HL Melody in the neighboring block is completing reconstruction for its own apartments, that is, it is expanding its offer. It is said that everything will be finished by March 2026. But I repeat, it's everywhere on the island and on Khem in particular. If you think that hotels such as La Grotta, All Sand, Paralia, ANN and others of this class of hotels will be better, then you are mistaken. Construction and reconstruction are going on everywhere. Unlike these hotels, the location of HL is much better, far from the noise of the crowd of vacationers, the noise of passing cars and bikes. Khem Beach is a 10-minute slow walk away. The windows of rooms 101, 201, 301, and so on overlook the rainforest. At night, we turned off the air conditioner and slept with the windows open in complete silence. In the morning, we were only bothered by the roosters of the neighboring village and the forest birds. Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something. HL Melody service: very good. The Ngoan concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect. Rooms: new and clean. Cleaning was carried out every day. Towels are changed every day. The linen is all snow-white and dry. Please note that there is an error in the description of one of the rooms. There is only one kitchen for self-catering and breakfast on the ground floor. In the lobby there is a stove, refrigerator, dishes, professional coffee machine, water, drinks, Two bicycles in free use. Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes. There's an elevator in the hotel, but you can't hear it at all. In general, the sound insulation is good. We recommend this hotel. The price is fair and affordable, and the service corresponds to the hotel class. I repeat that the problems of reconstruction are a problem of Phu Quoc in any new location of tourist clusters - Marina, SunSetTown, Khem, and etc.

The hotel is located in a great area: between Grand World and Vinpearl Wonderworld. The hotel is a bit old, so you can feel some humidity smell in certain areas, like the corridors, but in general, it’s quite clean and nice. The breakfast is great! There are a lot of options to choose from. We couldn’t enjoy the beach since we visited during the monsoon season, but it looked well taken care of. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses from and to the airport and other sightseeing places, such as Grand World

The resort is beautiful and the size is perfect, it is big but you can walk everywhere in 10 minutes which is great. The beach is clean. The food was good, but there were no snack options during the day. The pool bar only opens 11am, and they don't serve any food. You need to go to Shack restaurant, and they only deliver to the pool a few options from the menu in a box. Otherwise, you need to eat at the restaurant. (Some friends were all inclusive, and they won't deliver anything in this case) One day, the pool bar was packed, and there was only one staff member taking orders and preparing the drinks! When I suggested the manager send one more staff member to help, he asked me to be patient or order from the restaurant. Meaning they won't improve the service if there are too many people in the pool. It's probably because of the all-inclusive service, to reduce their consumption. But the people who are not all-inclusive will also be affected. My 3 yrs old son and a 4 yrs old friend cut their feet in the swimming pool. The manager came worried and asked what I needed, but his suggestion was for them not to stay too long in the pool and he said my son is probably a city boy and he is not used to it. The thing is, we go to the pool every week, he knows how to swim and we have been to similar trips to Bali, Phillipines and Thailand and this never happened before! So Im pretty sure the problem is their swimming pool floor, whether the tiles are too rough or there are sharp things on the shallow areas. In fact, I stepped on something sharp one time, luckily I was walking and it didn't cut me. (The picture of my son's feet is 2 days after it happened) So the hotel is beautiful and convenient, clean, the price is good. But I have concerns about the swimming pool, so I would probably not go back because of that. And I would not take the all-inclusive as there are some restrictions.

The hotel is really new and beautiful. Its location is in the sunset town and it is close to the cable car station. There are many good restaurants and spa near the hotel. It is nice that the hotel provided complementary cable car tickets to us. Also, the hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to help us with smile on their face.
