During my recent stay at this hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable with top-quality fittings and furnishings. However, there were areas that required improvement. The hotel itself is pleasant, but enhancing the service and room cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience. A standard room was paid for but a disability-accessible room was provided. We requested to change it to a standard which was done immediately without any questions. No water bottles were provided in the room initially; they were only given on request and only two small bottles were provided. Additionally, the room cleaning service was unsatisfactory. Despite requesting it twice over 4 nights, the cleaner only changed the sheets once and neglected to take out the bins vacuum, replace towels or clean the bathroom. This was particularly disappointing given the length of my nearly week-long stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented with various options but unfortunately remained the same every day lacking any variation. Some areas were particularly poor. For instance, the scrambled eggs had a distinct smell and were overly watery. Adding tomatoes or simply varying the options every few days would have improved the experience. One concern we had was the cleaning team. Twice the cleaner used his universal card to enter our room without ensuring no one was present. My partner was in the shower and our young baby was asleep. We heard a knock but were unable to reach the door in time. Upon reaching it we realised he was already entering. This occurred twice and on the following day we decided to chain the door for privacy reasons. In other hotels we have stayed in, privacy is of the utmost concern for staff and they would never even risk opening someone’s locked door without making sure. A better system needs to be in place here.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester – everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – we had some of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious – a real treat after a long day exploring the city. Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If you’re in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. We’ll absolutely be back!

Overall the hotel was pretty decent however weren’t informed on arrival that we had to register car plate number on the electronic system to avoid paying fine. Explained this to the receptionist as we weren’t informed on arrival but they weren’t being of great help and one of the staff was quite rude and dismissive. Rest of the stay apart from this was fine

Hotel is lovely & very central to all the shops pubs etc all walking distance & NCP car park 5 mins walk away. We had afternoon tea when we arrived & yes it’s more than you would pay but the service & quality of the hood was second to none !! Cakes were so light you wondered if you ate them 🤣🤣 Pool & spar was so relaxing, we went 3 times & never really busy. Staff were all excellent as you would expect & we would definitely like to go back . Highly recommended x

We stayed here because it is very close to Manchester Airport and the train station, which was convenient for our trip. The hotel was okay overall and did what we needed for a short stay. Check-in was a bit disappointing, as one staff member was rude. We were also given the wrong bed at first, even though we had asked for two single beds. This was fixed quickly after we mentioned it. The room and facilities were fine but very basic. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a practical place to stay if you just need somewhere close to the airport.

room was clean beds and ere comfy, the staff weren’t that cheery. The gym and pool facilities which are included and really good. Would stay again.

Hotel was central and only a short walk from the train station. Rooms was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely book again

beautiful hotel but location was not near the lowry theatre or media city. Still within a good location if you are wanting to experience the city of manchester which is a 5 min walk.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, very organised, the food is very good and the staff are really friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel!

酒店設施還算不錯，有停車場停車方便，在英國算是房間面積很大的酒店了，酒店裡外都有餐廳，早餐不錯，衞生整潔沒問題。
