"We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms."

"We, a group of 15 people, stayed here for a night upon landing in Changle airport late in the evening. We had arranged for an airport pick up a day earlier via Wechat. And continue to communicate via Wechat upon landing. The instructions were very clear. We were picked up promptly. Upon arriving at the hotel, all our room keys were ready for collection. We were able to retire to our rooms quickly. Impressively efficient. Thanks to the three receptionists on duty for the impressive service. I liked the layout of the room. It was equipped with a smart voice activation system to control the curtains, air-conditioning, lighting, TV etc. The room was spotless. Looked brand new. No cigarette smell. The bed was super comfortable. I fell asleep immediately. The breakfast variety was sufficient and tasty. Thank you Yue Yue and her colleagues (housekeeping, breakfast lady and receptionists) for making our stay so very comfortable. Highly recommended."

"The Vibe : from the second we arrived, we were blown away by the archutecture and interior design. Its visual masterpiece. The Services : a huge thank you to front desk; housekeeping and restaurant teams. They were so patient and helpful with my elderly parent and my toddler. Even with a language barrier, their kindness translated perfectly. The location : ideally suitated in thr old town. It made exploring so easy with a young child and seniors. Value : for the price range, the quality of service and the beauty of the property are unbeatable."

"First off, it is very very hard to drag a luggage through the entire ancient district into this hotel. The streets are paved with ancient cobblestone and engraved stones. It is impossible to drag luggage across it, so I had to carry 12 kg by hand. I was sweating under the afternoon summer sun. Thankfully, the reception ladies were very kind and I got cold tea immediately upon arrival. Upon walking through the door, the water feature garden was quite breathtaking. I honestly had not expected to see such a design in Fuzhou. There are seats readily available, so you can also relax with friends in the courtyard or reception hall. Despite the lack of noise proofing (due to ancient architecture preservation), the room was also amazing with some of the best amenities I’ve seen to far. The hotel also provides laundry service for free, which is a huge benefit in the sweltering Fuzhou summer. In the main reception hall, you get fresh tea served as well as small talk if you wish. The sunrise and morning streets outside were gorgeous, so I wish I had more time exploring the district. There is honestly a lot to do in Fuzhou, so long as you are willing to avoid tourist traps. Overall, worth staying here, but hauling 20kg luggage back to the subway again under the afternoon sun was crazy."

"As frequent leisure travellers from Australia, this was our second stay at this hotel during this trip, and we remain exceptionally pleased with our overall experience. Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to a vast selection of excellent dining, from local noodle shops to hot pot and barbecue. A metro station providing affordable access to the city centre and beyond is conveniently located just 800 meters away (and is free for those over 65 regardless of nationality). For guests with mobility concerns, we highly recommend DiDi (online taxi service), which we found to be an equally affordable and highly convenient alternative for city travel. Staff Service: The hotel staff consistently demonstrated outstanding hospitality. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and proactively providing airport transfer information before our arrival. This high level of service extended to the pleasant breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, who offered warm and welcoming greetings each morning. Laundry & Amenities: The availability of complimentary and assisted laundry service was a major advantage. This amenity proved highly convenient and essential during our 16-day trip covering Fuzhou and the surrounding area of Pingtan. Room Quality & Layout: We were very satisfied with the room's upkeep. It was meticulously cleaned, and the bed sheets, towels, and linens (including pillows) were all immaculately maintained—a crucial factor in our selection criteria. Furthermore, the room's layout was highly practical and luggage-friendly, featuring a logical and efficient arrangement of amenities. In conclusion, we are highly satisfied with our selection and would unreservedly return to this hotel on any future visit to the city."

"Enjoyed my stay in this charming Fuzhou ME Hotel and will definitely choose it again when in Fuzhou. Hotel was opened in early 2025 & the room layout was like a home. Room - There was a walkin closet and a very large bathroom👍🏻. Our 2 single beds can accommodate 4 persons(it can be a slight squeeze). It can accommodate two luggages comfortably. Amenities - innovative with cute descriptions. Their toothbrush is one of the better quality hotel toothbrushes. Bar - enjoyed the ambiance and good music, although drinks menu didn’t have wine by the glass but by the bottle. Location - a pretty central next to Shibu underground train stn exit D and bus stops close by. Good mom & pop 小吃 outside the hotel for breakfast. Luckin coffee & a bakery is within the block or two. There’s also a Walmart nearby for overseas visitors to do your bulk grocery shopping. Staff - very courteous and helpful, although some spoke very little English. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and a thumbs up. 👍🏻"

"Booked an 5 day stay for an Business Trip. Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go. Overall hotel is very clean. Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms! Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call. The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had."

"Rain greeted guests with a smile at the front desk, and it was very convenient to contact the airport pick-up phone in advance. The room has also been upgraded, making it comfortable and providing a great experience!"

"Efficient check-in at Lobby receptions. Our room 2201 was on the same floor as the executive lounge. Comfortable room with separate toilet, shower room and a separate walk-in wardrobe/security box/exercise room. Good view of the surrounding area and Fuzhou city from our room and exercise lounge. Complimentary white fungus red date soup every evening delivered to our room. Nice The executive lounge serves happy hours from 5.3pm to 7.30 pm.There were some hot food, fruits (no refill), desserts and drinks including 3 types of beer and 1 Chilean white and red each.. However, it lacks the atmosphere and no background music. No customer service interaction from the lounge hostess. It's more like a canteen feel. Quite stingy with the provisions of new white wine when finished. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of tasty food, beverages (several tea bags option) efficient & friendly customer service and a spread out seating arrangement. Gym is relatively small for a 5-star hotel. Limited range of exercise equipment. Enough for a basic workout but lacking the fitness centre environment when compared to other 5 star hotels. Convenient location with a shopping mall opposite hotel connected by a walking bridge, accessed externally. Metro station is 5 min walk passed a historical family estate home. 4 stops to SanFang SiXiang tourist site at Donjuekou station."
