We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel, nestled at the foothills of the breathtaking Li Mountain. The spacious room offered a stunning view, along with a shaded balcony, tea-making facilities, and even a telescope. The hosts were exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. They treated us to fresh pomegranates, drove us to a local restaurant for delicious Xian food, and even gave us a lift to the Terracotta Army entrance—all free of charge. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to the day. If you're visiting the Terracotta Army, staying in Lintong at this hotel will enhance your experience with its warm hospitality, great service, and beautiful natural surroundings.

Ding-Ying is an artist and generous host!! She is the friendliest person ever! So warm and caring! She will treat you like you’re her family and an honoured guest. She told us that she believes that all her Guest must’ve been her close friends or relatives in previous lives. Her place is beautifully decorated and renovated. So many Natural objects reflecting her love of nature and her creativity. On the practical side this place is really close to a convenience subway stop it is only five or seven minutes drive to the famous Huaxing Palace, and probably 15-20 minutes to the terracotta Warriors. So it makes an excellent base outside of the main city of Xi’an, to spend a few nights. You will experience beautiful Chinese hospitality. Ding Ling was very generous with her time. She even taught to me how to make dumplings!! it was very fun! I am from New Zealand and have stayed at many bed-and-breakfast and AirBnb’s, and this lovely Homestay rates very highly. Please note the five floors the top floor room has a beautiful rooftop courtyard. It is the best room however it would suit well off backpackers/flashpackers! Ding-Ying is more than happy to help carry the suitcase up several flights of stairs. We stayed in a double room on level two. It was me and my friend. We both highly recommend this place to many travellers!!

Я желаю хозяевам только добра, какие они классные. Мы в восторге, настолько по-домашнему все было, хоть и остановились на ночь. На заметку русским, общаться только через переводчик если не знаете китайский, и в меню нет картинок, просто можете через переводчик им сказать чтобы вы хотели поесть. Готовят все с ножа, вкусно очень и вообще блюда не острые, если вдруг кто боится остроту. Терракотовая армия в двух шагах, поэтому это отличный гостевой дом, чтобы посетить этот музей с утра. Ещё раз благодарю хозяинов, за такой теплый прием. Буду вас рекомендовать)))

This is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

We stayed here for 4 nights, with our 3 year old. The location is great, in the Muslim quarter. There are lots of options for food. There is a delicious BBQ right in front of the hotel which serves skewers at CNY1 each and is delicious! There is a metro station a short 2 minute walk away. We had a room on the terrace. It was a lift. Very well designed and clean. The manager was very helpful too. She messaged us a day before our stay and explained how to get there with very clear and detailed instructions. She was very responsive throughout our stay and was attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend Yu House!

此次入住的民宿真是超出期待！對面就是大明宮國家公園，理位置優越，商業繁華，緊鄰地鐵口，去鐘樓、大唐不夜城景點幾站路，比開車更便捷，附近是萬達廣場熱鬧的夜市街，吃飯購非常方便，小區品質高，大堂奢華大氣，房間寬敞明亮，輕奢風格，設計精美，五房二廳三衞的大平層，非常實用，我們一行10幾人剛好住下！還配置了全自動麻將機，為我們一行人休閑時光增添了很多樂趣，像在家裡一樣温馨舒適，非常愉快的旅行體驗。

We arrived at 6 pm and the room was not ready. They explained they offered late check out and that’s why it wasn’t cleaned yet,. However, they offer us a late check too and took our luggage to the room when it was ready while we had dinner and explored the city. They give you a code to enter the room. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family (2 Adults + 2 Kids). It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!!! The toilets were modern. It had a kitchen that we didn’t use. It also had a washing machine with a place to dry the clothes! This really save us! The location was great, right in the city’s heart. We arrived at Xian north and it has a direct metro line 2 (27 min). You also have the Muslim quarter from 1 metro station stop. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay longer.

Joke Inn's location is phenomenal - right in the heart of Xi'an with the Centre Art & Culture right on the Shuyuanmen Walking Lane behind, Beilin Museum a stone's throw away and the YongNing Entrance to the Xi'an Wall right in front of the museum! Location aside, the different room configurations are really charming - adding to the joy of living amidst Chinese Heritage buildings. The Heating is superb for winter too. Our family of 4 (2 teens) have been enjoying the comfort of our room, spending family time together in the room rather than simply zipping in and out of the typical standard hotels - if getting 2 queen beds is even possible these days. Spending a day in doesn't feel wasted! The service staff here are warm, helpful and more like family friends than service staff. We are returning to Joke Inn the next time we're in Xi'an... And will recommend Joke Inn to families wanting to travel in comfort. Thank you!!
