"The front desk staffs are very friendly and informative. The lobby area is big and comfy with a coffee vending machine. Need to travel out of this hotel to get lunch/dinner/supper and shopping and entertainment. The car park for hotel are at 1st level that are free for hotel guests.
Our king size beds are very big. The rooms are big too. There is hair dryer in the toilet. The curtain in the shower is old and dirty but usable. The towels are old and not white anymore. House slippers are given but one pair looks dirty or being used. Housekeeping staffs are helpful and friendly.
The TV not easy to operation or the channels need sometime to load. The next building(residential) is so close that we have to keep our curtains close all the time.
The swimming pool and breakfast cafe are located at 5th level that are common area with the residents.
The cafe is non Aircon and is open concept, their fans are cooling enough for comfortable for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is simple and tasty. Not alot of variety but enough to be full.
The hot Spring is great, very hot. It has 2 normal pools inside and a sauna room. There's toilets and showers too. Friday and Saturday timming is 4pm to 10pm."

"We decided to stay near Mount Austin because we enjoy the nightlife there, and in the morning we could easily have wanton mee for breakfast. However, it was very difficult to find a decent hotel in the area.
The hotel is located between Mount Austin and IKEA. Although both places are accessible by cab, it is not walkable, which makes the location quite inconvenient. We booked two single rooms for $60, with a RM100 deposit for both rooms.
The rooms were extremely small—we couldn’t even open our cabin-sized luggage properly. The bed was very uncomfortable; we could clearly feel the springs. To make things worse, the walls were very thin, and we could hear voices and people walking outside clearly.
Overall, we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"The hotel was very beautiful and relaxing. The location was very good, mount Austin generallya very good place with a lot of restaurants and massage parlors nearby. The lemongrass scent that perfumes the hotel created very relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Only issue we had with the hotel was that the toilet was on the smaller side, there were no place to easily hang your clothes when trying to take a bath and there was no basin table. Anyway, will still come back again 🥳"

"Right above JB Paradigm Mall. Very convenient if that's your destination. Apartment was well furnished with lots of kitchen utensils, pots, bowls and plates etc. Has fridge, water dispenser (water of different temperatures), washing machine, ironing board, hair dryer, house-keeping equipments. Also has tv and board games for entertainment. BUT, because there were so many things, I couldn't take photos of everything and was worried if they find anything missing or spoilt they will deduct from my MYR200 deposit. Luckily that didn't happen and I got my deposit back at 7 pm. Beds and bathrooms were clean, but MBR aircon blows directly at one side of the bed, so a bit uncomfortable for person sleeping on that side. Video of direction to carpark and room tag collection was helpful, but the letterbox is the one in the lobby and not inside the mail room, so maybe need to update the video. Luckily got staff at lobby to help us. Cons: not much choice of nearby breakfast shops. Nearest shop houses were 15 minutes walk away. Mall eateries all open at 10am or later, so it's inconvenient if watching 9:15 am movie."

"Wow, surprisingly clean and spacious. I stayed at a few hotels in Austin, although 1million is located at a corner, it is actually quite convenient with the Nanyang Street opened right diagonally opposite to it. Walkable distance! If you are driving, the hotel actually is quite near to Austin Crest too! Clean and there’s fridge in the room! Bed is quite comfy for us! Defo staying here again the next trip!"

"The hotel is located in a quieter area of Taman Mount Austin, but it is still within walkable distance to places like Nanyang Street and other locations.
The hotel is newly renovated, and their basic amenities are sufficient. For the price of S$40/night in 2025, this hotel is considered to be at the lower range, but it offers a very good standard of cleanliness, careful details, and the general comfort is assured!
Attached are some pictures of my single room with a king-size bed with windows!

RR Katy YMy 1st experience booking an apartment. For a first timer, clear and precise instructions were deeply appreciated. Paradigm Residence is a well maintained building with impressive security facilities, convenient access to e mall as well. Our apartment with 3 bedrooms comfortably fitted 7 of us, it was on a high floor with a great night view. A couple of points to mention is that cleanliness can be improved and that as we were next to e highway, e traveling vehicles could be heard throughout e night, prayers nearby were audible around 6 or 7am too. There was a vacuum and a mop at e yard and we cleaned up upon checking in.
Delight Homestay team is very prompt in providing instructions and response. Ultimately, it was a pleasant stay for my family and we will be back.

YYiChaoThe ventilation fan lighting couldn’t be turned off and it’s very bright. Couldn’t get into sleep. Would suggest hostel to deactivate that light. Overall experience is great, however female toilet cleaness have to improve . Reasonable price for travelers stay.

MMisafir KullanıcıBest part was the location and having 2 bedrooms in the apartment. On hindsight, should have gone for hyatt at the same building where lobby is accessible within the mall.
For this residence, had a hard time even trying to check in. First of all, the auto reply welcome message told us to whatsapp the number 1-3 day before on check in. When i did, there was no reply all the way even thought the number was indeed under antlerzone.
Had no idea if this was because check in was not ready until after 4pm on checkin day and no choice waited till then. But still no reply so tried to look around for alternative contact number and finally got reply from another of their whatsapp number and only begun check in process then. By then kids was tired and irritated and the instructions givennto access the lobby was not helpful for families not driving. Had to walk up the cars’ slope to reach. Advice on alternative lift and entrances were not helpful.
Families with young children or elderly need to consider these.

Also the QR Code for the keypass was wrong, but a short Whatsapp to the Stay's Team and they gave us a new code.
Otherwise, was clean, was nice and bed was good. Sadly me and wife use 2 blankets so that single queen-size blanket was .... small :P

The hotel felt a bit outdated, and the rooms could use some attention in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It’s clear that the property could benefit from a refresh to improve its comfort and appeal.
On the positive side, the hotel is within walking distance of Aeon Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store right outside, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, if you're just looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in a prime location, JS Hotel could work. However, if you're looking for a more modern or well-maintained experience, you might want to explore other options.

Sticky room floor.
Cracked toilet bowl, dew unsafe to use.
Also saw stray cat vomit on table at lobby waiting area.
So far, the location is good.

antlerzone's customer service is very prompt when we feedback any issues with the apartment and gives very clear instructions. We like the location because it's near quite a number of vegetarian eateries. Also we liked the foldable mattress and extra bed linen + blanket that came with it.
Cons:
A pity that the apartment is very run down. Sink tap was wobbly, kitchen countertop was damaged, musty smell throughout the stay and the fan remote controls weren't working. The state of the unit makes me very hesitant to book any apartments managed by antlerzone for my future stays.

Distance wise is centrally located in middle of Aeon mall, Ikea and toppen mall. GT go-kart is also stones throw away with mininpasar malam.
Not encouraged if you are a light sleeper as crows start calling at 5am+ and a lot of noise from main road. It also depends on your luck that other stayers are no as noisy in the living/common area. Basically it is a house that has 4 rooms rented out as homestay with shared kitchen and hall.
If you are looking for a budget stay which is convenience then that's fine. Overall i am ok with the stay so would give an overall 3 stars as the owner is also friendly.
