We had a pleasant stay at Amanek Beppu. The lobby is bright and welcoming, giving a great first impression. The hotel provides free bottles of water, which was a nice touch and very convenient during my stay. Our room was comfortable and well-kept, making it easy to relax after a long day. Parking is available nearby for a reasonable fee, so it was convenient even for those traveling by car. Overall, Amanek Beppu offers comfort, convenience, and good value. We would happily stay here again.

Yufuin Santoukan is a nice hotel with very good environment. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Also the food are wonderful indeed.

온천 청결도가 리뷰처럼 조금 아쉬워요 밤엔 몰랐는데 낮에 들어가보니 뭐가 둥둥.. 엄청 친절하고 픽업 드랍 다 좋았어요 근데.. 석식과 조식을 기대하면 안될 듯.. 유후인 꽤 갔는데 식사가 가장 부실했습니다. 특히 조식에 나온 단호박은.. 제꺼만 그런지 물먹은 스펀지였어요 살짝 누르니 물이 쭉 나와서 일행 다 놀랐어요 청결과 식사만 개선하면 정말 좋을거 같아요

Location is superb right outside the main walking street Private onsen is very nice. Hotel staff, Umi, spoke excellent English and was with us throughout our 2 nights stay with breakfast and dinner. Driving in to the hotel is challenging as there are many people walking along the street. 6mins walk to kinrin Lake to watch the morning mist.

The hotel itself is a bit older, and you can definitely feel its age in some areas of the property. That said, it still maintains a certain traditional charm. One thing to note is that the location isn’t the easiest to access on foot—you’ll really need a car to get around comfortably, especially if you plan to explore the surrounding area. What truly stood out during my stay was the restaurant staff. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and warm throughout my visit. Their hospitality made the dining experience one of the highlights of the hotel. The meals were well-prepared and thoughtfully presented, adding a special touch to each day. Overall, while the facilities could use a bit of updating and the location is best suited for travelers with a vehicle, the kindness and service of the restaurant staff made the stay worthwhile.

Exit from train station, turn right, walk out of the exit and you will see the entrance of the hotel on the right of the building at AMU. Lobby at level 8 while room from 9 onwards. Level 19 is the free onsen for guests. Breakfast was good local and western style. The washer and dryer not as good I think as after wash my clothing got a smell. Managed to rewash some at Kagoshima. Overall very convenient hotel as we used their trains to travel to Peppu to visit hells and Yokosuka to visit Harmonyland

the room is clean, spacious and tidy in general, at least there is no obvious stain on the bedding. The onsen in the hotel is pretty good as the opening time is quite long that you can even enjoy it in the early morning from 0500-0900. The staff there was so nice to me, willing to help, and they can speak in English. The only thing I don’t like is the location. Although I know I have to walk for a while from the JR station, it’s longer than I expected especially when you carry a heavy luggage on a rainy day (maybe im just unlucky). And there is nearly no restaurant nearby. You have to walk for like 7-8 mins to go back to the main street. In conclusion, if you don’t mind the location, it will be a choice for you.

벳푸역 주변에서 2박, 오카모툐야 료칸에서 1박 보냈습니다. 벳푸역과는 거리가 조금 있습니다. 하드웨어적으로는 조금 오래되었으나 관리를 잘 하고 있는 듯 하며, 벳푸역 주변의 온천 호텔(여기도 매우 친절) 대비 더욱더 친절한 서비스를 보여줍니다.

Exceptional Service! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel, and I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for one of your exceptional staff members, Mr.Koji. During my stay, Koji was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with my problem. I was particularly touched by his kindness and proactiveness. He demonstrated a level of attentiveness and genuine care that truly made a difference in my experience. It is clear that he does not hesitate to go the extra mile for guests. The quality of a hotel is often reflected in its staff, and having employees like this is a huge asset. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again should I have the opportunity.

We reserved a room with private bath and half board. The package is a bit pricey for us but we think it’s worth the money! The private onsen is very nice, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The dinner & breakfast are fairly good. The service staff speaks English and made our communication easy. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay❤️
