You’ve Got to Stay Here When You Visit ZJJ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! Super Convenient Location: It’s just a quick 2-minute drive from the middle gate of ZJJ Forest Park — so you can get in and out easily without any stress. Amazing, Friendly Staff: The team here made everything so easy for us. They helped us book our tickets and even gave us rides to and from the park every day, whenever we wanted. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Delicious Food: Breakfast and dinner were seriously tasty — the chefs really know how to cook!!! Helpful and Caring: They created a WeChat group for guests, which was super handy if we had questions or needed help in the forest. It’s such a comforting touch! Sweet Surprise: The staff kindly upgraded our room for free because one was available — that made our stay even more special! +++ gave us a free giftset too!!! If you’re visiting ZJJ, this hotel is the place to be. We’ll definitely stay here again next time!!! 💕

After staying at Chongqing Fungee a few days before, we were pampered again at Zhangjiajie Fungee. The service staff are all very warm, friendly, helpful, and patient. They were very generous with tips for our activities. The breakfast is good - expresso coffee with western pastries to complement their local cuisines. We loved the red date yogurt and enjoyed the high tea spread delivered to the room. The room is just splendid - the bathtub for relaxing after a long day in the nature, motion sensor activated lights when we needed to visit the bathroom at night, cozy breakfast area and lounge. The conversational digital assistant (xiao du) was just fun to interact with. The hotel also had a free photo shoot session with us donning their traditional costumes.

The overall experience here was amazing. The staff were accommodating, friendly and always welcome. They kept the kitchen open late for us because our flight was delayed and gave us a laid out itinerary for our 3 day stay. Although it rained on our 2nd day here they gave us very strong contingency plans. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the tianmen mountain on our last day even though they had no obligation. Big shoutout to pan who was extremely helpful the entire trip. He was always 1 text away and personally picked us up from the avatar mountains. If I could give pan a rating it would be 11/10

Foggy Valley in Zhangjiajie is truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and thoughtfully designed the entire property is, it feels like a true luxury retreat set right in the middle of breathtaking scenery. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, and impeccably maintained. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated. The service was outstanding, attentive, responsive, and genuinely warm. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, from arranging transportation to making sure every request was handled seamlessly. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the tea service demonstration was a memorable highlight. We also enjoyed in room massages, which were incredibly relaxing and added to the overall experience. A special touch we loved was the animals on the property. The puppy, along with the friendly dogs and cats, brought so much charm and warmth to our stay. Foggy Valley is peaceful, luxurious, and truly memorable. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights whilst we explored the Zhangjiajie National Parks. The location was fabulous, just a 15 minute walk from the East Gate of the park. The hotel room was clean, well equipped and was great value. The host was fantastic, one of the best we have ever experienced. He was kind, always fast to reply to messages pre-stay, helped us get discounted park tickets, and allowed us to check out later than planned due to one of our party being ill. He also spoke some English which helped, and we used translator apps to fill the gaps. If you are staying in Wulingyuan, I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you!

Tucked perfectly near the east entrance (less than 10 minutes walk) to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, this hotel offers an unparalleled and genuine, heartfelt hospitality that made our trip truly memorable. The true highlight is the service provided by the owners, a wonderful brother and sister duo. Their dedication to guest comfort goes far beyond the professional; it is deeply personal. The brother is an absolute gem, always ready with a warm smile and invaluable, local advice on planning the best hiking routes to avoid crowds. He went out of his way to drive us to the Charming Xiangxi Show and another show at the Zhangjiajie Romance Park. Both the brother and sister also spent time helping us plan the best routes to take for the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park as well as assisting in getting discounted tickets. Their combined effort made us feel less like guests and more like welcomed family members. The rooms themselves are beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and featuring comfortable beds that were a welcome relief for tired muscles. The traditional aesthetic complements the environment, and modern amenities ensure a relaxing stay. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful, and perfectly located base for exploring Wulingyuan, look no further. The hotel offers five-star service and is good value for money. 車位：酒店門口車位不多，可以停馬路對面。 點評：我原本預訂的房間在預訂前打過電話，也備註要求，但入住還是出現了問題，中間換了2次房間，但是值得一提的是服務很好，晚上我們到達的晚，酒店前台劉女士一直微笑耐心的在解決問題。早餐種類不多，我9：30下樓吃早餐，有些餐品已經涼了，唯一的葡萄汁也見底了，如果睡眠輕的人一定提前和酒店打招呼，有些房型會有空調噪音，第一次安排的房間淋浴室往外漏水，衞生巾反味，樓上一直咚咚咚的聲音，硬件設施存在問題，噪音音頻無法上傳。 位置：酒店門口有超市，離景點不遠，出酒店不遠就有地鐵2/4號線，比較方便，馬路對面有一家不錯的餐廳。 總體：服務很好，

China has been great so far for all hotels we have stayed in. However, staying at Star Field has been the best experience we have had, anywhere in the world. The staff are so fun, kind, helpful and knowledgeable, they make effort to get to know you, give you local advice on food and drinks. Sasha (pictured with my friend and I, is a very amazing person, we were very fortunate to meet her), Ling and Jackson - are the best hotel hosts you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. The rooms are amazing, clean, technologically advanced and very comfortable. Book your stay here immediately!! The location is perfect for the national park close by and is 500m walking distance from shops, food etc 100/5 STARS

I really have mix option about this hotel so please read it all. The location of this hotel is supposed to be it's strength, but with my window close tight I was force to listen to Karaoke all night long. The music coming from the street down or maybe coming from the river-walk literally went on all night long until 6am in the morning. I couldn't get any good sleep. you do get the river-view and you do get the convenience of the location being close by the city-walk. But you wouldn't expect the noisy level all night for a 5 star hotel. The price is good, probably the lowest in town for a 5 star with a great location. room and bathroom was large size and overall clean. unreasonable crowded lobby with appears to me non hotel guests. also elevator was slow and dumb which the hotel already knew and there were notes in room that addresses the issue. But the most unreasonable problem I had was with the self-served laundry facility. The hotel had 3 sets of washer/dryer. I was able to secure 1 washer and washed my clothes. After my clothes were washed all the dryer was occupied and in-use. So I took my WET clothes back to my room and waited out the timer that was on the 3 dryers and set my alarm so I can come back use the dryer when time is up. My alarm goes off and I was back in the laundry room and the 3 dryer machine had their timers adjusted and drying time was being extended. 1 dryer was occupied by 1 guest and other TWO dryers in use by the 1 same user (there were notes on the machines that indicates which room guest are using each machine). So I set my alarm again and went back to my room with my wet clothes trying to wait it out. Time is up and I went to check on the dryers, while approaching the laundry room I saw a staff coming out from it. And when I went into the laundry room the dryer's timer have been extended and occupied by the same people. I was frustrated and angry, so I went to the hotel front lobby to report the issue hoping to get a solution. the front lobby acknowledge that it was their staff that is helping the other room guest extending the timers and taking care their laundry. WELL its self-sever laundry so the staff shouldn't have done that and if they wanted to provide service and change the usage rules then they should give an opportunity for other guests to use the machines too. ESPECIALLY one of the guest is using TWO machines at the same time. Shouldn't the staff stop one machine and let me/others guest use it and when we are done that guest can hog up two machines again. But, no, front lobby attendant insist that guest can use two machines until their clothes are dry/done. WHAT?! so I ask, if a guest hogs up 3 machines at the same time and use it for 10 hours straight other guest should just wait or not be able to use the laundry? Her solution for me was to leave my clothes in the laundry and when the other guest clothes are dry and the staff will help to put my clothes in the dryer for me. WHAT, NO. first hygiene issue I don't want anyone else to touch my washed clothes. second, what if my clothes were missing, like a sock or something. by then, an apology don't turn things back and it's called a self-served laundry for a reason. It was like 3am, in the end I didnt get to dry my clothes. I had to pack up my simi wet clothes the next day to check out with lack of sleep. I brought to the manager's attention about the ordeal I went through during check out and she apologized for what I went through the night. She authorized a partial credit refund for my stay, so please keep in mind I gave 2/5 for service because she brought it back. otherwise, the service would have been 0 or 1 star.
