Nous sommes arrivés vers 1h00 du matin et avons été très bien accueillis. Le réceptionniste nous a conduits à notre chambre avec le sourire. Dans la chambre, une bouteille d'eau, du café et du thé sont à disposition gratuitement. Le jardin est très bien entretenu, le personnel du restaurant est très agréable. Le parking est facilement accessible.

Awesome little town and best hotel in the area I can find! Very comfortable and helpful staff! Shame I didn’t have time to try their Turkish bath room! Breakfast was a spread! And easily walkable downhill and back up (about 2 miles) to the beach restaurants of São Vicente

O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

Room is spacious with balcony. Outside the hotel, there are public buses going to Funchal center. It's also located in the shopping area with restaurants and supermarkets. You can sit at rooftop to have a sea view. Breakfast buffet is good. Airport is less than half hour on taxi.

Funcionários simpático, limpeza boa, pequeno almoço muito simples, mas delicioso. Quarto virado para estrada: Infelizmente no sábado, até às 02h00, música muito alta do bar zarco, muito incómodo para dormir mesmo com janelas fechadas. Após o fecho do bar os locais fizeram muito barulho na estrada até às 03h00. (Falar alto, risadas, gritos,etc...).

Incredibly clean room & bed linen. Very quiet room. Very convenient for the airport and close to bars and restaurants

The hotel is in a good location and the sea view room which we reserved had a nice view of ocean. But, I need to mention that this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The whole building is old and they kept it in an old fashion way. The bath is not good, they don't offer even water in daily service and neither tea. (which is expected from a four star hotel) The elevator is old and always full, really not suitable for an eleven floor building.

Hotel no centro do Funchal, muito agradável e aconchegante onde fiquei pela 3a vez. Atendimento simpático. Quarto muito bom, com o tamanho certo e uma cama muito confortável. O pequeno almoço também é muito bom.

Very disappointing parking situation, 10e a day parking or driving up and down the road trying to find public spot.. NO WIFI!!!! What do you mean there’s 0 free WiFi access in any areas of the hotel Wouldn’t be as big of an issue but there’s also very little mobile network connection, therefore use of Data was ever limited.. Breakfast - is okay, you could tell a lot of items are stored and reused days later (pastries, fresh fruits) Pool is okay but sunbeds are uncomfortable and you can’t get a towel in morning (10am…) Hotel management could easily make this in a 5* property with just basic additional amenities and being less greedy with add ons.. Overall for a supposedly 4 star hotel it’s more like 3. However Staff are quite nice and helpful Rooms are crazy spacious (probably double what average same price hotel will get you in Portugal) Location is good, a little further from city center (about 75min walk) but in front of a nice empty black sand beach
