"Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place."

"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"I arrived in Dalian quite late in the evening and had arranged an airport shuttle through the hotel. However, I wasn’t given clear instructions on where to meet it. I noticed a bus waiting in the airport parking lot, but since the hotel’s shuttle buses lack any identifying markings and no one was holding a sign, I couldn’t tell if it was the one for me. Not speaking Chinese, I felt too hesitant to approach the driver to ask. Looking back, I’m fairly sure it was the shuttle I had booked, but it ended up leaving without me. Luckily, it wasn’t a big issue since the hotel is only about a five-minute walk from the airport. I had booked the shuttle based on a review mentioning that crossing the road in front of the hotel could be dangerous. However, I found there’s actually a crosswalk just a little further down the street, so crossing is manageable with some caution. Other than that, my experience was pleasant overall. The front desk staff spoke English fairly well. The room was large but a bit rough around the edges, with some noticeable stains on the walls. Breakfast was decent, and considering the price and the hotel’s proximity to the airport, it was good value. The hotel also schedules regular shuttle buses back to the airport, but there are plenty of taxis in the area if you need to leave immediately, or you can simply walk."

"📍 Location, location, location This hotel is in a prime spot, about 3 miles from some of Dalian’s top attractions like Xinghai Square, Venice Water City, and Dalian Castle 🏰. Super convenient whether you’re sightseeing or just exploring the city. 😴 Best sleep I’ve had in ages Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I slept so well. I got almost 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep, the room was quiet, perfectly cool, and the blackout curtains made the room completely dark, which I loved. Also, they offer an a la carte menu and even late-night service, which is super handy if you’re up late or get in hungry. 🧖♂️ Highly recommend the sauna + massage combo One of the highlights of my stay: hit the sauna for about 20 minutes, then followed it up with a relaxing massage right there in the hotel. Total game changer 💯 I left feeling completely recharged. 🏊♂️ as for the pool, I tried to go around three times… but it seems that the hotel rent it to swimming classes for kids?? So it was always full of kids which it’s fine but consider it if as myself this amenity was crucial for me to book the hotel 🍳 Breakfast could be better This is where things fell a bit short. The breakfast area is… kind of random? It’s in a hallway on the second floor, and the setup felt temporary. Not much variety, and there are no small tables, just big shared ones for about 10 people. A little awkward if you’re alone or just want a quiet breakfast. (I’ll include a pic) 📦 Heads-up on delivery If you order food delivery, you’ll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself — they don’t bring it up to your room. ✅ Final thoughts Aside from those couple of things and the pool, my experience was honestly fantastic. Great location, super restful sleep. Would stay here again if I’m back in Dalian! 👍"

"I extend my stay there for another day due to the hotel is affordable, comfortable and near Metro. I accidentally left my wallet in the hotel room and tough that no room cleaning will be done. I when out in the morning and back in the night and notice that my room has been clean. I was worried about my cash in the wallet that have around $700 and my cards which I did not place into the safety box when missing . After check not even a single thing or $ missing. Thanks to all the staff which is able to guide and recommend us place to visit. Will back to this hotel when my next visit 🫡"

"This hotel served more than expected . 1.The room is super huge 2. Neat and spotless 3. The breakfast was super delicious and mouth watering. 4.The staffs are super kind and speaks English really well. 5.The lobby is very fantastic. 6.The spa was fantastic and worth to try. 7. "Amazing little spot and great sized apartment. We swapped to the two bedroom one for more room and it was just right. Great service and lovely lady who helped us and kept in contact through WeChat. Views were absolutely amazing. Only thing to note is there is absolutely no cutlery or anything in the apartment at all utensils wise. Wonderful food places right by the hotel and and we found a favorite one with amazing food only 300 metres away. Would definitely stay here again and would love to come back during warmer weather. Highly recommend."

"High CP hotel, king size bed and a japanese style bidet (this is the highlight for me 555) The property is really convenient (not to mention its near the sea front, just a walking distance), it is just across the road to Exit D of the Gangwan Square subway and that same line goes directly to the airport. The staff is so kind and they made sure I am ok and convenient. They communcate everything through wechat and also catered to my request to change the free breakfast from porridge to soy milk. Their manager is also very nice and communicative. They also gave me tips as well on where to go in Dalian and also give morning updates on the weather Will stay again"
