"I had an absolutely delightful stay here. The rooms were spotless, provided in the rooms were coffee machines, bath robes, room slippers, hair dryers. There were basic toiletries and you could ask for vanity kits or shaving kits as well. The in room dining menu is priced very well but it is not all day, so do check with the reception. There is so much to do around the property and there’s ample parking available as well. The indoor pool is heated and can be used till 8PM. Breakfast is from 7-10AM and is a lovely spread."

"Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!"

"Gorgeous hotel with perfect staff. Busy restaurant and bar. The pool changing rooms need an upgrade but otherwise would stay again."

"We booked in and my son and daughter were upgraded as they had just finished their exams. We had the dog and our room was good in the way the door opened into large green area and you could sit outside. It was busy in the eve as there was a prom on and another function and the service was slow in the restaurant. I spoke to the supervisor at reception and explained the issues we had and she could not be more helpful - we were offered drinks and lunch as a sorry which was a great gesture. We would definitely return."

"Fantastic hotel rooms were great lovely size. Couldn't have wished for a better location within walking distance to centre of Stratford upon Avon close to all theatres would definitely stay here again and have recommended to friends and family"

"Great location, and beautiful grounds ~ parking was hard to find.  The room was clean and tidy, with a nice firm bed, the Weather was very warm, and even though there was a fan in the room the heat was stifling and so hot! The so called “air con” was useless!  The indoor swimming pool was a good size, but it was so incredibly hot in the building, it was hard to breathe!! (Open the doors to let some oxygen in!) The evening meal was good, as was the breakfast the following morning.  Quite expensive for a mediocre stay.  Lovely staff throughout."
