Was impressed with the look, cleanliness, and staff at Raddison Red. Loved the free WiFi always a bonus. A good menu food wise even though I didn’t partake in any food this time round. My only problem was that my shower tap squirted out from all angles! Shower was still good but may have been better. Funky phones in the room and adequate info throughout

Nice location and the hotel had a spa out the back that cost only £4 for use of Sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi, and 10m Swimming Pool. Towels were only an extra £1 to hire whilst there so a very reasonable £5 for an afternoon of relaxation. The hotel itself was pleasant whilst a little dated but this meant large rooms with plenty of space without bumping in to each other when moving around. The shower was in the bath which was reasonable with warm but NOT hot water. The tap on the sink could only be described as explosive when it was turned on and sprayed forward and onto anyone standing in front of the sink unless you did it very gently and only turned on about a 10th of it's full capacity. 

Amazing stay , always such a positive vibe on arrival and on our extended days . reception has been superb as well as the breakfast stay in the morning . Which reminds me to also comment the mouth watering Full English which hit the spot ! Would recommend for family’s and couples , also travellers as it’s great for quick access to town and having the opportunity to enjoy a nice walk around the countryside

On arriving at the hotel, check in was staright forward and the receptionist was good and helpful. However, we soon discovered that our bathroom floor was covered in dried urine. How on earth did housekeeping not spot that one. Reported it to reception who moved us to another room. Later we went to the restaurant for dinner. The waiter took our food and wine order, and we waited........ and waited. After some time asked if the wine could be brought to our table and the waiter said 'Yes”. And we waited. Eventually a waitress came with our meal, but still no wine, so we asked again. Almost half way through the meal the waitress returned with two glasses, one large, and one medium. We had ordered two large glasses. While all this was going on, a group of about six teenage lads who were also residents came ito the restaurant and sat at a large table with boxes of takeaway pizzas that they had had delivered. It destroyed the ambience of what we had hoped would be a nice dinner. I must add that our food was quite good. After finishing our food we retired to the lounge with our glasses of wine just to get out of the restaurant. It was pleasant sitting in the lounge on a warm August evening with gentle music playing in the background, when suddenly we heard Rudolph the red nose reindeer coming from the speakers! In our bathroom hot water from the taps was very hot. This was not the case with the shower. It took an eternity for the water to get luke warm, and then suddenly it went cold. That morning we went along for breakfast, which was enjoyable and to the expected standard for that class of hotel. The morning staff were good.

Ideal location beside the promenade; facing peaceful green gardens and view of sea - so best of both. Friendly reception, we were given an upgrade on arrival. I was glad to have booked in good time at a very fair rate. A Canadian male on front desk especially welcoming as was a very patient, sunny young woman - both dealing with some pressure in person and on the phone, as hotel rooms were all full. The same cheerful coping/cooperation was evident next morning when breakfast demand was high. The hotel displays an Award received for the high quality of its Breakfasts. Plenty of choice for full English cooked and options for lighter Continental, including fresh fruit salad. Building is old, historic and characterful, clean and well-tended (the flowers in Reception were real) - the very opposite of stark modern blocks. The room was small but adequate for our needs/short stay, with comfortable twin beds, both windows were open to cooling air. Shower very easy to operate; it is within the bath itself so requires some agility to access. Parking is on-street, we were outside front door (card £1.80 per hour, cash in multiples of 90p for 30 mins); it is possible to 'over-pay' overnight, so there is no morning rush to avoid a Fine first thing. We were visiting for a funeral, at which I was to speak, and stayed one night; it was peaceful to rest after travelling and to prepare for the Service. Chatsworth was a good choice for us and we can recommend.

A really lovely hotel and country club which is tucked away in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex. The driveway is a wonderful welcome with all the purple rhododendrons in bloom. The decor of the entire hotel was contemporary mixed with tradition - loved it. We had amazing service which made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a family room within the hotel with an amazing view of the golf course (9th tee) - it was perfect; beautiful interior, comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, great balcony, tea/coffee and biscuits and lovely toiletries. It had a lovely country cosy feel to the room and the entirety of the hotel. The service in the restaurant was brilliant and super friendly and the breakfast was superb - the perfect amount of choices. The view from restaurant was brilliant, the first tee! We used the health club in particular the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The changing rooms and showers were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the family cat 😊. The only slight down side was the swimming pool closed at 5:30pm for children. The golf pros in the golf shop were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised how lovely this hotel was after booking very last minute, it was very reasonable and we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. I had booked a **King room with a bathtub** for one night. When I checked in, it was already very late—around 11 PM. **I had been traveling for over a month, so on my last night, I really needed a room with a bathtub to relax my body.** However, when we arrived, the front desk guy gave us a **disabled-access room**, which, of course, had **no bathtub**. I thought about asking for a change, but I was **extremely tired**, and it was too late. The next morning, I called the front desk to ask what had happened. The staff member said it was because they were **overbooked**. **She didn’t apologize and even seemed to blame me, saying I should have asked when I got the key.** She also claimed no other rooms were available at that moment. I explained that when we took a shower in the disabled-access bathroom, **the water didn’t drain properly**—maybe something was clogged. This made it **dangerous because slipping was a real risk**. After listening, she called back **a minute later**, saying a room was now available and that I could come to the front desk to switch. I felt **very disappointed** with the service and will **never return** Also the kettle was very dirty.

Fresh towels, a gleaming washbasin, and a shower that delivered just the right amount of “wake‑up‑and‑go” pressure. Location‑wise, you’re practically neighbours with the North Terminal. A breezy nine‑minute stroll (or a brisk power‑walk if you’re feeling sporty) gets you right to the gates, leaving plenty of time for a coffee or a last‑minute souvenir hunt. Overall, a hassle‑free night of comfort, cleanliness and convenience – all wrapped up in a friendly, no‑fuss package. Perfect for jet‑setters who want a good night’s sleep without the airport chaos. Would I book again? Absolutely. Pack your bags, bring your sense of humour, and enjoy the sweet spot between “home” and “take‑off”!

Great one night stay, very convenient for flights in the Gatwick South terminal, staff very friendly, small room which we were away of perfect for our needs. Free coffee & easy check in via mobile or reception.
