Private parking for 1500 yen until next day 11:00, Close to Nara park ,have free ramen at night , the matcha latte was creamy and smooth.

Smile Hotel Nara is a great base for exploring Nara! It is very close to the JR Nara station (It only took a few minutes to walk to the hotel from the station). From the station, you can take a cheap bus to go look at many of the famous views and sights (and deer) in and around Nara Park (photos attached)! The hotel was older but still very clean, had free luggage storage for guests, and was very warm on a cold winter night! Also, you can drink the sink water from this hotel bathroom!

Temporarily stayed one night there, the lobby looks good, the room is clean, but the room is too small and too old for this price.

Hotel was about 2 mins walk from the entrance of Nara park n the shopping district. Very good location. You could either walk 1.3km to the hotel from the JR station, or take a taxi which would cost around 1200yen. About 10 mins walk from the metro station. I stayed for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner inclusive. The Ryokan did take note n served us a different menu each day. There was also a small indoor n outdoor onsen in the Ryokan. The food was superb.

Rezervasyon yaptırırken oda açıklamasında ”sigara içilmeyen” yazıyordu. Ama bize kül tablası ve ona uygun kokunun olduğu bir oda verdiler. Booking desteği aracılığıyla sorunun çözülmesini 3 saat bekledik. Ve sonunda bize sigara içilmeyen çok güzel bir oda verdiler. Tadilatı daha yeniydi ve masaj koltuğu iyiydi. İlk odada her şey bakımsızdı ve kötü kokuyordu. Rezervasyon sırasında sigara içilmeyen oda için ayrıca talepte bulunulması gerektiği bilgisi verildi. Bu garip, çünkü bu zaten rezervasyonda ve oda açıklamasında belirtilmişti. Genel olarak karışık duygular içindeyim. Çok fazla vaktimizi aldılar. Ancak odada tuvalet malzemesi anlamında her şey, hatta daha fazlası vardı. Jakuzi. Masaj koltuğu.

The hotel was a bit dated, but the staff were marvelous; impeccable service. The welcome drinks were a pleasant surprise. I was surprised that rooms did not supply hand/body lotion, and a bit disappointed that more attention was not put on sustainable use products. The hotel had perfect access to needed services, despite being more removed from Nara's main core. For the price point, breakfast ought to have been included.

Good service and Nice breakfast，I appreciate the front desk staff Mone, the staff (male), and the restaurant staff! They are very helpful. First, We missed the shuttle bus at first day about 3:01pm, he saw the bus just had gone and he ran to catch and stopped it. Then we got up late at the second day, the last order should be 9:30pm.but we forgot the time, they still let us to take the breakfast. Last , Mone always keep her smiling face to help booking the taxi and packing our gift, and also introducing the surrounding scenic spot. Thank you so much!

Fantastic hotel for anyone who drive. Free Car park with lots of spaces. The facility is very clean, spacious room, both indoor and outdoor hot spring. Really there is nothing to complain in this hotel. It is located in a fairly decent neighborhoods and able to provide this standard of hot spring is phenomenal. One of the best stay we had in this journey. Highly Recommended.

Very good hotel, reasonable price, and the best location because it's connected to JR Nara station. After leaving from JR Nara station gate, you can directly walk to 2nd floor of this hotel, it's the best location. This hotel has very good arrangements, good facilities. This hotel provides pajamas, comb, cotton bud, toothbrush for picking up at front of lift. This hotel is very clean.. All facilities in the room has everything, i really enjoy staying in this hotel.
