The walls were a bit thin, but that's normal for Japan hotels. Lovely hospitality. They gave a free dashi pack as a door gift.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. The main draw is its location - directly linked to Sendai JR Station and S-PAL mall. I checked in on 1 Jan and almost all shops are closed during to the NY holiday. Luckily Yodabashi next door is opened and there is a food hall there. The tourist Loople Bus is also a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room size is good. What I didn’t like was no place to hang your clothing in the bathroom, though not much issue for me since I’m travelling alone And the toiletries like cotton wool are not replenished on 1 of the 4 nights I was there. Noted: don’t be mistaken with Hotel Metropolitan Sendai (without the East).

Hotel was relatively new, with quite a bit of eateries nearby, and mitsukoshi right opposite. About 15minutes' walk from sendai station but the metro is just outside the hotel. Basic amenities provided though toothbrush is a bi toot tough/hard for brushing. Stayed 3 nights. Will return again as it is super value for money.

One of the best and newest biz hotels stayed at during my trip. It’s near the Sendai station and shopping malls Parco. Very good amenities. Great location to travel to Yamadera.

Great value for money. Would recommend. 5 minute from from Sendai station and a 10 minute walk into the area if bars and restaurants.

So this place would get all 5 stars if it wasn't for the parking, though that's an issue in many places in Japan, so maybe don't listen to the foreigner's complaint on that one. :) The service and staff were top notch and the food was varied and good. The bath was nice and it was band-aid friendly, they even had some at the front desk, for those who understand what I mean. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

The room is big enough to even change my suitcase from broken one to a new one. I like having bamboo baskets for me to carry thing to the onsen. It is very nice to have sauna, one indoor onsen, one outdoor onsen and a cold onsen. I was happy to have an ice-cream after onsen and can have a small bowl of ramen for free.

Room is quite big and comfortable, beautiful lobby. The room had double-layered curtains with sheer drapes, which was a very thoughtful touch. Even when the morning sunlight was bright, it didn’t feel harsh. The only pity was that we didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast this time—hopefully, we can enjoy it on my next visit. It’s a hotel that makes me want to come back again~

Check-in and check-out was really easy. Room and hotel both had nice amenities. But the room could have been a bit cleaner. I noticed during my 4-night-stay, that the room had not been vacuum cleaned once and two times I received a slip of paper by the cleaning staff that the cleaning could not be completed. One time they stated that there still was my stuff on the table and therefore it could not be cleaned. Another time, they did just leave the slip without checking a reason. I was confused both times, since all the things left on the table were the ones the hotel put there. The bathroom should also not only be treated for mold, but should be cleaned more thoroughly in general, since there was still dirt on the walls and cealing, which caused a small number of flies to live in the bathroom.  Some people might also find it hard to fall asleep, since the walls are thin and you can hear the noise from the street as well as the very loud bathroom vent that is on 24/7 and cannot be switched off.  Location of the hotel was easy to find and very central, so that was really nice.

This was my first time staying in sendai and everything was perfect! The front desk was friendly and helpful, all of the amenities also good. The room is well maintained and the space is enough for 2 person. Also location just 5 minutes walk to the station which is really great. Thank you and will come back here wherever I come to sendai again
