"Stayed here whilst attending a gig at the first direct arena. Hotel met our needs. Bedroom and bathroom were good sizes. Breakfast was plentiful. A shout out to Pavan on Reception who was particularly helpful. He showed great customer service."

"Customer services was up to par, and the location of the hotel was honestly pretty wonderful-but the lack of amenities made the hotel nights kind of frustrating. This leads to the most prominent issue- the lack of a fridge; which in my opinion should be a common staple across all hotels. So although in I would still recommend this hotel to other tourists a fridge across all rooms is extremely recommended so guests could store a diverse choice of food and drinks that they desire."

"Staff were super welcoming and helpful. The inclusive evening package was definitely worth the upgrade, felt like an airport loung. Breakfast was lovely and great choices. Beds were nice and comfy and rooms were clean. Location for accessibility was great just not in the most desirable area , overall a brilliant stay"

"Nice location close to city center. Unfortunately we weren’t able to heat up/microwave our daughter’s food who have food allergies unlike when we stayed in Leonardo Hotel Birmingham where they accommodated our request. We had a nice stay though, enjoyed roaming around Leeds and the hotel is close to the train station as well so it was very convenient."

"From the moment I arrived until the second I left I felt truly taken care of. The staff were incredibly friendly the room was spotless The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back. Highly highly recommend. "Park plaza is an exceptional service provider, excellent amenities, cleanliness is top-notch, its sound proofed, no noise, its a relaxing ambient, the chef and menu is delicious, ordered room service and it was very palatable and delicious!! Location is prime to the center and my event. Staff were amazing. Their contact system is top notch too. Loved it and had a beautiful one night. Hope to return again."

"Generous sized family room. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable and we weren’t disturbed by any outside noise. Managed to get over 8 hrs sleep which is great. Very convenient location with less than a 5 min walk to the train station. Would definitely stay here again."

Stayed in twin room on second floor. Check in was easy, staff really friendly and service excellent. Room was lovely. Comfortable and quiet. Good facilities and shower was fantastic. No hot buffet breakfast, but you ordered from a menu. Portions small but very tasty. There was a cold continental style buffet. The young lady who served us both mornings was delightful. Nothing too much trouble. Wish I had taken her name to name drop her specifically on this review! Location was excellent. Around 5 mins walk from the station and 2 mins walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars etc. When checking out at 11, the hotel allowed us to keep our bags there until 6pm as our train wasn't until early evening. Saved us a bad back carrying them around! All in all, excellent stay and would be my first choice hotel if / when we return to Leeds.

We’re a couple who decided to visit Leeds and booked this hotel last minute. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Customer service was top-notch from start to finish — staff were genuinely helpful and accommodating with every request. The room and all common areas were spotless, which immediately set the right impression. Breakfast exceeded expectations: fresh, well organised, and plenty of choice. The overall environment was great too. The Royal Armouries are right behind the hotel, with lakes surrounding the area, making it a beautiful and relaxing spot. We were lucky to have sunny weather on Saturday, which made it even better. Highly recommended. Solid experience all round.

It was a truly magical stay. The bed, the bathroom, Breakfast and everything was amazing. I was so tempted to stay another night but I couldn’t. The man at the front desk I cannot remember his name was very helpful, the ladies at breakfast were very polite and helpful as well. I will be coming back when I stay in Leeds

Lovely rooms, welcoming and kind staff in general. However there were some minor things that became a little bit of a concern. For example, leaky shower pipe, worn out shower, fridge in room was great but it didn't really make my drinks cold enough, the window was a bit small making the room not lit up enough during the day, even though the tv had WiFi it wasn't a smart tv and I couldn't connect my phone to it. A bit disappointing because it was a large tv lol To make things worse, I was trying to order food at the bar and the person asked me to sit down so that he can take my order from the table. I did that, and he never came back even though he was serving customers seated around me. It was awkward and I was almost amused by it. When I left, he asked me ”no food order?” Lol . Anyway, overall it was moderately pleasant would give it 3 out 5

Great location,very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.

Nic, clean and comfortable hotel. Ideally situated on the M1 but without the traffic noise. Restaurant a bit limited but there’s more eating places in the services. Bar is a bit pricey, but the staff are fantastic and a credit to the company

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel… I was only using this hotel as I was staying over in Leeds due to work commitments and was looking for somewhere to put my head down for a night and this hotel was very good for what I needed and was definately use this hotel again if and when I need to in the future… Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the room had everything in it I needed to…

Obviously quite a grand hotel in its day. Now a hotel/conference centre but still OK. The rooms don’t match up to the rest of the building but clean and comfortable. Main restaurant a bit steep but there’s a nice pub in the grounds
