"Lovely new hotel, I feel so spoiled by them it’s going to be hard to go back to normal hotels. The room is so so spacious, even without considering the courtyard space. The room was designed with relaxation in mind - bath tub with bath salts, all sorts of tea bags and tea leaves, incense, essential oil. We even got fragrance pouches when we arrived. The hot tub in the courtyard is also really nice to soak in, just a bit cold in winter because you have to walk out from the cozy bedroom into the courtyard. On Christmas Eve they even gave us a cute bamboo muffin cupcake with a snowman topper. Our room came with breakfast, which was a good thing because the hotel is very far from everything else. Breakfast quality is passable, but the restaurant manager on duty on our first two days was much more attentive than the one on our last day, which is ironic as there were more customers on the first two days due to a tour group being there. There are two malls that are about 5-10 mins drive away, but I recommend paradise walk over golden eagle as the former has more shops operating. Apart from the location of the hotel being one downside, another downside was the location of our room as we had to pass through a flight of stairs. So we had to get the staff to help with the luggage since there were too many steps to climb to get to the hotel lobby. Nonetheless it was a very nice hotel! Would recommend for short stays to pamper yourself!"

"This was our second stay at Shushan hot springs. It was great again! The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the pools were fantastic. I have already recommended this place to friends as a great weekend away from Shanghai to relax. The only thing I wish is that the pools were to open earlier so they could be enjoyed both days of the stay."

"Our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!"

"Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to help me book the SPA and photoshoot appointment. Lori 李丢丢, the manager helped me and patiently guided me through the process. She was kind, warm, was always smiling, and most importantly spoke in English effeciently. 👌 When we went for SPA and hot spring the receptionists and massage lady, 姜社红，郭娜, 李青衫 all very kind. They couldn't speak English so we had to rely on the little Chinese we know, their warmth, patience, and more importantly, the translator. 😁 All the staff at the hotel were generally helpful and warm. It's the kind of atmosphere we are looking for. when travelling. Aside from the good amenities, the people are worth coming back for."

"We came here during Qing Ming Festival, so naturally there were many guests, especially families with children. The facilities here are excellent for children, many activities to keep them occupied. I came as a couple, so I would have preferred a quieter and relaxed atmosphere. Despite that, the hotel itself is beautiful, clean and modern. The rooms are large and with a balcony overlooking the inner garden/lake. We came here to enjoy the Hot Spring bath located next to the hotel. The bath was an outdoor style bath and was beautiful. The buffet dinner and breakfast was excellent, very tasty with a good variety of food. Alcohol was also included in the price, so we thought it was quite a good deal. As for the location, it was quite far from Suzhou station. If coming from Shanghai, I would recommend taking the high speed train to Suzhou Nan station instead. There isn’t too much to do around the hotel but you can walk around Tai lake or rent a bike to explore the area. No shops or restaurants nearby."

"酒店環境不錯，背靠大陽山，設施較新，服務有點跟不上，第一天入住水是黃色的，問了才告知是水管破了，有銹水，不問則不會主動提醒住客，服務意識還需加強，早飯也有點混亂，別人吃完後好幾桌遲遲沒有人來收拾桌面，最後自己收拾的，體驗感不好，感覺酒店裡的員工都是臨時湊過來的，沒有經過專業培訓。"
