Excellent location, close to the mall and walking distance to the market to exchange currencies. With security, so we felt very safe. Upon arrival, they will take your luggage to deliver in your room after checking in later. Plus, since the room was ready, they allowed us to checkin early at 9:30AM, free of charge! Highly recommended!

I stayed in river view room and I enjoyed the view. Breakfast is boring , but not too bad. Staff is very helpful

This is the best atmosphere hotel, best view. The location is good. The safety is good. room is very nice and comfortable one.

It's 100% a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional. The 90 mins body scrub at their spa is one of the most value for money I've experienced and I have paid for a lot of premium spa experiences across Southeast Asia. There's a shower with a aesthetic stool for those who can't stand for long complete with a door. There's also a spacious bath that is separate from the shower and the toilet. Seating after seating after seating. A bench at the foot of our twin bed. Perfect for putting on socks while sitting down. There's 2 dining chairs for a table that comfortably fits two and there's still a chaise beside the window and lastly a backless chair for a side table that doubles as your vanity.They included 2 dining plates and even silverware in the drawers under the minibar. 2 teacups along with 2 glasses. The rooftop pool and the gym has a separate shower stalls and restroom stalls with an electric dryer for your swimsuits. Phenomenal. Staff are always stationed there at all times for any aid you may request of them. There's also a steam room which we used. I cannot gush about them enough. I love

The Strand Yangon ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ ★★★ 残念ながら年月が経ち、1980年代になるころにはホテルはすっかり老朽化してしまった。しかし、その価値を見逃さなかったのが、アマンリゾーツ創業者であるエイドリアン・ゼッカだ。歴史あるこの建築を保護しようと投資を行い、改修工事に着手。1993年に見事再生させた。つまり、2組のホテル界のレジェンドの情熱が注がれたホテルなのだ スタンダードと思いきや55㎡もある！ 実はホテルの全32室はすべてがスイート The Strand Yangon ホテルが建てられた当時のラングーン（現ヤンゴン）といえば、外国人旅行者が来るような街ではなく、一流ホテルは必要ないように思われていた。しかしサーキーズ兄弟はすぐにそのニーズが来ると信じ、ラングーンでのホテル経営に挑戦した。読みが早すぎたのか、1892年に開業したホテルは成功しなかったが、1901年開業の「ザ ストランド ヤンゴン」は最先端のホテルとして軌道に乗りはじめた ペルシャ　イスファハン出身のアルメニア人サーキーズ四兄弟は、シンガポールのラッフルズホテル、マレーシアペナン島のＥ＆Ｏホテル、ミャンマー(ビルマ)ヤンゴンのザ・ストランドホテルの３つのホテルを設立しました。

After nearly a decade away, I finally found myself back at this hotel—and what a welcome return it was. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the moment I reluctantly rolled my suitcase out for the airport, the experience was nearly flawless (with just one teensy quibble—I’ll get to that in a bit). Check-in was smooth as silk, made even sweeter by the offering of fresh watermelon juice. A delightful touch! I did encounter a minor hiccup with my luggage—it took a while to reach my room, and I had to ring the concierge to investigate its whereabouts. But the porter was so genuinely apologetic, I almost wanted to apologize for bothering him. Guilt level: Catholic nun. Now, onto the room. It was wonderfully spacious, and while the decor still whispered “vintage business trip,” it was undeniably comfortable. In a world of modern hotels where rooms are the size of a generous walk-in closet and the lighting feels like a moody art installation, Parkroyal proudly remembers what hotels are supposed to be: roomy and restful. Would I have loved a USB charging port near the bed? Yes. Did I survive without it? Also yes. The one area that could use some serious love was the bathroom—more specifically, the shower bathtub combo. The tub had some visible mould on the floor, the shower head had a bizarre crush on the wall (refusing to face the actual human in the tub), and the toilet flush was positioned so low I wondered if it was designed by a committee of hobbits. Tall guests or elderly folks may need a bit of acrobatics to reach it. That said, the rest of the bathroom was perfectly functional. My room faced the swimming pool, which looked inviting, though I skipped it in favor of the gym—and what a gem it was. Not only did it feature the usual suspects (treadmills, dumbbells, etc.), but it also boasted a yoga area, TRX setup, rowing machine, and even a vertical climber. It felt more like a premium fitness club than a hotel gym. Breakfast deserves a standing ovation. A buffet that goes beyond the usual suspects, offering everything from local delights to Western staples, plus Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Chinese options. I may or may not have returned for seconds. And thirds. In short: would I come back? Absolutely. It’s a comforting mix of old-school hospitality with just enough modern touches. A charming classic that knows what really matters.

宿泊レポート　2024 その6 1.スポーツジムについて 現在、ジム室内の電源は常に切られており、使用時はフロントに依頼すると使用可能です。設備は全て最新かつ新品でまだ、ほとんど使用されていません。私は滞在中、ほぼ毎日客は私ひとりだけで快適に使わせて頂いています。但し、ヤンゴンは停電が多く、ランニングマシンが停電で突然止まるので注意が必要です。

They didn’t update their menu price which is they should definitely do it . Always no toilet paper . Never clear the dirty plate . Let them wash my dirty clothes and the smell so bad . Never dry properly. Never help me with my luggage when I check in . They just looking at me I pull my 2 luggage plus other heavy stuff on my own . Price increase everyday .

Classic colonial-style room with modern renovation, everything is nice at hall and corridor, room bed is soft and comfortable, separate bath and toilet with super cleanliness, kind and attentive clerks. And the slippers in the room are the best quality I have seen in Myanmar. Location is near from Sule pagoda and in the very centre of Yangon downtown. Only regret is outside noise and bad smell on the nearby street, there are so many roadside vendors and loud Indian music going on till evening. I woke up early in the morning by the noise of generator outside and opposite side of the hotel, for which the hotel is not responsible. If sound-proof room is available even with extra cost it would make me want to come back.
