Perfect for those who aim for skiing and snowboarding. The dinner is a buffet with wide range of selections but if you want a King crab to be included, you need to inform the hotel prior your dinner otherwise no King crab at all.
Room is ok for its rate and parking lot is wide.

A Hotel that is recovering from the bad snowy weather. Rooms are big but toilet is tiny. The toilet bidet is bigger than the actual toilet bowl. Also the taps in toilet need upgrading to mixer. Buffet Dinner is good. Sashimi is basic salmon mainly. Buffet should not be a fixed menu everyday! For visitors staying longer, this is uninteresting. When I visited from 7-10 April, the outdoor Onsen was MOST UNFORTUNATELY not working!
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in my life (35+ years' travel life). All was perfect and I will recommend confidently this hotel to those who I know and plan to trip to Akita. Personally I decided to stay the hotels in Japan JR East is running and available in the places I plan to travel. Otsukaresamadesita to all that are working there.

However, service for a part-time staff (a girl) was bad! This is the first time we experienced such bad service in Japan. First, her greeting was mean and rude, with no smile on her face and kind of ignoring the customer. Second, after we got the room key and get ready to take the elevator, we didn't know the way. She just kept ignoring us which a normal staff would show you the way to the elevator right after finished check-in. Lastly, after we entered into the room, we found out that the toilet seat was loosen. So we went down to the lobby to tell her about these. She was so unhelpful that she did not even want to come up to our room to see what happen, but just tild us to use the toilet in the lobby instead!
At the end, luckily there was another senior full time staff just on duty, we told him about this, and he immediately went up to our room to see what happen. Will give this senior staff a 5 star.
So other than that part-time staff (girl), all were pretty good.
Good location and convenient with just 5 mins from JR station. There is convenient store, 7-11, on the first floor. Room is clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Good facilities and free uses of onsen and sauna rooms.
Spacious room and bathroom, but a little old and dusty. Quite a distance from Odate station so will need to catch a bus or prepare for a 20-30 min walk. Helpful staff who guided us where to catch buses.

PPaulGXThis hotel is right next to a underground rock concert shop. It has frequent tenants who played there or attend the concerts there. If you are driving , you won’t be able to get their parking slots as it mostly reserved for the regulars. The nearby parking lots charges 400 Y from 4pm-8am so if you arrive shortly after check in time and decide to head out early the next day, you may use the 2 carparks that is right beside the hotel. If you can’t make it in time, the hotel cheapest parking option is behind Lawson where they have monthly season parking lots. It’s 600 yen per night from 3pm to 10am.
room wise, price to value is below average probably becos of high demand in the vicinity. As for cleanliness, can be better improve. My aircon filter and air filter machine was producing really moldy and smell air , probably from previous guests who sweated in the room. Was a big turn off lucky I came during autumn, can just open the window to get cold air in.

We checked in the hotel at 7pm, they said our room rate was for check-in between 23:30~05:00 and that check-in other than this period will have a surcharge of
Yen $2000. At normal hotel booking, who would alert the check-in time is at midnight??!! OK, we assume we overlook this strange rule, we paid.
However, two days later we stay at the same brand hotel in Aomori, I clearly requested a non-smoking room at booking (as I did same for all hotels at the trip),
but the receptionist insisted that we didn't. They said they don't have a non-smoking room for us unless we pay Yen $2000 for additional charge. We don't
understand the game! Supposing all non-smoking rooms are at the non-smoking floor; if they have one, they should have given us free. If not, how can they
make one with the additional charge ?

MMisafir KullanıcıNormales Hotel mit gutem Frühstück, von einer netten Mitarbeiterin zubereitet. Im Zimmer alles vorhanden, etwas weit vom Bahnhof, aber das weiß man ja vorher.
Leider hatte ich ein Zimmer im 7. Stock und konnte kein anderes bekommen. Die Zimmerfenster öffnen sich zu einer Art Dachgarten der an allen Fenstern vorbei führt und begehbar ist. So kann jeder aus dem Fenster steigen und in das nächste Zimmer einsteigen. Mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist daher unangenehm. Wer darauf nicht verzichten möchte sollte das vorher abklären, ab Stockwerk Nummer 8 sind es für jedes Zimmer einzelne Balkons.
