"Location is near Beppu station. Car parking was next to it, controlled by lift. Meaning park and the car was lifted in a building. Charged per daily and could retrieve car anytime. 7 private Onsen rooms, need to queue to use during evening. One or 2 was empty during afternoon. Complimentary ramen in soya sauce broth from 10-11pm, if missed it, take the house brand instant noodle cup from reception. Remember to take the complimentary Yakult from 6-10am. Coffee and matcha machine in lobby. Remove shoes at lobby and roll luggages over a wet mat. Bare foot or socks provided throughout hotel, even at restaurant. Didn’t try the breakfast and dinner. Typical Japanese hard mattress and pillows. Good for families or friends up to 4 per room."

"We had a pleasant stay at Amanek Beppu. The lobby is bright and welcoming, giving a great first impression. The hotel provides free bottles of water, which was a nice touch and very convenient during my stay. Our room was comfortable and well-kept, making it easy to relax after a long day. Parking is available nearby for a reasonable fee, so it was convenient even for those traveling by car. Overall, Amanek Beppu offers comfort, convenience, and good value. We would happily stay here again."

"The room is spacious and clean. I love the onsen there. Amenities is available on first floor. They even provide a bag for guests to carry their stuff to the onsen, not a lot of hotel have that. The location is great, walkable to the shopping mall and Lawson is just opposite. The parking is free as well. That’s a huge plus if you are doing road trip."

"Nice sized room, clean shared facilities. Even though it's hostel and seemed fairly full at the time I was there, I haven't really seen anyone on my floor. Nice common area with kitchen on the 10th floor. 10mins walk to the next metro"

"Walking distance within 5 mins to JR or bus station . Very convenient with lot of restaurant nearby . Plan ur trip without hassle for logistic . U wan JR , just 5 min , u wan main bus terminal , just 5 min . Am definitely will stay again if i revisit beppu again . Last a full skincare regime for free at lobby . Least ur hassle to bring all . Remember if u stay here no need to bring ur skin care ya ."

"To begin with, the hotel is good in general. The hotel staff is friendly, the hotel location is good, there are many bus stops nearby, the sea, shopping malls, and the train station are close by. The breakfasts included in our reservation are excellent, quite tasty. The hotel has springs and showers, the towels are changed regularly, and you can rent yucatas for the duration of your stay for free. You can also request room cleaning (once every 3 days). The disadvantages include the fact that the hotel is a bit old. There is some dust in the rooms here and there, and our room had a moldy shower curtain and dusty ventilation grates. We didn't use the hairdryer in our room because it had some weird moldy-dusty stuff in it... The slippers provided in the room were very small and uncomfortable (my foot size is around 30 centimeters). Not really a problem, especially if you have your own ones, but still worth mentioning. Anyway, as I already said, the overall impression of the hotel is good."

"Absolutely amazing. With the perfect view and perfect room and perfectly polite and friendly staff! Was my favourite hotel in my whole trip and absolutely made my day. On the expensive side but it’s definitely worth the experience to try it for one night at least. Huge room with a beautiful tatami flooring and traditional dining table, private bath with a beautiful sea view. Also has a smart tv for you to just chill and enjoy in the room. You can also still use the public onsen and breakfast provided was delicious! Overall 10/10 will recommend it was amazing !"

"I recently stayed at a hotel booked through Trip.com, and while the location, cleanliness, and facilities were quite nice, I had a very disappointing experience with the service provided by the hotel staff. When I booked the hotel, the description on Trip.com (in Korean) clearly indicated that the room would have two beds and two floor beds. However, upon arrival, we found that the room only had two beds and one floor bed. When I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the hotel staff, they informed me that we would need to pay extra for an additional floor bed. They explained that the description in the itinerary merely indicated the maximum capacity of the room and that, since we had booked meals for only three people (breakfast and dinner), we could not receive an extra floor bed at no charge. I opted for the three-person meal plan because one of my family members is a five-year-old child who does not eat much, and I wanted to avoid unnecessary food waste. I understand that interpretations of the itinerary may vary, but the attitude of the hotel staff was unacceptable. During my communication with them, I was put on hold for five minutes, only to be told that there was nothing they could do. After urging them to adhere to the terms of the itinerary, I was placed on hold again for ten minutes. Unfortunately, I had to hang up as it was time for dinner, and the hotel did not follow up with any response after I returned. This experience significantly affected my family's mood, and what was supposed to be a pleasant stay turned into a frustrating ordeal. I hope that Trip.com can address this issue to prevent future guests from having similar experiences."

The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects. **Facilities & Service:** The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor. **Dining:** Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. **Location:** The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air. **Overall:** A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort."
