"We like the private onsen in the room. We could do cold or hot plunge according to our liking. The hotel looks great from the exterior, but my room does look a little dated. Love the option of getting extra pillow like latex or memory foam one without extra charge."

"Location is not as accessible therefore travelling via private hire/taxi is highly recommended. However the resort facilities and the ranch next to the resort makes it a good 2D1N trip. One area for the resort to work on is the tiles of the bathroom. It appears to be rather slippery which can be dangerous for young children and seniors."

Just something to think about before booking: there’s 2 different buildings - 1 main building with most of the facilities (playground, breakfast, outdoor swimming pool, etc) and one building across the street called Mu Jiaoxi Reserve which has the onsen. We booked ourselves into the Reserve without knowing which worked just fine for us but others might find it not that convenient."

"We are driving a car in Yilan and there are few parking lots available on site. The room is clean and spacious. It also come with daily breakfast. There is a big park opposite the road and my toddler enjoyed the playground so much. Overall, a very good stay."

"It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea."
