Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

Very nice location and cosy Homestay, with extremely kind hosts who where very helpful to us. The location is about 10minutes from the beaches and the nearby coffee shop is highly recommended. A very enjoyable place to stay with interesting interior design. If you want to look for something not perfect there is only very minor things: There is not a shelf for the clothes... But I guess this is part of the Maroccan experience...

這次入住🌴潿洲島墨菲棲瀾·MURPHY COASTAL設計師泳池度假酒店（五彩灘店）體驗超棒！👏從碼頭接送服務開始就感受到了滿滿熱情❤️，提前聯繫詢問航班訊息，還貼心建了管家羣📱，羣裏提問秒迴應，超省心！接我們的小哥哥超nice👨💼，船上就打電話確認等候地點，還因換票耐心等待，主動幫忙提行李，好感度爆棚！💪 房間寬敞明亮🏠，洗衣房和晾衣區超實用🧺。下午還有新鮮水果送到房🍉，早餐精緻又豐盛🍜，麪條、粥、三明治套餐任選，不夠還能續 ！😋 最讚的是地理位置📍，離五彩灘超近，早上看日出步行即達🌅，浪漫滿分！總之，這次入住體驗超滿意，強烈推薦給來潿洲島的小夥伴們！👍🌟

Cute little homestay run by very attentive hosts. There’s a small pool and during Chinese holidays it’s best for families with young children. Host speaks some English, is very helpful and friendly and will communicate with you on wechat. Some issues were lack of WiFi, some bed bites although everything looked very clean and the walk to silver beach which although less than 10min, in Aug ’23 wasn’t very pleasant because of construction and large puddles in the alleyways. The breakfast was a nice taste of local specialties but could include some healthier items like vegetables or yoghurt to set you up for the day (chinese breakfasts usually include boiled sweet potatoes, corn and green veg) as it was a lot of rice wraps, dough and jelly cakes. A major plus is the use of the washing machine and dryer which most hotels don't offer.

首先要誇一下老闆老林，給了我和爸爸媽媽特別好的住宿體驗和美好的回憶。在上潿洲島定民宿之前我也是看了一些酒店民宿的點評，發現這家老闆是遼寧人和我們是老鄉，抱着試試看態度，沒想到竟然一見如故，相處一個多星期，爸媽對林老闆評價也讚不絕口。我真沒想到會在潿洲島有這樣舒服的地方和讓我們感受到像回家了一樣温暖美好的感覺。老闆是個大廚，衹要我們有想吃的，他都能不辭辛苦的去買菜去為每一個住客準備晚餐。從遊玩到出行再到東西該不該買，應該花什麼價位，林老闆都會給出特別中肯的建議，而且沒有任何套路！民宿雖然在村子裏，但是一點都不偏僻，去哪裡都很方便。因為我發現即便住在海景房，島上出行也還是要租車方便。前三天林老闆幫忙租了小三輪，後來幾天我和爸媽就分別騎着小電動溜溜噠噠。從潿洲島回瀋陽一個星期了，才有時間來這裏叨叨，想説的話太多，最後簡單一句：林老闆人很實在，特別特別好，相信不期爾遇，一定會給大家最好的潿洲島之旅。讓我們不期爾遇 江湖再見👋 設施：整潔。民宿裏應有盡有，房間裏準備了一次性的毛巾，很貼心，有大投影，有拖鞋，燒水壺，空調，晾衣架，最重要的就是洗澡熱水特別充足。 衞生：乾淨。非常乾淨。老闆是一個特別注重細節的人，我和爸媽住在一樓家庭房，房間內沒有任何灰塵，床品也很清香。每天都會有退房的客人，老闆都是親自換洗房間內的物品，真的是為每一位住客負責！ 環境：非常寧靜的地方。白天在院子裏聽着鳥鳴，夜晚喝着茶聽着音樂看着院子裏的氛圍燈，好一個愜意自在的日子。 服務：服務態度超級好。老闆對每一位住宿客人都非常的熱情和耐心。服務很周到，給客人解決所有的問題和需求。衹要你提出來，林老闆都能幫忙。

走五分鐘就能到海灘很近，有大床房非常合適家庭出遊，主要是老闆娘人很好又熱情，我們有需要她都一一解答，還幫我們加工海鮮和免費用廚房，感謝遇到這麼好的遼寧一家人，下次來北海還選她家。

Excellent service - the hotel staff organised a pickup from the pier for us, provided information about a natural phenomenon that was happening on the island while we were there (blue plankton蓝眼泪 or ”blue tears”). The location is perfect, very close to the beach and away from crowds. There is a lovely man living in front of the hotel and renting scooters. You can rent one from him and explore the island. The only drawback is the walls are very thin and you can hear people outdoors and in the corridor. Also, the smell in the room is a bit musty.

老闆娘服務挺好的！有問題立馬給免費換了更好的房間，就是有時候在前台沒有人，不過總體服務還是很讚的！ 房間整體設施方面很好，整個房間看着挺新的一點不老舊，整體風格很温馨。在這個價位挺讓人驚喜的。唯一的缺點是有些蚊蟲但或許是氣候原因能過理解且老闆也很貼心的配備了驅蚊器。還有一塊浴巾上有一點黃色污漬，希望老闆今後在衞生這方面更加註意。

Amazing Beachfront Stay in Beihai I recently stayed at a beach view hotel in Beihai with a few friends, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities we needed. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the ocean right from our balcony—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The bathtub facing the ocean was an absolute treat, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the incredible sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we found it convenient to prepare our own meals when we felt like staying in. The hotel is located just steps from the beach, so we were able to enjoy the sand and sea without any hassle. The balcony was a great spot to hang out with friends, with comfortable seating and an unbeatable view of the water. Overall, this stay was perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway with friends. Highly recommended if you're looking for a beachside retreat with all the comforts of home!
