"Excellent location, close to the mall and walking distance to the market to exchange currencies. With security, so we felt very safe. Upon arrival, they will take your luggage to deliver in your room after checking in later. Plus, since the room was ready, they allowed us to checkin early at 9:30AM, free of charge! Highly recommended!"

"It is not quite easy to put a fair review for this hotel. At a very first glance, with the ongoing political unrest in Myanmar, the effort to reopen the hotel and rehire all the staff deserve a great compliment. Nonetheless, the shortfall in service and amenities should not be compromised with the situation and some area such as cleanliness should not fall short especially when the hotel priced themselves at the highest in the city. The management should really consider to focus on guests service and sincere hospitality and that they can have customers who are willing to pay at any price rather that worked any way possible to cut the cost and let the staff to deal with insufficient amenities and services."

The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, offering great comfort after a long day. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Christmas buffet dinner, and I can confidently say that Park Royal offers one of the best breakfasts in town—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. An added bonus was the reopening of the club within the same premises from 31st December. As a Park Royal guest, I was offered complimentary entry, which made the experience even more special. With everything nearby, excellent hospitality, and a calm atmosphere, Park Royal truly stands out. I will definitely visit again to relive these wonderful memories."

"It's 100% a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional. The 90 mins body scrub at their spa is one of the most value for money I've experienced and I have paid for a lot of premium spa experiences across Southeast Asia. There's a shower with a aesthetic stool for those who can't stand for long complete with a door. There's also a spacious bath that is separate from the shower and the toilet. Seating after seating after seating. A bench at the foot of our twin bed. Perfect for putting on socks while sitting down. There's 2 dining chairs for a table that comfortably fits two and there's still a chaise beside the window and lastly a backless chair for a side table that doubles as your vanity.They included 2 dining plates and even silverware in the drawers under the minibar. 2 teacups along with 2 glasses. The rooftop pool and the gym has a separate shower stalls and restroom stalls with an electric dryer for your swimsuits. Phenomenal. Staff are always stationed there at all times for any aid you may request of them. There's also a steam room which we used. I cannot gush about them enough. I love"

"I stayed at Melia with my family and from check in to check out we had a fantastic stay. Most of the staff were really obliging and helpful with a special note to Coe and her team in the Market Restaurant who ensured our breakfasts meals were always comfortable and our needs catered for. The hotel is situated near the picturesque Inya Lake and we had a Lake view room which made the morning wake up extra special. Melia is also next door to the Myanmar Plaza mall where there are plenty of shops, including a super market and the top floor has an extensive food court. Though if you wished to stay and eat at the hotel there are a number of restaurants in the hotel serving outstanding dishes. For the amenities there are a number of bars and a lounge on the top floor - though this is only available to those who have a specific room. During our stay we also made use of the swimming pool and the gym. Both very clean and well maintained with the gym having a good variety of equipment and fresh towels and water to hand. Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and should we return to Yangon, Melia is a place we would certainly consider staying at again."

"Fantastic hotel! The staff is very nice, helpful and knowledgable. The room was perfect as well as the facilites (lounge, pool and gym). Breakfast is super good (don't book without it), includint all westerner and a wide range of Asian food all over the continent. The hotel building also has a shopping mall with a big supermarket inside. It is also facing the beautiful Kandawgy Lake. I'll stay here every time I visit Yangon! 😍🇲🇲"

"Would stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. ААлександр TIGER 48Хорошее расположение. Идеальная чистота. Замечательный просторный номер с большим санузлом, в душевой кабине которого стенки не давят (единственно - дверца открывается внутрь. Минус обслуживания номера - отсутствует прайс на бар. По завтракам: Выбор по меню на 5+ (только убрать картинки, они путают. Если бы были ко всем пунктам, то класс, а так не нужны. Когда буфет - скудно, но поесть можно (кстати поэтому 4). С моим плохим английским случайно заказали лишние блюда, но нас за это не ”поругали”, нет так нет. Несколько непонятно различие в приготовлении кофе капучино, один раз делалось в баре, второй - на столе из ковшиков. Бирманский час - класс, но в последний раз не дождался.

The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Christmas buffet dinner, and I can confidently say that Park Royal offers one of the best breakfasts in town—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. An added bonus was the reopening of the club within the same premises from 31st December. As a Park Royal guest, I was offered complimentary entry, which made the experience even more special. With everything nearby, excellent hospitality, and a calm atmosphere, Park Royal truly stands out. I will definitely visit again to relive these wonderful memories.

Most of the staff were really obliging and helpful with a special note to Coe and her team in the Market Restaurant who ensured our breakfasts meals were always comfortable and our needs catered for. The hotel is situated near the picturesque Inya Lake and we had a Lake view room which made the morning wake up extra special. Melia is also next door to the Myanmar Plaza mall where there are plenty of shops, including a super market and the top floor has an extensive food court. Though if you wished to stay and eat at the hotel there are a number of restaurants in the hotel serving outstanding dishes. For the amenities there are a number of bars and a lounge on the top floor - though this is only available to those who have a specific room. During our stay we also made use of the swimming pool and the gym. Both very clean and well maintained with the gym having a good variety of equipment and fresh towels and water to hand. Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and should we return to Yangon, Melia is a place we would certainly consider staying at again.

Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor. And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

IIsfp-Solo TravelerThe staff were very accommodating, from the receptionists to housekeeping💙 I stayed here for only one day as I extended my trip by a day. Don’t expect too much from the amenities, as the hotel is half the price of others with similar facilities—which is why it’s a good option😊 The breakfast buffet had limited options but was still decent —- They have a section where you can ask a staff member to cook an egg/omelet for you, but I didn’t explore the other options (breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is great if you have early morning plans, as it gets really hot once the sun rises during this month)…. The hotel has a gym, sauna, and pool. The room includes a TV, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, and complimentary water and coffee….. The only downside was that hot water is not available 24 hours during my stay…. According to the receptionist, hot water is available only during specific hours to adhere to electricity conservation, if I’m not mistaken.. (if I’m not mistaken, starting from 9 AM, but I’m not sure until when) as they have I only realized this when I was about to shower around 8:30 PM and found that only cold water was available. I called the receptionist, and they sent housekeeping to assist…. I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing only so if you’re concern with this, you can message them first… It’s still a good place to stay, even if it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, as Grab is available at a very reasonable price for getting to the places you want to visit.

KKitt SGIt's 100% a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional. The 90 mins body scrub at their spa is one of the most value for money I've experienced and I have paid for a lot of premium spa experiences across Southeast Asia. There's a shower with a aesthetic stool for those who can't stand for long complete with a door. There's also a spacious bath that is separate from the shower and the toilet. Seating after seating after seating. A bench at the foot of our twin bed. Perfect for putting on socks while sitting down. There's 2 dining chairs for a table that comfortably fits two and there's still a chaise beside the window and lastly a backless chair for a side table that doubles as your vanity.They included 2 dining plates and even silverware in the drawers under the minibar. 2 teacups along with 2 glasses. The rooftop pool and the gym has a separate shower stalls and restroom stalls with an electric dryer for your swimsuits. Phenomenal. Staff are always stationed there at all times for any aid you may request of them. There's also a steam room which we used. I cannot gush about them enough. I love
