"I am back here again. I have spent over 20 Days in this hotel and the service just keeps getting better. They are clean. Food is awesome. They make sure I am comfortable. They take my mails for me. Even offered free baggage storage when I went to other provinces for my meetings. The view from my room is so awesome. They are giving me a free ride to the Train Station now. Shirley, Sherry and Xiao Lei was there to help me again. I will be back in some few months and I will be staying here. I am going to the Ramada in Guangzhou and I hope the service is as good"

"Waited quite awhile for the free airport shuttle but I guess for safety reasons I'll rather wait than take Didi at night since my flight landed at 2am. Basic amenities all ok, Aircon was cold and strong too. Just saw some dirt here and there but still bearable as this is not your high class hotel. Breakfast has the basics as well only. Bed and pillows are comfortable."

"This was a last-minute trip for one night in Shenzhen. The location is excellent, with the bustling Dongmen Pedestrian Street just 500 meters away, offering plenty of dining and drinking options. The hotel breakfast was quite tasty. Aside from the lack of Chinese dim sum, there were options like fried rice noodles, fried rice, and a few stir-fried dishes. Bread and hot noodle soup were also available. The room was upgraded—thanks for the thoughtful gesture. Hygiene, however, could be improved. The bathroom floor and the desk already had stains before check-in. Both check-in and check-out were very quick."

"Location is excellent just outside is Daxin subway exit A. The room itself was small but clean and had all the amenities you need for a short stay. Free washing machine on level 3 and 5 and wifi was fast although occasionally gets disconnects and you need to log back into it.
All staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Even the cleaning lady aunty Fong on 3rd floor was super helpful. I would come back to this hotel when back in Shenzhen!"

There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means.
Arrival and Reception
First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you.
The Club Skyline View Room
If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty.
The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort.
The Mandarin Club
Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people.
Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

Food is great. Service is amazing. The view is epic.
The room is built and designed well.
Gym room is big.
Especially our highlight is the customer service, my wife and I wanna point out the staff that serving us (入住服務大使) Mandy is very kind and helpful to us. Delight our stay. Also other staffs that served/helped us are very polite and kind. (Front desk: Perry etc.)

LLondiWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. I highly recommend their dinner, it was a very reasonable price for the serving and the food was amazing. The photographer was also very patient with us and took such stunning photos of us. The pool area and bar accommodates both adults and children, a win! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff that attended to us promptly, very friendly staff.
