A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We stayed in a twin connected room, very convenient for family with young adults, enough space for two suitcases, room is clean, excellent location for restaurant and shopping. Onsen in hotel is small but is good for relax after whole day outgoing. Breakfast is good and change menu daily. Car park is ok. All Hotel staff are nice and can communicate in English.

Hotel are elegant and japanese style design. Room are clean and big, beds are comfy, toilet are clean, TV got lots of local channels. Check-in out are quick, we ask for extra pillows, they delivered it fast and also ask for re-heat the food from lawson by microware, they are happy to help. The toilet are quite advance, it is automatic toilet lid. Hotel also provide bathing salt for bathing ^_^, Two thumbs up!!! We take the midnite flight to CTS domestic airport, Hotel are located at international terminal. I am quite surprised that the walkway between domestic and international terminals will be shutdown after midnite. Luckily, I told the airport security we go to hotel, they open the gate and let us thorough. Overall, the hotel are great and everything beyond the standard. Definitely, one of my choice when I back to sapporo.

Pros: best beds! This was the 6th hotel in our month long Japan trip their firm Simmons mattresses are the best. Good public bath on the top floor with an open to sky outdoor tub. Excellent friendly staff. Little things like reprogramming the escalator to go down during check out hours, seats at the elevator lobbies, and code to access to the baths makes the stay nicer. Best prefeb bathrooms and also nicely appointed deco. Room size was bigger than your standard business chain hotel. Great location too to Sapporo Station and Odori Park. Cons: although the breakfast selection was adequate, it badly lacked variety. Everyday was the exact same items/menu. I strongly recommend that they change out 20-30% like other hotels. For this reason alone we can not stay more than 5 days. We moved to another hotel due to this breakfast issue. Overall, we would stay here again but again for not more than 4-5 nights due to the breakfast. Its a real pity because we like everything else about it. Almost a prefect score.

I like the hotel as it is not in the Central Area where it is crowded, so very little tourist groups. Most of the guests in the hotel are local nationals. It is located next to a mall so very convenient for everything. A ton of food within walking distance. Admittedly the hotel is a little dated but it is vey well kept. The service is top notch although they mostly don’t speak English so you’ll have to use google translate to speak to them, which I did not mind. Had a few misunderstandings during the trip which was due to miscommunication. Also please note that the hotel does not provide daily housekeeping, they would change all your towels, give you new amenties and empty all you trash as you leave it outside your room. They come into your room to refresh the room only once every 4 days. Which again I did not mind. I would rate it highly but I can’t give it a 5 having stayed in other better hotels, but this checks off a lot of boxes for me if you are on holiday and want something clean, well maintained, good service and nice.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Miss Hinako Saito, who has been exceptionally helpful and kind throughout our stay. She resolved our issues promptly and with great patience, making us feel very comfortable. However, I encountered a significant issue with the hotel room. I fail to understand why the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is transparent. When one person is sleeping, the light from the bathroom disrupts the entire room, making it uncomfortably bright. This situation forced me to use the flashlight on my phone while using the bathroom, which was inconvenient. As a result, I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 5 stars. The three stars are for Miss Hinako’s excellent service, and the remaining 0.5 star is for the cleanliness of the room.

Otel ilk bakışta biraz uzak görünüyor (istasyondan yaklaşık 10-15 dakika yürüme mesafesinde), ancak serin ve rüzgarlı hava sayesinde kolay bir yürüyüş gibi geldi. Belki yaz ortasında veya karlı kış aylarında daha zor olabilir, ancak konaklamamız boyunca bizim için oldukça rahat ve kısa bir yürüyüştü. Oda geniş ve tertemizdi. Kanepede çarşaf ve yastıklar hazırdı, bu da 3. hatta 4. bir misafirin uyumasını kolaylaştırıyordu (rezervasyon yaparken çocuklar dahil doğru misafir sayısını belirttiğinizden emin olun). Kaplıca mükemmeldi - temiz, geniş ve gerçek kaynak suyu vardı. Genel olarak, burayı küçük bir mutfağı ve düzgün bir onsen'i olan geniş bir oda isteyen ailelere tavsiye ederim. Rezervasyon yaptırırsanız kesinlikle kahvaltı planını seçin.

The hotel location is good. Cons: We stayed in a 3 people room, it was quite crowded, as it was in fact a twin room + an additional bed. We could barely find space to open our suitcases. The hotspring /SPA was so crowded at night that we once had to wait outside the lounge. I don't know if it's because the hotspring/ SPA will close at 10:30 pm; I personally prefer hotels with SPA open overnight. There were many varieties and choices available in the breakfast. However, the hot dishes weren't hot enough, and there won't be any changes in the food varieties. I was also not notified by the hotel of an arrived package I ordered online. I was disappointed.

If you are driving, you can park your car at the parking area right beside the hotel. At the front desk, exchange your parking ticket for a free pass with you can use to enter and exit the parking area for free-of-charge throughout your stay. The parking will cost 1000yen/night, which you have to pay upfront when you check-in. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable hotel which is near to the Hakodate Bay and the Morning Market. The hotel offers a complimentry onsen for all stayers.

Stayed in the twin room with breakfast for two nights. The breakfast was the highlight. Western buffet provided a wide delectable selection of food while the Japanese set breakfast was exquisite.

La Vista Hakodate Bay exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — within walking distance to major spots like the red brick warehouse and Mt. Hakodate ropeway. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely nostalgic Japanese feel. The rooftop onsen was absolutely amazing, especially with the open-air bath overlooking the night view of Hakodate. The free late-night ramen was a nice surprise! Most of all, I want to thank a female staff member who gave us the best service I’ve experienced in Japan. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. I didn’t catch her name, but she truly made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!
