Loved this hotel with the sea view. Could sleep listening to the ocean. Breakfast was good. Only downside was having to pay extra to use the sauna.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war groß und es war sehr lecker. Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber.

Мне понравилось проживание, размер номера, чистое белье и полотенца, большой душ, хороший напор горячей и холодной воды, музыка на тв, большой бассейн. Завтрак достаточно хороший, ужин тоже, без изысков, но есть, что покушать, есть фрукты ( ананас, дыня, арбуз и апельсины), завтрак стоит 7,5; ужин с маленькой бутылочкой вина мне обошелся в 25 евро. Персонал на ресепшен очень внимательный, мне разрешили поменять дату завтрака и помогали с расписанием поездов. В номере было просторно и был балкон.

Booked a panoramic balcony suite - room was fantastic all you could need, x2 bathrooms, kitchenette, living area and large bed and balcony with views. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of choices and was to high standard and well stocked - really enjoyed it ! I ate a snack on the evening in the mezzanine bar, it was ok but not amazing. The quality of the red wine and attentive service in the bar was very good. Checkin and out quick and very well organised and lovely communicative staff.
My personal preferences, would be that in the evenings there is a buffet meal option, rather than pre booked restaurant or pizza as it is somewhat limiting. And minor but attention to details - a suggestion that the room stock only local/Portuguese products such as the water, should really be from Monchqiue... and provided toiletries felt a bit random a mix of English and Portuguese - felt a bit like what was just leftover rather than a collaboration and quality there.
Overall excellent stay and will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved the two bed sea view villa upgrade.. the pool was clean.. the kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our own meals during our stay.. better to get groceries supplies from nearby Lagoa town as the stores next to hotel doesn’t have much options.. Algarve Saco and Carveiro beach is walkable distance and there are few trekking routes next to hotel ..

Such polite staff and very helpful always smiling. Rooms are perfectly adequate and sizeable. The amenities are terrific with a fun and large pool area which is clean and gets lots of sun year round

Ein wunderschönes Hotel umgeben von einer herrlichen Gartenlandschaft. Kaum angekommen passierte etwas unvorstellbares - Black out auf der iberischen Halbinsel. Die Hotelmanager haben vorbildlich reagiert - Informationen gegeben, jeder Person eine Wasserflasche zur Verfügung gestellt, abends im Restaurant kalte Speisen und kostenlose Grillgerichte serviert. Auch das Notstromaggregat lief stundenweise. Somit fühlten wir uns, trotz Unsicherheiten, gut aufgehoben.
Die Sonne genießen an der herrlichen Poollandschaft ist ja auch nicht zu verachten. Das Frühstückbuffett war abwechslungsreich, auch mit guter Auswahl für Veganer und Vegetarier. Wir haben, unter anderem, das herrliche, süße Obst sehr genossen.

A Cozy Getaway with a Few Quirks
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Block C in a wonderful location near the beach. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there, as the bedroom was spacious and beautifully designed. However, there were a few quirks that left us slightly puzzled.
Locating the signage for the establishment proved to be a small challenge, but it added a sense of adventure to our experience.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room left something to be desired. It struggled to keep the temperature comfortably cool, and we often found ourselves feeling a bit hot. It would be great if this aspect could be improved to ensure a more comfortable stay.
Nevertheless, spending evenings on the balcony was a delightfully cozy and relaxed experience. The ambiance was inviting and lent itself to unwinding after a day of exploration. The surrounding garden and environment added to the overall charm, and we truly appreciated the pleasant surroundings.
I highly recommend visiting this place for a minimum stay of 2 to 3 days. Anything less would make the trip feel rushed, as there is so much to explore and enjoy. Despite the minor quirks, our overall experience was enjoyable and memorable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and would gladly return for another visit.

Roof terrace is lovely just a bit of a nuisance to access along winding corridors but had a great snack bar. Swimming pool is excellent but difficult to climb out of as the surrounding ledge is high. Breakfast was very good and overall we’d stay again. In

LLivinglifeThe hotel is a beautiful one, no doubt about it, but there are a few things that I wasn't happy with.
It is like most things you need to pay for. Needed to iron my clothes, I was told that I needed to pay for the service due to safety issues. Will get my stuff in 48 hours. If I wanted it earlier, I had to pay more. To get to the beach, I was i formed that I need to pay for a ferry to get me across... all this should have been said before a persons book. The hotel is a secluded, nice area. In order to navigate a taxi is a must unless one wants to walk for 30 minutes in the scrotching sun to catch the train or bus. Uber service is better than the taxi you would get from the airport as it is costly.
The food was good, in terms of variety ilI would say no, but it terms of taste yes great. Kudos to the chef. Staff are very helpful and understanding. Some drinks, however, are watered down. I love pina Colada, but wow, i had no clue what I got there.
Apart from that, I had a lovely stay, entertainment, the rooftop, top superb ( was there every evening).

SSTV7A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location - we went at a time where it was a little quieter but still sunny. They town is small and cute and during summer I’m sure there’s more entertainment. The staff in the beginning weren’t as welcoming but after that they were all very pleasant. We did mention it’s our anniversary but as this was in the beginning with staff that weren’t bothered nothing was done. Other staff were very very nice and always so helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the bar at night was also lovely.

AAnonim KullanıcıHotel is in perfect location within the historical site, the room is clean and comfy. Beautiful pool in the middle of the garden. Despite all ups, the downside was the service in general, however the reception was helpful when asked.
Tips:
Avoid staying the same floor as the reception because there is a staff room next to you, and the staff come to chitchat in the room and the hallway (the same hallway as guest doors, clearly echo).
Beware of hot food running out from breakfast way earlier than closing time, you cannot request those eggs, bacons, mushroom if it's runs out. even there are many guests coming in and was no hot food.
Like other comment says the hotel is full of potential and personally we think its a very peaceful & lovely place with historical charm. Just the frontline service staffs around the place still far from that so called well service.
House keeping were friendly and helpful, gardening maintained well.
Enjoyed the place and once learned to didnt expect any service, Its was the best way.

Hotel entrance looks like a train station waiting room.
For a moment we thought that we are underground as its dark everywhere inside the hotel. Toilets were smelly on the entrance ground, Windows were cleaned on Christmas last year i think. Dirty floors.
Rooms are dingy, but spacious.. Lots of cupboard space. you cant use the mirrors in bath area as its too dark. Water in Toilet bowl keeps on going unless you fiddle with the push buttons. TV Remote was filthy.
Towels are from the 10th century, use with care! Toiletries are basic brands, nothing oo la la!
Breakfast is good, not excellent. Theres a live station for omelettes and pancakes. Coffee from nescafe machines with pods, again not very 5 star standard.
Stay here if you have a good price deal but not high expectations.
DO NOT EXPECT 5 STAR SERVICE! You have been warned.

MMisafir KullanıcıIm Winter war wenig los. Es gab nur einen Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Restaurant war nur für Frühstück offen. Aber das Frühstück war richtig richtig gut. Viele Auswahl und sehr lecker. Sonstige Ausstattungen wie Pool und Sauna haben wir leider nicht probiert. Zimmer war sehr hübsch und sauber. Die Lage ist gut. Es gibt gleich einen Strand und guten Wanderweg vom Resort hinten aus. Zum Resort muss man aber immer mit Auto oder Taxi fahren. Room Service war verfügbar, wenn man Essen spontan bestellen will.
