"This hotel is conveniently located in the main tourist area next to Jiuzhaigou park entrance (about a 15 min walk away). The staff were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a room upgrade. The room itself was clean and large, and had a heated floor and bed frame. This can’t be turned off though, so be aware if you are a hot sleeper and come during winter. We had dinner at the ******* restaurant located on ground floor, and this was a delicious experience. Only issue is main hotel lobby area is a little dirty with rubbish around, so that was a bit disappointing. The hotel has a hot spring area but this is quite small so be aware. No more than a 3-4 of guests can probably use at one time. 4/5 stars."

"This is a new hotel near the big name hotels but at a much better price! Service was also top notch even before we reached the hotel. We added the concierge on WeChat and were able to get tips on how to get to the hotel. Remember to add them on WeChat! Other than that our room has an indoor onsen and heated flooring which made for a very cozy night after a long cold day out at Jiuzhaigou. Another highlight was the food. We were tempted to get the hotpot but the beef set which is cooked by the restaurant was one of the best meals we've had on this Chengdu trip. All in all, a great property to stay for a differentiated experience away from the international names."

"Great location: in the heart of most food options, 15 min walk from JZG Park visitor entrance and 10 min walk from Moon Bay Parking Lot for bus transfers, free laundry. Our Tatami room was small and opened up to the main corridor so despite the courtyard mountain view beyond, we always had curtains closed, which was a pity. We had indicated a preference for an upper floor room with a view, and though the staff clearly replied that the room we booked had not much view or privacy, we wished they could suggest or offer more suitable room options beforehand or at check-in that we could upgrade to, e.g. mountain views from the 4F and 5F courtyard rooms. Similarly, front desk was OK but could have more initiative in giving info about the activities, bus transfer pick-up locations, or hotel amenities. There was also a peculiar smoke smell from our bathroom but it was a minor issue that did not deter our stay. Breakfast was ok, but need more variety/rotation. Overall, we would stay again but will skip BF and book a 4F/5F room with better views and privacy."

"Hotel is classic old. Night time there are blackouts for at least 5 minutes. More than 1 time it happen. Receiptionist cannot speak english. Can use google translate to communicate. But overall is good. In morning got breakfast and have shuttle van can drop at Jiuzhaigou Park entrance for free. Got nearby walking distance halal restaurants. Restaurant next to a pharmacy is delicious. Surrounding area got many shops."

"Convenient for those travelling by bus as next to the bus terminal. Other than that, don't expect much from this hotel. Also, I like to highlight that the hot water shower was bad, sometimes it just turned cold by itself sometimes the water flow became very weak."

"We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at Grand Rezen Jiuzhaigou Resort. The hotel enjoys a very convenient location—just about a 10-minute drive to Jiuzhaigou, with plenty of nearby restaurants and local shops right next door. The shuttle service to the park (RMB 4 per person) was very well arranged and made our daily trips completely hassle-free. Our triple room was spacious, warm, and extremely comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring. The breakfast, featuring a wide variety of local dishes, was both plentiful and satisfying, giving us a great start each morning. A very special mention goes to our butler, Xiaohan, whose care and attentiveness truly exceeded expectations—he was even more thoughtful than my mom! He consistently looked out for us, gently reminding us to be cautious of potential tourist scams in the area. Knowing that nearby massage services might not meet expectations, he thoughtfully arranged an in-room herbal foot soak for all of us, which was such a comforting and unique touch. He also connected with us on WeChat and remained responsive even late at night when we needed additional toiletries. Overall, this is a comfortable resort with genuinely thoughtful and service. "We stayed at the Hilton in Jiuzhaigou for three days with our family, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. At every touchpoint, we felt the warmth and attentiveness of the service team. A special mention goes to the customer service manager, Janice, who was incredibly thoughtful. She surprised our children with adorable teddy bears, which made their day. Knowing that we were visiting Jiuzhaigou, she also prepared disposable bath covers and bath salts for us—such a considerate gesture after a long day of sightseeing. Our children were not very used to the local cuisine, so we ordered pasta from the hotel. It turned out to be delicious, and the portion size was very generous, which we really appreciated. My kids also enjoyed playing at their kids club. Overall, it was a memorable and comfortable stay for our whole family. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit."

"The room was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. They even offered to make an food delivery order on my behalf. The room included all necessary amenities and I enjoyed my stay! On the negative side tbough, the hotel is a little bit hidden, and you need to take an uphill confusing route to get to it (which is very unintuitive for a first time western tourist). The breakfast food does not have much western options either. However, weighing in all pros and cons, the hotel still wins my recommendation. I recommend staying in this hotel, and will do so again in the future myself."

"They gave us the best service! Although they can’t speak English, but everyone was so kind and helpful & they tried their best to accommodate us & make our stay memorable. There’s a shuttle from & to the National Park. The hotel is new & modern, just like the photos. Downloading WeChat is recommended to communicate, then you can use a translator app. Restaurants & shops are within walking distance. Would recommend this place to people visiting Jiu Zhai. "This a snugly, delightful and welcoming home-style hotel. Perfect for winter months, as the room is pleasantly comfortable has floor heating, has a fantastic shower where the water is hot, the beds and bedding are snug, parking is available and the general facilities are great. The rooms are cozy and hygienic, not a spot/ hair found on the white bedding, and bath towels were fresh and clean, with all noted products placed in the room. There was a bath and shower in the room I booked, with a cute little outside area in front of the door. The receptionists are friendly and extremely helpful. They go the extra mile by doing their best to assist with questions and giving assistance as needed. Translation services are used. I arrived at the hotel after 11pm and someone was there to receive me and help me order food. I was helped with advice about traveling, restaurants, bookings and even escorted to a yummy restaurant close by. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the smart toilet, that flushes as soon as you sit down, and doesn't flush down everything. Breakfast is available at this hotel as well as drop off services, if the vehicle is available. There are also many shops and restaurants around, making it a convenient place to stay. There's a free treat to have photos taken in ******* style clothing, though I strongly recommend paying the cost effective fee (150 yuan) if you want better quality clothing to model in (greater variety to choose from), and have a lovely pictures taken. The hotel has stunning backdrops for these. Make up services (with some jewelry) is also available for the photo shoot. It's easily accessible as it’s very close to the hotel. ( 1.5 minute walk), and there’s a WeChat contact number to add, or the friendly hotel receptionists will arrange it for you quickly. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Oh! And the cute little tea set in the room (with bags of tea) was a lovely comfort after a long day of traveling. Fantastic hotel! Thanks ladies."
