"Had a wonderful stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Premier. The location is perfect as its just a short walk from Nagoya Station via the underground link, which was a lifesaver with luggage. Our room was on a high floor with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Modern, clean, and highly recommended!"

"An older hotel building that feels like it’s plucked right out of 1995. Service from staff was great. You can tell this place was once top of the line with older wooden furniture and chandeliers. But still a cozy stay. Room feels like it can be a bit dingy and dusty if that bothers you, but we’re okay with that."

"We stayed at Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—directly connected to Nagoya Station, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options all around, making it extremely convenient. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagoya."

"It’s about a 17‑minute walk from the JR station, so it can be a bit tough if you’re carrying large luggage. The hotel has a stylish, modern look, and the breakfast is great. You can choose from four options, and they can adjust ingredients a bit for guests with allergies. There are quite a few visitors from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and most of the staff can speak Chinese. However, I wouldn’t recommend speaking Chinese to them; the service tends to be better when you use English, like the Western guests do."

"I like the location — it’s only 5 minutes to Sakae Station and 10 minutes to the airport limousine bus terminal (Oasis 21). There are lots of restaurants, 24/7 convenience stores, supermarkets, and even tax-free shops where you can find almost everything you need. From NGO Airport, you can take the limousine bus and get off at the Nagoya Tokyu Hotel stop — it’s just a 1-minute walk to the hotel. However, when going back to the airport, you need to take the bus from Oasis 21. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend walking on the street instead of using the subway route. The staff are generally good, but some are not very nice."

"The hotel looks new and clean. The automatic check-in system is convenient. Amenities need to be picked up from the lobby and taken to the room. The room is decent and reasonable for the price. The only downside is that the air conditioner didn’t work, probably because it’s winter, so the room felt a bit warm. The bathroom is clean and has a bathtub. Overall, it’s good value for the price."

Location is about 5-7 mins from Nagoya Station, there are several convenience stores like Lawson & Family Mart around the hotel.  I would stay here again if I visit Nagoya

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in coordinating of luggage transfer to another hotel in another prefecture. Room was very clean and tidy, adequately sized for couples. Having a separate bathroom and toilet was a bonus. They also had their own bathhouse in the hotel. Pleasant experience staying with them in Nagoya.

The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but thoughtfully designed and well laid out, making it comfortable rather than cramped. The bed was comfortable with clean, fresh linens; however, there was only one pillow per person, and it was quite thin. The toilet bowl was also slightly smaller than what some travellers might be used to. The overall design felt modern and calming, and we appreciated the small round table with two stools, which was handy for a quick meal or planning the day. The work area was practical and well organised, with essentials such as a kettle, hairdryer, and a small fridge neatly tucked away. The bathroom, while compact, was spotless and had good water pressure. Overall, Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae offered a clean, efficient, and comfortable stay—an excellent base for exploring Nagoya without unnecessary frills.

However, there are significant areas that need improvement. The room cleanliness was disappointing, with noticeable amounts of hair left on the toilet walls, which suggests inadequate cleaning protocols. Additionally, communication with staff proved to be quite difficult, creating frustration when trying to address concerns or ask for assistance.

Jjhleite2The hotel is located in a really nice place, close to the Nagoya station and bus terminal, and also close to several large shopping malls and areas full of bars and restaurants. Check-in was quite straightforward, with guests being given an access card for their locker and elevator. The hotel's agents have a very decent English for Japanese standards. The two elevators are separated, with one exclusive for male guests to reach their exclusive floors and another one for female guests and their exclusive floors. The access card also locks and unlocks their locker, which is tall but also a bit narrow, but wasn't too much of an issue to store by backpack, bag and shoes. Guests are given sleepwear, slippers and towels, and the shared bathrooms are fully furnished with amenities. Common areas include the lounge in the highest floor and the café in the ground floor, well-decorated and quite coherent with the hotel's famous minimalistic and futuristic design language. The sleeping room has its signature look and offered decent space, even though not the largest capsule of its kind. There is one power outlet, a rotating light switch that allows the user to choose the light intensity, and two small compartments to hold glasses, phones or whatever. The pillow and blanket weren't my favourites but it's up to each person to decide. Like all capsule hotels, ventilation might be a problem so a fan or an AC outlet would be nice to have, but it's not a problem exclusive to 9h. In the end, it wasn't the best bed I've slept but I enjoyed the overall experience. The crew was nice, the hotel was organized and clean, the location was near everything I could need, and the price was also nice. I recommend this location for those who don't want to spend much in lodging and plan to spend most of the day outside and just want a place to rest for the night.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job keeping it tidy every day. Breakfast was satisfying with a good selection, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Great value for money and highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

VVinnie_OngRoom price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.

Location - The hotel is perfectly situated right above a shopping mall and close to train stations. You can access everything you need just by taking the elevator down! - It offers easy travel to nearby attractions such as Gero's oden and Shirakawa-go, making it a great base for exploring the countryside. Amenities - The staff is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to luggage storage before and after your stay. - The views from the hotel are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors. Overall Experience - I loved the convenience of being in the city center and, despite the hustle and bustle below, enjoying a peaceful stay in a beautiful hotel. - I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya! The stunning views, convenient location, and excellent service truly made my stay memorable. Highly recommended!

On site parking is available for guests on a first come first serve basis and once you acquire a parking spot you will be guaranteed for the spot for the remaining duration of your stay. Will definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya next time when visiting Nagoya again
