"We had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby - was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a very residential area, so it's pretty quiet at night. Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late). Signora Helena on the breakfast team was truly the sweetest person we met during our entire 2 week trip around the country of Italy. She always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service (remembering that we have yogurt every morning and bringing it to us without us asking by the third day of our stay, checked in about what coffee we wanted, and more!). We really loved her, and it made our mornings brighter to see her! The front desk staff were all excellent as well! Super professional and answered questions about Florence and the hotel with ease."

"A Hidden Gem Near Florence’s Main train station I stayed three consecutive nights at this charming little hotel, just a short walk (5 mins) from the main train station in Florence. Its location made it incredibly easy to take day trips to nearby cities—perfect for exploring Tuscany without the hassle. The staff were consistently friendly, and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. While the room wasn’t very spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable—ideal after long days of sightseeing. There’s also a private spa area that was clean and relaxing, with a surprisingly strong jacuzzi. A nice touch that added to the overall experience."

"We had a great stay at this hotel in Florence. The family suite was spacious with a smart layout that offered privacy and comfort, which made it perfect for our friends’ group. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options each morning. The location is also excellent — close to the train station and just a short walk from Florence city center. There are plenty of mini markets nearby where we could easily grab snacks and water. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"It’s a nice hotel, very accessible & near the Firenze SMN station. The room was ready earlier than check in time. Our room was spacious, clean & beautiful. The only hiccup was checking in. We weren’t given the check in instruction ahead of time & WhatsApp response took a while but after we got the info, everything was good."

"This is a good place to take care of your camera before you stay. You'll have to press the shutters from the sculpture behind the front desk, the small garden in the center of the hotel, to the interior of the restaurant where you can read magazines and newspapers. There is also Sky Juice (Lemon Water), which is provided for free in front of the elevator. It's a little ambiguous whether the small bar is a place to drink coffee or enjoy cocktails, but the atmosphere is still good. The pillow is impressive in the room. Let's not expect much space. We offer free drinks on the first day, but we didn't get free drinks every day just because we stayed for three consecutive days. Sensitive people will feel the floor is uneven. If you drop something on the floor, it will keep rolling in one direction. So the doors don't exactly engage. Windows have to be lucky to open. Unfortunately, I didn't see the garden but only the wall. The bathroom gives the impression of making the most of the space, and the shower and shower booth are factors that negatively affect the hotel. Since the front desk is not looking at the front door, you will have to look around to be welcomed. You can't control the heating at will in the room. If it's cold, you have to call the front desk, and you should be lucky to use hot water early in the morning. The inside is more beautiful than the outside, but not everyone is the best."

"L'albergo è in una posizione eccellente sul lungarno ad un ponte di distanza da Ponte Vecchio, la struttura è distribuita in un palazzo antico ed alcune camere sono piuttosto distanti. Le camere non sono grandi ma sono arredate con stile e confortevoli, la colazione discreta. Purtroppo all'arrivo mi è stata data una camera priva di scuri e tende con una giustificazione bizzarra, mi è stata sostituita senza troppi problemi ma la circostanza non avrebbe dovuto presentarsi"
