"Located just right next to the morning market. And the they have outdoor public hot bath which you could oversee the Hakodate sea view. In general, very good in value of price. Just one thing to note, you will need to park you car two streets away from the hotel."

"The room was very clean and comfortable, big enough to fit 2 large sized luggages and additional baggage. Location is so convenient just opposite the Hakodate train station and bus station making it ideal for sightseeing around Hakodate. There are souvenir shops and a drugstore just beside the hotel. It’s also just one street beside the Hakodate morning where you can hop over for fresh sashimi and uni. The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses is just a walkable distance with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The hotel bar is also nice and cosy with an amazing night view."

"A huge hotel without any personal attention. No hello when you enter the shop of the hotel, this is the first time for my experience in Japan. Cleaning service is not optimal, still some plastics left behind on the desk between the guide. No tea bags in the room when we want to have a cup of tea, go to reception to get the tea bags and the first thing the staff asks is which room number, after that then I get the tea bags, no any apologies for no tea bags available in the room. The hot spring is huge but also a lot of people, very crowded, no space and no time to enjoy the hotspots spring. One very good thing, you can get an icecream after the hot spring."

"I was impressed with everything from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed—it truly felt like staying in a private apartment. It was very comfortable and convenient. My favorite part was definitely the onsen. It was very large and offered several different baths to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. What made it even better was that it was open all night until morning, so I could enjoy it anytime I wanted. It was such a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again💛"

"I had a great stay at JR Inn. The location is very convenient — it’s close to the bus station and the JR station, so getting around is very easy. The room isn’t as tight as typical Japanese hotels; it’s small but well-equipped and comfortable. I also enjoyed the hot spring on the 12th floor — it’s free and the facilities are really good. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay! Good view from the room"

"I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area."

"バルコニー付きの洋室で、奥に海が見え、外の風が気持ち良いお部屋でした。 2食付プランを選びましたが、夕食も朝食も種類も見た目も、質も良くて、全部少しずつ食べたいくらいだったので、また行きたいです。 大浴場は思っていたほど広くはなく、楽しみにしていたスチームサウナは故障していて入れませんでしたが、湯上がりのアイスキャンディーやハスカップ水もおいてあり、美味しくいただきました。 エレベーターは2台しかなく、チェックインやチェックアウト時には、しばらく乗れないことがありましたが エレベーターとフロントやレストラン、浴場への動線が別になっていて、移動はしやすかったです。 夜は卓球（1時間1100円）で楽しめました。"

I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

This place is boozhy, in a good way. Service is impeccable! The dorm is huge, but this increases the risk in sharing with inconsiderate ******. Someone's phone was going off repeatedly early in the morning, and people going in and out constantly at all times. Hotels need to silence the latch that makes so much noise when people are going in and out. Other things to improve on: if you're going to make us remove shoes then have softer, more comfortable carpet. Having to go downstairs to go to the bathroom. Not good. The mattress is questionable. My back was sore when I would wake up in the morning. Outside of these necessary improvements, the place is awesome. Free towels every day! This is unheard of in hostels. Rooftop hangout is impressive. The chairs in the lobby are very comfortable.

Chose this hotel as there is a free sightseeing bus. The check in staff lacks common sense as he gave me a map in Japanese even though there’s an English version as I clearly don’t speak Japanese. Need to register for breakfast and will be assigned table according even though there’s restaurant is half empty. Buffet spread is mediocre.

About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone. Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable. Other than these, overall is satisfied.

Cons: This hotel is consist of south block, north block and main block. They don’t connect each other on the upper floors. My room is at the south block. I have to pass through the smoking area, with poor ventilation that the smoke actually leaks to the aisle. The aisle and lobby at the south block looks old and does not look like an ordinary hotel that should have. I lived on the 13th floor and was surprised this is the only floor that no microwave oven provided. The water-flow is below average. It is one of the weakest among the hotels I visited so far. The pillows are bad, too small and not comfortable for sleeping. Pros: The room is big. Some equipments are high quality. The room inside is overall nice

The view from hotel room and rooftop are nice. But the hotel does need some upgrades. The room and Hot Springs facilities are kind of old. Although overall my two nights stay were comfortable. Room is clean, Breakfast is good. Free reman at night is nice. Convenient location, next to the Bay Area. It’s about 10-15 min walk from Hakodate Train station. Taxi ride is about ¥700.

Authentic Japanese style hotel that own a hot spring underneath the property. The hotel provides public bath, but private baths are also available for reservation. Breakfast comes in a a personal set and is delicious. The room facing the beach front view hearing sound of the ocean is serene and peaceful. Staff are all friendly and professional.

The hotel is really worth the price! Cleanliness: good! Nearly perfect; there are still some hairs inside the toilet, but the rest is really good! Keep it up! Facilities: They have free water to drink near the elevator. I really love that! They also have an express checkout box in front of the hotel to save time! The wifi is good. The design is also minimal and luxurious~~ they also have shoes adjustment stick! the staff: They’re nice and do their jobs perfectly! Location: It’s around a 6-7 min walk from JR Sapporo, and they have a delicious place to hang out next to the hotel! space: my room has a semi-double bed, so it’s slightly bigger than usual. It’s a normal Japan hotel size! If you are tall or have a big body, you might find it’s uncomfortable, but for me it’s fine, and there’s some space to pack my luggage!
