I'm so disappointed with their service when it comes to cleanliness..I do understand how busy this time of the year,but they should be consistent with it comes to cleanliness.I always choose HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS because I have very good experience last year (NEW YEAR) in scotland branch and it was amazing experience..so I thought it would be the same here in HI Express Bath..We travelled as a family and my son 11y/o is Autistic,with ADHD and OCD as well as allergies...this kind of bed(sofa bed LINEN is unacceptable to whoever will stay there...we were told to wait until we occupied our room for this sofa bed to be ready,still we are not provided with bed sheets for this...really devastating,so sad and disappointing...

I had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel! The receptions were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options I enjoyed the hotel’s historical building.The location is convenient for exploring the city, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, a wonderful experience—I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again!

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. We loved our stay at the Landsdown hotel for New Year’s Eve. Only a short (but steep downhill) walk to the town centre and the Royal crescent which suited us very well, and the parking was perfect (apparently this is one of few hotels to have parking in the town centre although we paid £15 per night, but was allowed to stay until 4pm the next day). Breakfast was included and was delicious, the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were super knowledgeable and helpful. The room itself had a nice view of the town, and had everything we needed. The only criticism was our window didn’t open but there was a fan supplied in the cupboard. Would definitely recommend and would come here again :)

Mayıs 1975'te kursumuza başlamamızın 50. yılını kutlayan bir grup hemşire için çok özel bir buluşmaydı. O zamanlar bu otel bir hemşire eviydi ve hepimiz yaklaşık 18 ay burada yaşadık. Öğle yemeği rezervasyonu yaptırmıştık, yemekler harikaydı ve servis harikaydı. Konaklamamızdan çok keyif aldık, beş kişi bir veya iki gece kaldık. Çok güzel ve huzurlu, daha iyisi olamazdı. Benice bizim için her şeyi organize etti, bir etkinlik rezervasyonu yaptırıyorsanız onu şiddetle tavsiye ederim.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Comfortable Stay and Great Location I stayed at the Holiday Inn Taunton and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is easy to access, just off the M5, which made it a convenient base for exploring Somerset or stopping over during a longer journey. The room was clean and quiet, with everything I needed — a comfy bed, a good shower, and a desk area. Wi-Fi worked well, and I appreciated the tea/coffee station. While the decor is slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options, and the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening too.

We booked 2 nights for a relaxing spa weekend. Based on it being a spa hotel. We planned on staying in the hotel for the whole weekend.  When we arrived we were told there was no restaurant or bar we can use as it’s only used for events.  We then had some lunch in the spa cafe. Food was ok. Service was terrible.  We then went to the room as we were able to check in. The cleaner was still there. Very apologetic extremely polite and lovely. The room was absolutely wonderful. Large bedroom bathroom and living room.  We went out and found a pub for food. When we returned to relax in the room we found the party was directly below us and in full swing. Very loud and noisy and the smoking area was right outside our window. We called reception but they were fully booked. Glad to say it all stopped at midnight.  We went down to breakfast at 9.30. Not much left and the full breakfast was cold. When we questioned it we were just told”well it has been there since 7” it had just sat on the side in silver trays for 2.5 hours, no heat or option to reheat. It wasn’t edible.  We skipped breakfast that we paid for on the second day.  We then thought we would spend some time in the spa. Ha! Well the pool is small, no where to relax just a couple of plastic chairs, not a spa at all. It had a very small sauna and steam room. The jacuzzi didn’t work it was just a pool of cloudy water with a few bubbles.  Would not recommend. Seems it used to be and could be a wonderful place to be but has been taken over and lost its sole. Such a shame as the building and grounds are wonderful.  I have to add the cleaning staff and lady on reception were wonderful, welcoming and friendly.

Very central , very nice staff , good breakfast. Maybe have some glasses in the room , if you wanted a cold drink /beer etc in the room they're were only mugs . Enjoyable stay , parking is a big plus too

It was great, the reception, the bedroom, the bathroom, and Dani was very kind with us, but there was not breakfast!!

This is a splendid Hotel and Spa set in the Somerset countryside near Winscombe. The Pool and Spa Facilities are very good indeed. There is a small sauna and a steam room that can comfortably allow 6 occupants. The Gym facilities are excellent and extensive. The Pool looks great though I didn't swim on this occasion. All the staff speak good English.The Bar is very comfortable with plush sofas in the Lounge area. I didn't dine, but the Dining area is large and looks comfortable. The outside area gives a beautiful view of the landscape and Brent Knoll. Nit Picks... Check in is strictly at 3pm and not before so there might be queues at that time. The corridors are confusing and first time guests might get lost. In the bathroom the Shower gel and Shampoo dispenser are in small bottles fixed to the wall by the shower and pressing once dispenses only a tiny amount. The service at the Spa was not quite right on the first night and very little was explained. It was better in the morning. My room was small, but very clean. The TV remote needed a very firm press to change channels of volume, but you get the hang of it eventually. I will stay again. The room rate by Trip com was amazingly good and better than any other Online provider. Well done Trip com. Below a picture of the landscape from the road below the hotel.
