Hotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights.

Nice rooms and nice staff
Nothing around the hotel as regards shops or restaurants so you need to walk or take tram
The gym is big and clean. But it needs dumbbells under 12kg. You can only use the free weights if you are a body builder and can lift 50kg!!

I just needed to stay overnight for the ease of being close to the train station! But knowing liege I can say that you’d easily get into city center or park de la boverie and obviously being next to the train station is a plus.
It is a very modern hostel and on the very high end when it comes to value/price. Most other places i’ve looked at are heavily overpriced!
Each bed has a set of curtains and connectivity plugs and a lamp. The super plus is the huge locker associated to your bed for which you do not need your own lock put just the keycard.
Everything was clean. I only had one person sharing the room with me but would expect a little bit of a queue for toilet/shower in the morning with 8 people for one

Обычный придорожный отель для автопутешественников. Расположен рядом с дорогой. Простой номер. Но все необходимое есть, душ, ванна, кондиционер,телевизор. Сантехника немного устаревшая, унитаз плохо смывал. Рекомендую на одну ночь, но не за 100 евро! Мы попали в праздники, цена завышена.

Perfekt und zentral am Bahnhof gelegen und super für 4 Personen in einem Zimmer, 20 Minuten in die Altstadt sind dafür nicht zu weit. Gerne kommen wir wieder

Viennoiseries absente, reste un pain à 9h30...confiture (marmelade) de mauvaise qualité
Pas de lard fumé 😕pas de pistolets, pas de baguettes blanches, pas, de sandwichs

Yardımsever resepsiyon personeli ve genel olarak keyifli bir konaklama. İyi duş ve güzel temiz odalar. Uyku koltuğu uyumak için pek iyi değildi ama genel olarak iyiydi. Kahvaltı harikaydı. Ne yazık ki yüzme havuzu oda fiyatına dahil değildi. Açılış saatleri 8-22 sabah açmak için çok geç olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Tren istasyonunun tam karşısında, cadde üzerinde kalıyorsanız istasyonun harika manzarasını gece gündüz izleyebilirsiniz. Odalar sade, güzel ve kullanışlı. Kahvaltı, Avrupa'daki çoğu küçük otelden kesinlikle daha iyi. Personel yardımsever ve güler yüzlü. Blok içinde sosyal etkileşim için uygun, güzel ve korunaklı bir avlu var.

AAnonim KullanıcıThe hotel is clean and location is good. But the insulation of wall is very poor. First night I can’t sleep until 4am in the morning. I constantly heard the toilet flushing, chair is rolling, walking sound and door slamming above our room. We complained that next morning, but the reception said “why don’t you let us know last night ?” I wished I can but there is no telephone line in the room to call reception, and I didn’t want to get up from my bed and go downstairs to report it. Reception didn’t apologise to us. I found it is very rude. I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

After check in they will guide you to the room and do a little introduction of the surrounding areas as well as hotel’s amenities. Room is very specious and cosy. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, which were both great. Food is delicious, has lots of selections of wines, and the service makes you feel like at home. Would definitely want to come back again. Highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.

CCameliaroseJ'ai aimé le thème de l'hôtel basé sur la bande dessinée, le hasard a fait que je tombe sur une chambre Gaston Lagaffe, top, il y avait même des bandes dessinées à lire et qu'on pouvait acheter à la réception, la réceptionniste et la barman travaillant en fin d'après-midi et le soir du 21 juillet étaient très sympathiques et professionnelles....j'ai apprécié ce court séjour

Service was good but luggage is stored in a hallway that anyone can access, which doesn't feel safe. It was put in a closed backroom after I asked, but it would be better if this was standard.
