Very good experience the moment we stepped in, the check-ins staff Xiao Lee (小李） is super helpful and friendly! We didn’t get all the rooms on the same floor but were promised to checked next day and at first I didn’t put too much hope but ended up she called and even help me to move room to same floor with others! Also the hotel is just 20 steps to the station entrance super convenient! The best thing is they even give daily supper and free mini bar drinks! Highly recommended !

There's a small exercise area with a walking pad, steps and dumbbells if you wanna work out There's a porridge supper from 8pm-12am There's a lot of food options nearby Negatives: 1. Not a major problem but there's no drop off/pick up point for cars. Need to watch for traffic when crossing to get to the didi. But I realize it's quite common in China for mid range hotels. 2. Room soundproofing was ok, mostly quiet when we stayed. Day time can hear the car horns, but night time is nice and quiet, great for sleep

I was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. We were so impressed of almost everything about this stay. I will recommend to my friends, and the my relatives to come and pay a visit. This package of a new renovated room plus Club Lounge access both are amazing.  Food is great. Service is amazing. The view is epic.  The room is built and designed well.  Gym room is big.  Especially our highlight is the customer service, my wife and I wanna point out the staff that serving us (入住服務大使) Mandy is very kind and helpful to us. Delight our stay. Also other staffs that served/helped us are very polite and kind. (Front desk: Perry etc.)  We couldn’t ask for more. Coz this is more than our expectation. I will recommend you to choose this.

Amazing place! Quite centrally located and has a lot of facilities and restaurants. About 20 minutes away from the airport and the train station. Reception is great and they help you keep your Taobaoparcels. I like the unique details that go into making each room amazing - for instance, their kettle has specific temperatures you can boil to, their shampoo has one for the day and one for the night (and super nice smelling!), they have conditioner, their hair dryer is very fast etc!!! It shows the effort they have to make sure each guest is happy. The only thing I don’t like is that the lift takes slightly longer as it seems to be shared with some office building

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. I highly recommend their dinner, it was a very reasonable price for the serving and the food was amazing. The photographer was also very patient with us and took such stunning photos of us. The pool area and bar accommodates both adults and children, a win! I would definitely stay here again. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. I had an amazing stay at this hotel during the festive season. The hotel was beautifully decorated with warm and cheerful New Year decorations, creating a cozy and joyful atmosphere everywhere. What made my stay truly perfect was the excellent service from Kiki. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. She greeted me warmly, helped me check in smoothly, and always responded quickly to my needs with a lovely smile. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole environment was pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to Kiki for making my trip so enjoyable and memorable!

We are a group of 7 friends. I made a reservation for all of us together and paid around 8€, which I thought was a very good price. The day we arrived, the owner told us the price was per person and not for the whole booking, which was odd as the reservation already had our 7 names on it, but also reasonable considering the very low price. After our stay I can honestly say that the original price of 8€ for 7 is the maximum I would have paid for this place. The rooms themselves are not too bad and in line with the Chinese standard (quite right, very hard and slim futon mattresses), but also clean sheets and good privacy with curtains. The real issue with this place are the bathrooms. First of all there are only two of them for more than 20 people. Secondly, they are nothing short of disgusting. One of them is a room with a squatting toilet, a sink and a shower that smells like piss worse than a public toilet. The second one has a Western toilet with a broken toilet seat and a shower without a shower head (basically like a garden hose). I normally don't complain about these things as I'm used to traveling on a budget. But as I said, these are things I would have totally accepted if the price I paid was indeed the original one I made a reservation for. Especially because for that price (as a group of 7) you can find cheaper and nicer options in the same area. I would not recommend this place unless you really can't find anything cheaper or better, or if you want to be very close to the civic center. Definitely not a good place to stay more than 1 night.
