"Amazing little spot and great sized apartment. We swapped to the two bedroom one for more room and it was just right. Great service and lovely lady who helped us and kept in contact through WeChat. Views were absolutely amazing. Only thing to note is there is absolutely no cutlery or anything in the apartment at all utensils wise. Wonderful food places right by the hotel and and we found a favorite one with amazing food only 300 metres away. Would definitely stay here again and would love to come back during warmer weather. Highly recommend."

"Breakfast is nice. Room is clean and big. Bed is comfortable. Only some bathroom tiles seem to be dropping out but doesn't affect me much. Overall stay is good."

"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"I extend my stay there for another day due to the hotel is affordable, comfortable and near Metro. I accidentally left my wallet in the hotel room and tough that no room cleaning will be done. I when out in the morning and back in the night and notice that my room has been clean. I was worried about my cash in the wallet that have around $700 and my cards which I did not place into the safety box when missing . After check not even a single thing or $ missing. Thanks to all the staff which is able to guide and recommend us place to visit. Will back to this hotel when my next visit 🫡"

"I arrived in Dalian quite late in the evening and had arranged an airport shuttle through the hotel. However, I wasn’t given clear instructions on where to meet it. I noticed a bus waiting in the airport parking lot, but since the hotel’s shuttle buses lack any identifying markings and no one was holding a sign, I couldn’t tell if it was the one for me. Not speaking Chinese, I felt too hesitant to approach the driver to ask. Looking back, I’m fairly sure it was the shuttle I had booked, but it ended up leaving without me. Luckily, it wasn’t a big issue since the hotel is only about a five-minute walk from the airport. I had booked the shuttle based on a review mentioning that crossing the road in front of the hotel could be dangerous. However, I found there’s actually a crosswalk just a little further down the street, so crossing is manageable with some caution. Other than that, my experience was pleasant overall. The front desk staff spoke English fairly well. The room was large but a bit rough around the edges, with some noticeable stains on the walls. Breakfast was decent, and considering the price and the hotel’s proximity to the airport, it was good value. The hotel also schedules regular shuttle buses back to the airport, but there are plenty of taxis in the area if you need to leave immediately, or you can simply walk."

"I have used this hotel several times for business and for vacations, the location is great, the facilites too.Good room sizes fast internet, with top grade staff, they make you feel like your at home , buffet breakfast is good for all tastes , Reception staff and all other levels of staff go out of their way to help , Around half the staff speak English, in the basement there is a German style brewhouse with copper vats etc and the beer is really same as Munich, The restaurant in the basement bar has a good range of Bavarian style dishes and the resident live band plays 6 nights per week (Sundays off) Guitarist , Drummer and Singer really entertain well and play from 20:00 until 24:00 with a couple of short breaks, There is also a pool and gym, Spa and Cafe and Chinese restauarant too, Around 200 meters away is a really nice park, take the chairlift to the tower and the toboggan back down its great fun, also stroll around , see and feel the atmosphere of the various groups that use the park for walking, dancing, singing, playing card games, also Kicking large ”shuttle cocks” etc, Nearby (5 minute walk from Hotel is a large shopping complex with many eating places and shops etc, the old tram stop is around 15 minute walk and easy to use, I have used a lot of hotels in China, This one is up there with the best of them,, Its my home from home."

"Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place."

"This was an amazing stay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Thank you to the lovely ladies at the front for helping me. I stayed 1 night and was perfect. The room is spacious, everything was clean and had everything you needed. It was a 3min drive from the airport. They offered to give me a lift in the morning at 5am, which was very nice. Overall I will definitely stay here again when in Dalian."
