"Staffs are friendly and very helpful. But they don’t smile. Room was not too clean,shower was awful and room is too dark. When you turn on toilet’s light room’s lights turn on too. It was very difficult. refrigerator was broken.Breakfast was normal. Location was perfect for furniture shopping. Maybe I will come again."

"Travelling with 2 boys (14 & 18), we booked 2 separate rooms. The hotel's front desk and concierge staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. The location is excellent - KFC, McDonald, 7-Eleven, XinTianDi and the Ancestral Temple are all just a short walk from the hotel's back entrance. There is also a shopping mall (Nova) with lots of cuisine, located about a 10mins walk away. From our room (10th floor), we can see th side of the Ancestral Temple."

"I liked it, BUT... First the good: They brought me a heater when the robe wasn't enough. All of the staff is so very kind and attentive. All speak excellent or job appropriate English. It is a great place for these two reasons. But there is more good news. They're connected by a hallway to Luckin and 7/11 which make a nice comfort with inclement weather or when yr in a rush. The pillow menu lavendar pillow has no smell but the herbal Chinese Chrysanthemum is perfect olfactory and texture. There are extra blankets and pillows. Why it was my first and last: Wait til yr downstairs to call your car service. Floors 3-35 are for apartment residents, except for 7 which is the gym, spa, cafes. Ride to 36, change elevators to go to floors 36-50 hotel rooms. It's not that clean. Everything is kinda dusty. Everywhere, random hair which was gross to me: hand soap pump, the tub, breakfast ewww. The wood panel walls have never met Murphys Oil Soap and they look like the years they've been there. Also if yr allergic, be forewarned the French toast has peanut butter in it. I wanted to go to the sauna and steam room but the things I saw in the room made me think I shouldn't. They can and should do better. The people who work there are lovely and it is a decent building but I wouldn't stay again because I need more cleanliness."

"The hotel is conveniently located about 400 meters from Zumiao Metro Station. The receptionist was smart, efficient, and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable—I could walk barefoot and my feet stayed clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, almost cocoon-like, providing great support and relaxation. When I requested a shaving razor, it was delivered to my room within five minutes, which was impressive. There is a self-service laundry area on the fourth floor with both washing and drying machines, and the gym is located on the same floor. The gym is small, with three machines and a few dumbbells, which I found slightly amusing. The only drawbacks were that the towels felt a bit old, and the walk to the metro station may feel slightly long for some guests."

"The hotel location is very good very near to several large complex of building materials and to a very large international shopping mall AEON where plenty of food outlets supermarket and shops. The breakfast buffet is very good, abundance of variety of food, the room is big and clean, I requested tthe room that has the lavatory wash counter not together with the toilet so as a couple we can simultaneously use the toilet and lavatory not waiting for one another to take turns. Also I requested for a late checkout around 2pm but the reception staff was so kind he extended it to 3pm. Their staff very helpful as to help with my delivery and bring them up by themselves even late at night, they also has a weighing scale so you can weigh your luggages and bags. The lobby and waiting area is big so you can sit down while waiting for Didi to come and pick up. Overall the hotel is worth the amount you paid, will be coming back, thanks."

Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around.
