"More than perfect. From arrival check-in to checkout everything was gorgeous. Others say that it’s cheaper outside but I got 300% service, happiness and quality for what I paid. You’re assisted with a private butler 24/7 and she’ll take care of all your needs in a minute or 2. The main experience ( for me) is that you don’t need to worry about your time. Unlimited entries and nothing to carry along with you while you’re walking and climbing a lot. The room is spotless and easy to reach from any part of the scenic area. Heating systems and smart facilities are among the amazing features of the price. Floor heating system is my first experience in while China. When you wake up next morning, the breakfast is ready for you with plenty of quality varieties buffet style to enjoy. Next year same season, I’ll be visiting this hotel again but this time for 2 nights"

"What a wonderful place! The room was beautifully decorated and full of all comforts, with a beautiful view on the manicured hillside lush with greens and trees, a joy for the eyes. All minibar items were included with a delicious plate of fruit fresh everyday. We were given two coupons per night of stay to use at their restaurant and hence we didn’t spend anything for food on our first day. Delicious food at great price. Nice bar where to have a drink after dinner with good cocktails and vibes. All the staff went beyond their efforts to give us the best experience with a smile and finding all the solutions we needed. You can rent a scooter for 40 RMB a day to go explore the area around. Great pool, beautiful gardens for walks, all was superb will definitely recommend it and return asap. Thank you!"

"Very grateful to the counter lady who let us check in early. The room was much dimmer compared to photo which is disappointing. It’s an old hotel, therefore the amenities were worn, but nothing serious and the staff quickly addressed any issues. Great overall and will rebook"

The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I spent a long time thinking about where to spend New Year’s Eve in China, and booking a room at this hotel turned out to be a real stroke of luck for me. I was able to contact the hotel staff without any issues to clarify the hotel and park operating hours during the holidays. Xiao Kuang, the hotel manager, explained everything to me in great detail and provided all the information in English, which I truly appreciated. I was a bit worried about the food, but I was genuinely surprised by how much variety there was. The selection was impressive, and I was especially happy to find my favorite dish — 肉夹馍! The room itself was excellent, and the check-in process was very fast, even during the holiday period. I would also like to highlight the breakfast separately — there was a huge variety of food, and everything was very satisfying. As for the park area, it really deserves a separate description of its own. Staying at this hotel and visiting the park will definitely remain a very memorable experience for me. Many thanks to the entire hotel team and especially to Xiao Kuang for making my stay so enjoyable!

暑假帶孩子來江西，安排了婺女州的行程，無意間訂了星河草堂，真的有超出預期！到的比較晚，小姐姐主動給我們做了升級，住宿環境一應俱全，樓上樓下三個泳池，頂樓洗衣晾衣方便，房間大氣乾淨整潔，佈置温馨，有種回家的感覺，這一晚上也睡得特別香甜。細節處能看出民宿佈置用心。窗邊視野開闊，一樓環境時尚中透着田園風，又是一道別樣的風景。酒店位置離景點十分近且方便，前台姑娘超nice提前發了詳細的入住指南和旅遊攻略，有問必秒回覆，給準備了歡迎水果及晚安甜品～ 總之住得很舒服，牆裂推薦。再次感謝前台小姐姐的周到，旅途因你的熱心和體貼，而倍覺暖心~好感倍增，完美的入住體驗~下次來一定再住這裏~

The hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning). Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked. The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through. As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out! If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

Do not come here expecting westernised service. The Chinese restaurant did not have a menu in English and staff could not communicate like other Hilton International hotels. The food was very expensive for the worst food we had in China. Restaurant very untidy taking them too long to clear tables despite staff present. They kept saying about the western restaurant and we were sent around the hotel in circles - we eventually got them to escort us to it - it was closed and only the location for breakfast. Half the hotel is mothballed with the lights off. Good breakfast in the morning to fuel you for a day up the mountain. The room was good - although there were so many different light switches it was a mission to turn things on or off.

This is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money! The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing. Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁 The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍 The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes. We liked it here so much that we booked a second night. There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby. Thank you! 🙏

這家酒店的體驗感真的絕了，五星好評實至名歸！位置特別好，離機場很近，還離地鐵站很近，對於趕飛機的朋友來説太友好了，再也不用擔心趕不上飛機了。大堂的環境特別好，裝修精緻，還有香氛，讓人感覺特別放鬆，休息區的沙發也特別舒服，等車的時候可以好好歇歇。辦理入住的工作人員小林小林態度特別好，效率也很高，幾分鐘就搞定了。房間的設施很齊全舒適//空調的製冷制熱效果都特別好。床品特別乾淨，柔軟舒適，睡起來特別香。衞生方面做得特別到位，每個角落都打掃得乾乾淨淨，沒有一點灰塵。衞生間的洗漱用品很齊全，，特別貼心。離店的時候還會送小伴手禮，真的太有心意了，必須推薦！

Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny. Standout features: - Luxurious design - Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months - Amazing hot tub - Good quality bath products and toiletries - Very cozy robes - Spacious room Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further: - The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible. - Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief - Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite - The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance - There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F - Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area - Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language - Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter) 10/10 recommended

Family of 6 with 2 children and a young baby. The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage. We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort. The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up. On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's. A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about. By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open. It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
