We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. It was clean and location was a plus. There are only two lifts serving the whole building, and while we were there only one was working. Hence we had to wait quite a while for the lifts, however this was not the hotels fault. Would definitely recommend this place for a short trip in Guangzhou. Having coffee available at the lobby was a big plus

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are large, very well appointed, have high ceilings and modern technology, and the bed was absolutely fantastic. The hotel fitness center is quite amazing as well, it has everything you need for a solid workout, and it also has a sauna and steam room. Peter and Julia were a great help to me throughout my stay, I'm very grateful they provided me with such a great experience. Highly recommended.

Overall our stay had great views as advertised however lacks the attentiveness and experience deserving of a 5 star hotel Pros: The view and location, the hotel indeed has prime viewing location of guangzhou city's canton tower, we specifically loved the idea of bathing with a view Earlier check in was not problematic and a porter at the entrance help to collect bags immediately to level 28 where the hotel lobby was Complimentary afternoon tea was nice - coffee, mini egg tarts and some small desserts Complimentary night time meal was also nice (but need to go to level 4) - noodles, veges and porridge TV was big and had vip streaming services in both the main TV and the bath TV :) Cons: Cleaning seems surface level, found stained q-tip on the ground missed by cleaning, and upon requesting additional cleaning it took more than 2 hours for cleaning to arrive Water was not hot enough for the bath, ended up boiling water to raise the water temperature There was no delivery robots and I had to go to level 1 to collect takeaways which is not ideal or ask the staff to collect which is not ideal for introverted or foreign people like me Small things like my scale didn't work or Complimentary drink from mini bar only for one drink Service is good but seem understaffed for a 5 star hotel, there was no one to order drinks from at cocktail hour Overall, this short stay lacked the refinement of stays I've come to expect of 5 star hotels, if not for the view the hotel would not be as popular in my opinio

I stayed at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, although the TV size and limited channel selection could be improved. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which I appreciated, but the room was quite close to the tunnel, so some noise could still be heard at night. The staff were detailed, friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. During checkout, the front desk even checked on my staying experience and noted down my feedback in their system for future stays, which I found thoughtful. The location is excellent, directly connected to Taikoo Hui and the MRT station, which made getting around very convenient. One downside was the spa voucher included in my stay package. Due to my tight schedule, I wasn’t able to use it, so I requested to exchange it for breakfast instead, but the hotel was unable to accommodate the request. It would be great if the voucher usage could be more flexible in the future. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and convenience, with just a few points that could be improved.

Our recent family trip to Skov River Resort near Guangzhou was an absolute delight! Just a comfortable 1.5-hour car ride from the airport, this destination offers a truly unique and immersive experience. Our stay was excellent value, including entrance to their massive water theme park and delicious breakfast for two adults and one child, with our toddler enjoying free admission! We loved the resort's authentic localized vibe—it was refreshing not seeing many Western, Singaporean, or Malaysian tourists, offering a genuine cultural immersion. The environment is superb; both the resort pool and water theme park consistently have ample lifeguards on duty, ensuring safety. A subtle mist along the poolside created a wonderfully mystical ambiance. The water theme park is incredible! It features diverse herbal hot springs, perfect for soaking. Kids will love the dedicated area for catching fish and feeding animals. While standard water slides offer thrills, the standout was their unique ”roller coaster” slide spanning several buildings. A huge bonus: the indoor water theme park playground uses warm water, ideal for those who, like me, dislike the cold! The sheer size of the resort provides endless activities. Beyond the water parks, a huge lake offers kayaking, boat rides, and even chopper rides for aerial views. There's also a stunning man-made beach that perfectly simulates a Maldives vibe with fine sand, clear water, and coconut trees. Entertainment is a highlight! Daily performances feature DJs and dancers at the water fountain. The human water jet performance is truly captivating and something we'd never seen before in Singapore! Evenings are spectacular with a combined light and firework show. Choosing a room was fun with so many thematic options, almost all featuring a hot spring tub. We adored our forest theme room with a loft, slide, and a balcony boasting its own hot spring tub. Dining was excellent; we highly recommend the resort's Chinese restaurant over the Western buffet. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious, especially their fried rice! Despite its rural location, nestled among villages, the staff's service was outstanding. When we struggled to find a 6-seater car to the city, they commendably used their contacts to charter two 4-seater cars for us and our luggage. This personalized assistance truly made our departure seamless. Skov River Resort offers an unforgettable blend of adventure, relaxation, and authentic charm. We highly recommend it for a truly remarkable family getaway!

Great stay at W Guangzhou. Although the hotel has been around a long time, the furnishings and look remains contemporary and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is decent, quality needs to be improved. The pool and particularly gym room is dated. Service has been great for a busy hotel. Location very convenient.

Well located in the heart between Marriott Hotel and grand View mall. Reception is at level 1. Have to take a lift to 23 in order to change a uther lift to higher level. Apartment is mixed with some retail services like facial and massage. Deco is simple but served its purpose well. Good for those who prefer a simple stay within the shopping malls
