"On arrival we were told the Aircon wasn't working in that room although we booked back in May, we could the fan provided. We were in the 3rd top floor, lift wasn't working to bring us down to ground level either. Breakfast was chaotic as hotel full..not enough attention to detail in filling up food for guests. When we went to checkout the lady was quiet abrupt. Have stayed here twice before but can't say was impressed this time with staff attitude on arrival no apologies for Aircon inconvenience not even told about the lift as we were staying on 3rd Floor."

"This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not. I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming. I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again."

"We spent a couple of nights in this lovely hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. The room had everything we needed and a nice view over the grounds The housekeeping staff were exceptional. Would certainly stay again."

"New Year's Eve Party We booked an overnight stay at the #Aviator to celebrate New Year's Eve. We were upgraded to an airside view room with breathtaking views of the runway. The room was airy and big. We requested a fridge in our room and a carafe of water which was supplied to us. The room had a powerful rain shower which was so needed after hours of dancing! The bed was comfy and the TV was super easy to use We did not avail breakfast this time but did go to the excellent sky bar for some yummy cocktails! Room came with iron, hairdryer, safe, USB sockets, tra and coffee facilities (cafetiere coffee) with option to request fresh milk. We will certainly be back!"

"Breakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests. Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer. I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast. Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise! Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village! It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!"

"Coming into the hotel, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and the car park had plenty of parking for free which is a bonus. Hotel was quirky to get to our room via hallways, the room was cosy and very clean, with a lovely big bath. Tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of hot water. Hotel was quiet and bed was very comfy. Had dinner in the restaurant and they had a fantastic deal, two drinks and two meals £30. Went with family and we had a pleasant meal and stay. Thank you guys for a nice stay."

"The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine."

"Hotel was clean, and handy location for the station. The room was quiet and although no A/C, a fan provided was quite adequate even though it was a very hot day. Bathroom a bit tired though."
