"If you are driving, you can park your car at the parking area right beside the hotel. At the front desk, exchange your parking ticket for a free pass with you can use to enter and exit the parking area for free-of-charge throughout your stay. The parking will cost 1000yen/night, which you have to pay upfront when you check-in. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable hotel which is near to the Hakodate Bay and the Morning Market. The hotel offers a complimentry onsen for all stayers."

"Otel ilk bakışta biraz uzak görünüyor (istasyondan yaklaşık 10-15 dakika yürüme mesafesinde), ancak serin ve rüzgarlı hava sayesinde kolay bir yürüyüş gibi geldi. Belki yaz ortasında veya karlı kış aylarında daha zor olabilir, ancak konaklamamız boyunca bizim için oldukça rahat ve kısa bir yürüyüştü. Oda geniş ve tertemizdi. "Not sure whether it’s during long holidays, or it’s normal. But I expected much better service for this type of hotel. So I was so disappointed when I didn’t feel like it. First, I carried a lot of stuffs. I asked for concierge, yes there was a luggage cart, but I need to carry all by myself up to my room, using a small and old with impaired wheels cart. Second, full of tourists. Onsen was so full too. So I need to hurry took a bath, a few minute in the onsen, then go back to my room. Not relax at all. Third, such a long queue breakfast. There were 2 types of breakfast for us to choose. Never seen like this before, but we need to get a queue, for 30-60 minutes waiting. If I knew that there was a queue for hotel breakfast, I would definitely went down to get the queue before packing my luggage. Who will know that it would be like this. It’s my really first time to wait for 1 hour to have breakfast. Lastly, I was so tired and want the massage, so I booked one. Not sure whether it’s normal for Japanese style or not, but compared to Thai massage and Korean massage, I shouldn’t have paid for it . Too expensive but not help at all. I came back to my room to acupuncture myself instead. Luckily that I stayed 2 hotels in Hakodate, so I moved to another hotel on the next day and feel much better. Oh, a few things I like about this hotel. 1. The pictures along the way to another wing (during my walk to onsen). There were beautiful 2. A rental car place in front of hotel, during my waiting for breakfast queue, I walked there and found a good price car rental."

"The hotel and service is fine. However, my overall experience is disappointing. First, staff could not communicate in English. Then, in the first room I checked in, I found a chunk of hair on the ceiling in the shower room. So, I go down to the front desk to complain; the staff changes me to the new room. When I came back to the hotel at 20.30. They already ran out of their free drink offer. The staff told me that after 20.00, they offer Y500 off from their drink. Again, I feel disappointed since they should tell me during the check in. Breakfast is ordinary, nothing special"

"La Vista Hakodate Bay exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — within walking distance to major spots like the red brick warehouse and Mt. Hakodate ropeway. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely nostalgic Japanese feel. The rooftop onsen was absolutely amazing, especially with the open-air bath overlooking the night view of Hakodate. The free late-night ramen was a nice surprise! Most of all, I want to thank a female staff member who gave us the best service I’ve experienced in Japan. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. I didn’t catch her name, but she truly made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!"

"The room itself was a little bit small and quite cramped. Just about enough space for one. But if you are plus sized it might seem too small. The toilet was also slightly narrow. Facilities were great, with onsen available. Within touching distance of the local public street car and bus stop. Front desk were really friendly and helpful despite the limited English spoken. They also operate early from 8am till fairly late 10pm. And the nearest konbini was also only about 200m away."

"The hotel is small but you have everything you need. Clean with thoughtful arrangements. Onsen is comparatively big for a hotel with less than 30 rooms. The variety and quality of food for Breakfast is excellent. Can compare with a normal meal buffet. They offer free good quality ice cream and bean to cup coffee which is surprisingly excellent!."

"設施還是挺新的，大正和平成兩種風格的温泉各有特色吧，這次住的是大正風格的房間，希望下次有機會可以住住平成風格的。窗外望出去的海景還算ok，畢竟離海邊還有一小段距離。唯一不滿意的是房間內的空調不能調節，室內不開窗的話非常悶熱🥵，我甚至要脱衣服睡覺，室外再冷也應該把室內温度調節的權利交給客人，每個人對温度的體感並不一樣"

"初めて泊まりました。 チェックインが21時ごろと遅くなってしまったのですが、笑顔で対応いただきました。ただロビーでのアルコール含むドリンクサービスを逃したのが残念でした。 部屋はやはり広く、使い勝手が良かったです。ベッド幅も156cmの私が横に寝ても問題ないくらい大きいです。 朝食については、カラフルなサラダがメインのメニューでした。コーンスープは、一口目すごくコーンの味が濃くて美味しかったのですが、量が多く後半は少し重たく感じました。パンがとても美味しかったです。 観光にももちろんですが、1人でゆったりするにもおすすめなホテルです。"
