We ended up in a magnificent corner room with a view of Sakurajima - possibly the best room in the hotel - but only after a struggle. On arrival, we were told that our Standard King room was double-booked and we would have to move after one night to a smaller room. The hotel blamed the mix-up on Trip.com. Since we had booked almost two months prior and had arrived first, this didn't wash. We pressed our claim and the result was good. A lovely, modern room with exceptional facilities - including a private sauna - and magnificent view. But it speaks poorly of the hotel's customer service that it took some determined push-back to achieve this result. The hotel's initial attitude was that the we should lose out over a mix-up that had nothing to do with us. A first-rate place, if you can trust the booking.

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.

Our stay at Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and easily accessible by car. The spacious rooms and amazing onsen facilities were impressive, especially the private outdoor onsen in the forest, which we enjoyed in the evening when it was dark – a truly phenomenal experience. The authentic food was another highlight, beautifully presented and truly delicious. We highly recommend Kirishima Onsen Ryokojin Sanso for anyone seeking a serene and authentic Japanese onsen experience.

Good location, easy access to tram and shopping / restaurant area. Great breakfast. Only problem is air conditioning is set to heating only, outside temperature is over 10 degrees and having cooling will make more sense, we end up turning off the air conditioner and open window instead, rather bearing the traffic noise than a more than warm room.

I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

指宿的酒店真的選了好久，秀水園的圖片資料又少的可憐，但看網友評論會席料理是它的特色，作為吃貨的我們就抱着試一試的心態定了這家，結果！真的很喜歡！ 服務：關於服務，真的是傳統日式酒店才會有的細節，從我們辦理入住後，就有一對的的服務員來接我們去温泉（私湯衹需要花100元人民幣左右），帶我們去餐廳（餐食一定要試一次，精緻美味），最驚喜的是我的拖鞋（毛拖鞋）在進門的時候被雨水打的焦濕，我還開玩笑跟老公説他們會不會看我鞋子濕的那麼透幫我烘乾呀，不然第二天我又得穿濕的鞋，結果第二天早上出門！真的烘乾了（因為有一衹變小了縮水了哈哈哈所以確定是烘乾的），然後是我們詢問任何服務他們都不會問我們是哪個房間，他們的服務員會記住我們，直接為我們安排好一切，説了這麼多還是得親自去體驗一次，哈哈。

Very clean place. Rooms quite small. Breakfast was great. Would recommend and stay here again.

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! 最高にいいロケーションでどこで写真撮っても綺麗でした。夕食もいろんなカクテルだったり焼酎も楽しめました♪それと夕食の時，お席が決まってましたがテラスの方で食べたいと伝えると快く移動してくださいました。従業員さんの接客対応も凄くよくてリピートしたいと思う決め手にもなるくらいです。 野外は色んなとこにタオルが置いてあって足湯やプールもわざわざお部屋にタオル取りに行かなくてもすぐ楽しめたりと配慮がよかったです。また家族と行きたいです。

Nice and comfortable resort; beautiful beach; first time experience hot sand bath in the hotel. Really enjoy. We are very lucky to have a passionate Taiwan trainee at the reception to help us going around the resort as we don't speak any Japanese. The breakfast buffet is delicious with many choice. Definitely would like to visit again and spend more days there next trip
