"The hotel was very clean and the staffs were very friendly. Breakfast was good but could have more variety or change breakfast sets for people who stayed longer. Overall, a very good hotel with good location and walking distance to good food and bakeries."

"Very good location as it’s very near to Yilan train station and few steps to the night market. There is a McDonald right beside the hotel. Room is clean and spacious. Just that the bed it’s a bit hard for our liking. Breakfast is ok, mainly Chinese breakfast. Overall stay it’s good, recommend to travellers that is going to Yilan."

"It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea."

"We like the private onsen in the room. We could do cold or hot plunge according to our liking. The hotel looks great from the exterior, but my room does look a little dated. Love the option of getting extra pillow like latex or memory foam one without extra charge."

"We stayed in the family room with a separate living room, and it was very spacious, clean, and well maintained. The room comes with an onsen tub, as well as a drinkable water tap that even provides hot water, which was very convenient. Breakfast had a good variety and was enjoyable. The hotel is also in a great location, with many shops just steps away. This was the best hotel stay of our trip, and we were very happy with our experience."

"I loved this hotel. It is very clean and hot spring fills up very quickly. There is a lot of variety to select from at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is there is only one very small elevator for the whole building. It will only hold 4-5 adults max. During busy times, you will need to wait for a few rounds to get on."

"The location and the quality of hot spring are very good but the room was not very clean, especially toilet. I requested front desk to clean it again and they did it soon after and gave me a voucher of Touhwa shop for apologies; however, after all the toilet was still not very clean and stinky a bit. BF was also quite local and changed every other day it was not a proper hotel BF but cooked by local people authentically. I liked it, but again, the hygiene in the canting was poor. No one wiped the tables after the first guest left, and next people seated. consequently, the pros crushed cons so it became even to say good or bad to stay."

"In my estimation this is the best hotel in Jiaoxi, and perhaps in yilan (if we are considering facilities). First, it is just a few minutes walk from Jiaoxi train station, as well as some of the public hot springs around Jiaoxi, so very convenient. There are also a few restaurants nearby at various price ranges. Second, the room is pretty nice, they have a personal hot spring that you can relax in while partially being outdoors. Third, the hotel includes not just the facilites at Wellspring but also at nearby Just Sleep, which includes an indoor onsen, if that is more your style. Just Sleep also has a gym (Wellspring does not). They also offer some drinks and snacks at both hotels. During ”happy Hour” at Wellspring, they offer wine and some more variety of snacks, which I appreciated. But the main ”perk” of the Wellspring is the rooftop pool. There are actually two pools, so they offer a nearly 360 degree view of the surroundings, and on a clear day you can even see Guishan Island in the distance. Though the view isn't as good as, say, the view of the Taipei 101, it's still quite nice. And it's not like there are a lot of rooftop pools in other parts of Taiwan. And there is both a cold pool and a hot pool (hot spring). Finally, I think the buffet breakfast is pretty good quality, one of the better ones I have had in Taiwan for sure. They have a variety of hot food and cooked food. Overall though its a tad expensive, for a five star in Taiwan its probably cheap."

"This seems to be a fairly new hot spring hotel. The overall vibe is simple and stylish, and the staff are very Taiwanese-style warm and attentive, which makes traveling back home feel really relaxing. The only downside is that the room is quite small, but land prices in this hot spring town are probably high, so it’s understandable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I’d definitely stay here again next time."

"My husband and I stayed at this resort for one night and we greatly appreciated Ishi Chen, Nancy Wu and Peggy Wu’s help. We are an old couple with medical issues and the room we received upon check-in was starting to cause my allergies to flare up. Upon speaking to Nancy and Peggy, they listened to my concerns and reported to Ishi, who helped us change our room. As my allergies can cause severe issues to my body, we were afraid that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the rest of our trip in Taiwan. But with the help of them, I didn’t experience an allergic reaction and was able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Ishi, Nancy and Peggy were extremely professional, responsible and kind, so that we could create such precious memories on our trip. Thank you so much."
