家族で一泊朝食付きで宿泊させて頂きました。 急遽延泊することになり、気になっていたグランドメルキュールを調べてみたところ、和室のお部屋のみ空室でした。 お部屋は『昔ながらの』タイプでした。(本当はkids向けのアニマルのお部屋が希望だったのですが、夏休みだったのでかなり前に調べた時も満室でした) リニューアルされてる場所はとても綺麗な印象です。 プールや外の遊具、室内遊び場もあり、お部屋に行く前から遊べるので早く着いて、沢山遊ばせてもらいました。(プールのシャワー室&更衣室がとても狭くて古さも感じられました。そこだけ残念です。) ラウンジも夕方とナイト、両方利用させて頂き、娘がとても気に入っていました。 お風呂もとても雰囲気良く、お風呂上がりのゆったりスペースやビネガードリンク、甘酒が美味しかったです。 翌朝の朝食ビュッフェは、チェックイン時の予約の時にするので、早めに予約できたほうが時間選べばます。(1時間制) 眺めのよい13階のレストランなので、とても眺望が良くて素敵でした。大体が小さい子連れ(小学生以下)で、kidsチェアや、ベッドなども充実していました。 予約制とゆう事で、テーブルは埋まっていますが、ごったがいしてお料理が取りづらいことはありませんでした。(9時に予約) 大人も子どもも満足のメニューでした♪ ホテルが充実しているので、ホテル時間を余裕もって到着するのがオススメです☆ りんどう湖ファミリー牧場のすぐそばなので、そちらを利用する方にもオススメです。

We LOVE this hotel so much. The room is spacious and the facilities are great as well! Please book the package with breakfast and dinner. You won’t be disappointed. If you travel by train, the train station is close by. And the hotel view is amazing. We really enjoyed our stays.

Location:- The hotel is walking distance from train station and although bus is irregular, it is manageable. There is a small (super friendly) convenient store & restaurants near the hotel. Hotel Food - expensive but top Japanese quality Hotel Service - Superb.. ***** definitely 5 stars. I misplaced my phone and despite its late (almost 10pm), they helped me to search, even outside of the hotel., and in the end found it blocked by (under) my open suite case (i was packing to check out next day).. very embarrassing for me 😅😅.. so I really grateful for their patience and going out all the way to help me 🙏🙏

The buffet, public bath area, room, staff and etc. are all perfect!!! Especially the game center, swimming pool and the musical performance at the night. You can simply spend a few days in the resort! It is close to the attractions so the place is perfect!

Arriving at the train station, I found out the shuttle bus for the hotel wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes, so we opted to walk there. It takes about half an hour but going uphill in the blazing sun was a bit torturous. The driveway is also very steep, so beware if you have a lot of baggage. Hotel has a wealth of history. It hosted a lot of famous guests in the early 20th century. Modern hotels are sterile in comparison. It's an old building, so is draughty and full of ancient furniture. This may be a turnoff for some but I found it completely charming.

Overall is good in terms of food/facilities/services. Yumoto onsen bus stop is only 3mins walk away from hotel. The tatami room I stayed is spacious..just that it got smell which I believe it is due to lack of ventilation. Feel ok after i spray some air freshener.

Hotel was just 2 mins from shinkyo bridge and 5mins from famous temples and shrine. Free parking was also provided if you drive. Overall great stay!

The location was quite good, although it is a bit far from the main U-Nikko Station. If you are looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay, I highly recommend it. However, keep in mind that the distance may increase your travel time, so you should plan for an extra hour in your itinerary.

The onsen is very nice and relaxing and the food was superb. However, the rooms we stayed at had a stinky fish smell that is hard to stand. This may be due to the age of the hotel since it had quite a history.

お風呂と朝ご飯を目当てに2泊してきました。目的はのんびり休んでくることです。 お風呂は想像より狭くてお湯もぬるくてちょっと残念でした。期待が大きかったからかもしれません。 朝ご飯はこれも期待が大きかったからかもしれませんが、今は1でした。特に白ご飯が上手に炊けてないようで美味しくなかったです。致命傷かもしれません。その隣には醤油のボトルが20種類ぐらいあったりしてこだわりは見えるのですが、キーファクターが抑えられてない感じがしました。 お部屋はダイキンのエアコンがつけられてましたので、自宅と同じような感じでした。掃除も行き届いていて、連泊の場合は簡易メイキングのようですが、きれいに掃除していただきありがとうございました。 周辺には歩くとちょっと遠いですが、たくさん飲食店もあるので、初日は歩いて佐野ラーメンを2日目は向かい側まで10分以上も歩いて大陸食堂へ行き焼肉を食べました。 概ね楽しく過ごせた二日間ののんびりしてくる旅でした。
