"I liked it, BUT... First the good: They brought me a heater when the robe wasn't enough. All of the staff is so very kind and attentive. All speak excellent or job appropriate English. It is a great place for these two reasons. But there is more good news. They're connected by a hallway to Luckin and 7/11 which make a nice comfort with inclement weather or when yr in a rush. The pillow menu lavendar pillow has no smell but the herbal Chinese Chrysanthemum is perfect olfactory and texture. There are extra blankets and pillows. Why it was my first and last: Wait til yr downstairs to call your car service. Floors 3-35 are for apartment residents, except for 7 which is the gym, spa, cafes. Ride to 36, change elevators to go to floors 36-50 hotel rooms. It's not that clean. Everything is kinda dusty. Everywhere, random hair which was gross to me: hand soap pump, the tub, breakfast ewww. The wood panel walls have never met Murphys Oil Soap and they look like the years they've been there. Also if yr allergic, be forewarned the French toast has peanut butter in it. I wanted to go to the sauna and steam room but the things I saw in the room made me think I shouldn't. They can and should do better. The people who work there are lovely and it is a decent building but I wouldn't stay again because I need more cleanliness."

"Excellent, friendly, welcoming services from when you enter to when you leave. The rooms are of a very high standard, spacious and exceptionally clean. The food is really high quality and some of the tastiest food I have experienced. Very impressive and really enjoyed my stay."

"Overall, clean, not crowed as I expected, and family friendly. We got the hotel package including some discount tickets. I knew that I could get a room upgraded, early and late check out service and the welcome fruit. I didn’t hear any thing of them when I got the check-in. I mean I had no idea what service we got regarding to the package and the Trip.com’s membership rewards. Eventually, I called the lobby and they connected me to the head office. She said I already got the room upgraded (I’m still doubt it cuz the room status was exactly the same as the room I got the reservation for) and the late check-out set up."

"the air conditioning was not working. We called servicr many times to resolve the issue, but it didn't work. A service technician came a second time, but could only make a slightly cooler, but still 22c as the hotel has a energy saving mode which prevents the temperature from going lower than 20 regardless what you set. The service staff did not clean and prepare the room the following day citing I put a Do not disturb sign when I clearly didn't"

"Suggest to pick another hotel in the area it looks very nice but it’s twice the price and half the service. Our tv had 2 English Channels and no movies unless you paid. The tv is old so you can’t cast your own apps to the tv like most basins hotel tvs. The tv itself Broke three times and we asked to a have a newer tv or B) be moved to a room where we could at least watch the TV but were refused. If you want any milk forget for your single tea bag provided in your room each day you have to pay for it. We paid for the upgraded club room and still not provided.  The buffet is vast lots to choose from and multiple chefs at each station but be warned if you have allergies nothing is signed other then to say advise chef and none of them Speak English well. If you can’t eat gluten like me then your breakfast is very limited. The chefs can’t or will not make you anything like gluten free pancakes and non of the sweet pastries or cakes are gluten free. So it’s eggs and luck that will be your breakfast for your stay. We had a club access lounge which was a nice room and I think work it for drinks. Reception staff are nice but English is not wildly spoken. We stayed at another hotel in Foshan paid 1/2 the price had movies on tv more then 2 English channels and a chef that at least tried to accommodate my food allergies. This hotel just said not possible. It’s meant to be a French hotel we expected a chef could make a basis GF pancake. Suggest if looking for a nice room and accommodative staff for 1/2 the price were you are made to feel welcome look at swisshotel unless you don’t mind eating frozen microwaved tiny side rolls served in the packet."

"Pretty decent and clean hotel. Nice pool but the steam and sauna room takes so long to heat up. The location is just alright, next to the river but 15-20 mins from city centre. Not much to do downstairs at night. Beds are a bit hard for me but good support. Overall good for a quiet stay."

"Clean and comfortable rooms. Attentive staff. Rich and varied breakfast. Competitive price. Reliable Internet. Some local eateries and one excellent, clean massage/spa with the name Fukutan just behind the hotel in 3 minutes walking distance. Next shopping mall only reachable by taxi."

"Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around."

"The location is convenient, but there are not enough waiters in the breakfast restaurant. They are not familiar with things and seem like new staff. When I went to get food, the food and coffee on the table had been taken away, which was unbelievable. The mattress was contaminated, and such bed sheets should not be used by the hotel any longer."
