The staff at this hotel are outstanding,helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. They assisted me a lot with receiving and returning parcels, which made my stay much easier. On the first day, we encountered some issues with our rooms, but the team quickly resolved them with professionalism and kindness. The hotel itself is new, clean, and well-maintained, with a convenient location not far from all the places we wanted to visit. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.

As a guest, I bring my own toothbrush but often use the hotel's toothpaste. To avoid the waste of an unused toothbrush and its packaging, it would be better if hotels offered toothpaste and toothbrushes in separate packages. Hotel environment is comfortable and easy for shopping because mall is nearby

Communications in English was extremely challenging at times. However, with assistance with train tickets, Transport, on our final day from 'Superman' known as Thomas Timothy, he arranged for our lunch, transport to station and on time to catch our train to Hong Kong and then have some gifts delivered all made possible with the exceptional and outstanding assistance of Thomas. It's amazing how individuals can make such a difference to guest's stay experience. A shout out to new employee in the lobby; Season, who went out of his way to assist with transport on our first morning. The room was amazing, with a super modern bathroom and motorised screen and blinds at the huge window. A comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep both nights. We would definitely stay there again.

Location is good, next to a mall. Free laundry service too and use robot to deliver stuff to the room. The only thing dissatisfied is the wifi. It seems China wifi is only used for local ppl and not for foreigners. They told me to switch off the DNS but it doesn't work at all. Even Guangzhou airport wifi also for local ppl only - key in their local number to connect ? Even got airport staff to help me, same cannot connect at all. Why it's that so ? wifi suppose to be the basic facilities that hotel should provide to their guests. I just don't understand why so difficult to connect wifi in China. I finished my 7 days data roaming services with fee. Without wifi, it is really inconvenience for us. My sister & cousin sister said so, wifi is no way to connect in Shunde/China. Staff with 101 code is good & helpful. She helps us check the rate for transportation from hotel to nearby Bus station which direct to Guangzhou Airport. She also offer us to have a green bean pudding :) Overall stay at this modern interior hotel is good. Will come back again if travel to Shunde. Thank you.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Turnpike Lodge. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. I would have liked softer pillows, but other than that, I can't fault the place and will definitely go back,” says a reviewer on Test-English.

Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around.

For the price, it was fine. But because it's so cheap you can't expect for the room to be perfect. It was clean enough and it was spacious. The room was difficult to find but if you ask them to help you then they will- but you need to ask.
