"Both left and right are surrounded by either pub or karaoke lounge. Not recommended if need a peaceful stay & good night sleep. However, it has good basement car parks to ensure safety parking. Hopefully the hotel will do better sound proof to all windows especially all superior rooms."

"We had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious. The food was great, and maybe for breakfast selection can add some ”kuih-muih” too. The view from the swimming pool is also nice, just that the edge of the pool, where the waters are draining down, need to be clean, seems like it's not being clean for ages...it was green ..
Overall, it is a good place to stay, and just next to the shopping mall."

MMisafir KullanıcıThe service was very unprofessional. I informed the staff several times that the key card could not open the door, but no action was taken. Later that night, when we returned, we were locked outside for more than 10 minutes while they investigated. Only then did they tell us the issue was due to a dead battery, and the door was finally fixed.
That said, the environment, cleanliness, and pricing were good, and we were satisfied with everything else except the service.
I believe this situation deserves some form of compensation or at least a proper gesture from the hotel. The staff mentioned that they would check with their manager, but we never received any follow-up or response.

Overall, it was a pleasant and satisfying experience — highly recommended for both business and leisure stays in Miri.

KKengwuWas there to attend a wedding reception which is walking distance from the hotel. Very nice and beautiful scenery of the golf courses surroundings. Have watched the sunset and sunrise during the day despite the weather. Breakfast served at Rooftop Cafe were excellent and importantly most of the staffs are friendly, helpful and always served with a smile. Even the security staffs and buggy drivers are friendly too. Great place for a quick getaway.

Disadvantages to consider :
1. Room had cockroach crept up on my son at the sofa the day we were leaving🤣
2. The toilets shld be tiled with anti slipping. Very slippery when wet.
3. Air conditioning temp looks centralised and can't be controlled.
4. Swimming pool / and its water is not that clean.

Nice rooms big windows. Good shower, sink & wc. Working fridge, internet tv, kettle.
Oddly, all the plug sockets - there are plenty - are on the TV side of the room. Lighting OK.
A plug socket blew up on me, though the hotel quickly restored the power. Maintenance of loose & badly wired plug sockets needed Room #506.
Staff good. Very nice hotel lobby with free copies of the day’s Borneo Post Bewspaper.

JJennifer YentyThe unit where we stayed is clean, have a breathtaking full view of the sea. Miss Nisa is very helpful to inform me the unit that we supposed to stay according to my booking have problem with their air-conditioning. So she change it to another unit. We really enjoy staying at Bay Resort. We can brisk walk and sight seeing. There's a lot of Chinese restaurants nearby too. Its a great experience to us as this is our first time coming and staying in Miri. This place is recommended to travellers with families who loved beaches and love to listen to the sound of the waves.

HHajidiAbsolutely blown away by the quality of service and overall experience. This hotel truly exceeded all my expectations.
The front office staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right to choose and ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I was also pleased with the amenities provided, including fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently situated near local attractions and public transportation is easy to call. It made exploring the area so much easier.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience at a great value. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

MMisafir KullanıcıArrived around mid-night, the room was ready. Easy to check in without hassled. Lift need access card to go up or down, even to lobby. The carpet along the corridor were cleaned but torn. The room with queen bed type, clean with nice scent. Not able to watch TV due to Internet connection. Breakfast was decent with limited local choices of cuisine. Parking lots at basement are available to hotel guest but closed during midnight. Overall experience, good stay with rate being paid.

MMisafir KullanıcıThis is my second time visit Pacific Orient. As expected, the is nice and clean. Check in and check out is fast and easy. I got my room facing the Bintang mall building and it was fantastic. Here, parking space is limited. So whoever wants to park their car, better come early or make early reservation. The morning breakfast was simple. Not much they can offer. After all, don't expected too much since room rates offered was less than 100 ringgit.
Definitely will stay here again if had a chance to visit Miri.
