"Location is near to Luodong night market. Room is clean and kids love it as there is slide in the room. Hence the kids are playing non stop. Afew breakfast shop around the place within 3 mins walk. Only the flooring is bad, there are many cracks on the vinyl floor and you can feel it sinking down when stepping on it."

"Been here a few times . It’s always peaceful and the hot spring does have a hot sulphur smell unlike the other hot springs in Jiaoxi. Normally when we check in before we get offered lots of help and because we’re here with a baby they would ask if we need bathing stuff for babies as well as a bed mini protection gate/ wall which prevents the little one from falling off the bed. However , this time round we had to ask for these stuff ourselves for the first time! Also, we normally ask for an hour late check out because our toddler usually naps during that time where we would offer to pay for the over time . 3 times they had given us a free extra hour, but this time the woman refused and said I had to pay an extra half day board for an extra hour which is ridiculous. She said it was full, however when I checked availability online they had plenty of room so she was obviously lying. Shame , I used to like this place , now I would reconsider coming here again as the level of service has dropped and we were becoming regulars at one stage !"

"The hotel was generally accessible from the jiaoxi train station (about 4-5 mins walk) It’s also very close to the market where you can get food and drinks easily. In terms of amenities, theres a rooftop (outdoor) spa, indoor spa, swimming pool and gym."

"Hotel Review: Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel (Family Stay) Our family recently stayed at Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. The combination of modern comfort, private hot springs, and a great location made it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Location & Convenience The hotel is centrally located in Jiaoxi, just a short walk from Jiaoxi Train Station and close to local restaurants, night markets, and family-friendly attractions. The convenience of having everything within reach made our trip much easier, especially with kids in tow. Family-Friendly Rooms & Amenities We booked a family room, which was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the private in-room hot spring tub, which allowed us to enjoy the hot springs as a family in a comfortable and private setting. The kids absolutely loved it! The beds were comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities, including slippers and yukatas, making our stay even more enjoyable. Hot Spring Facilities Apart from the in-room hot spring, the hotel’s rooftop open-air hot spring was a fantastic experience. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking, and the warm mineral water was incredibly soothing after a day of exploring. It’s a must-visit, especially in the evening. Service & Hospitality The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating to families. They provided excellent service, from check-in to check-out, and were always happy to offer recommendations for nearby attractions and food options. Breakfast & Dining The breakfast buffet had a good mix of ********* and Western options, catering to both adults and kids. While the selection was decent, we would have liked to see a bit more variety for children. That said, everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall Experience Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel is a great choice for families looking to experience Jiaoxi’s hot springs in a comfortable and convenient setting. The private hot spring tubs, spacious rooms, and friendly service made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return for another family getaway! "It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea."

"Booked 2 rooms for family trip down to Luodong, Yilan. Breakfast provided- mainly ********* food. Kids friendly from entrance to room and amenities. Price wise slightly on the up side but location is very convenient - 5 min from the train station! Lack of an in house washer and dryer but a coin based laundry place is 5 min away near the train station."

"This is our 2nd time staying in this hotel. Staff were approachable, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, cosy, and spacious. Daily top-up of minibar in your rooms. Breakfast was great with set meals for selection on top of the buffet spread. Great location. It's just a stone throw from Jiaoxi train station. Walk down the street for many good foods. Definitely will return again."

"We thought this hotel has a spa. It does not. You need to walk to the other Gamalan hotel to use their rooftop spa- open only 5-9 pm with only Very hot water- over 44 c - with no signs indicating the temperature level. There is also a third Gamalan in town that we did not have access to- next to the Starbucks. Maybe that one has a spa? The staff was friendly and helpful/ especially the breakfast staff. There is really only Asian breakfast- not Western- but ample with good variety. Our room was nice sized with big windows and a large spa pool in the bathroom. No jets- just for soaking. We ended up going to other hotels for their spas - and founds some nice ones. Just not at our hotel."

"A couple stayed for 3 nights at a renovated double room (806). Hot spring available in the room but the shower drainage is bad. Other features are fine (nice auto toilet bowl) with good wifi bandwidth. Cleanliness is low average, with mild dew at bathroom. Free breakfast catered to local and mass type. Limited Western selection, no fried eggs, bacons and pastries. Extremely friendly staff and good location. (Bus stop right in front for access to train and bus transfer station.)"

"Was assigned to the older building. Amenities was so-so. Service attitude wasn't very good. The tub in the room can fit 2 adults comfortably. 3 if you don't mind squeezing."
