-chanAlthough the building itself seems to be old, but the room was quite spacious and decently clean. We had a relaxing stay at this hotel with their very comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the hotel is not in the Gero town center, and you need to travel by car or taxi. Nevertheless, the onsen bath was very good with alkaline onsen bath soothing the body after a tiring walk around Gero town. The buffet dinner was very good which includes all-you-can-eat crab legs.
