"A time honoured hotel got a new “face” by cultural creative designing. The rooms and the parking lot still express their old ages but good maintenance shall be credited. It seems there are many exchanging staff from abroad, which is good for providing international services. The location is perfect, just right nearby the city hall. Even though the restaurants around this area are plenty, the ones inside Howard are good enough and the cafe on 1st floor is suitable for a family with kids."

"When i arrived I was not expecting such a big lobby. Location is great with small restaurants and convenience stores around. Staff is friendly and helpful. I booked my car to airport through them and it was cheaper than taxi (tip: pay in cash to save 10% service fee), and it was a huge van all for myself.
Breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing but still ok for the room price. Only downside is that no amenities available, which is the legal norm in Taiwan. So be aware to bring toothbrush and toothpaste as well as anything else you need. If you don't, no worries, can buy at the 7/11 or the other convenience store down the road.
Overall, quite a pleasant experience and will definitely book there again in my next Hsinchu trip."

"Very close to the train station and bus terminal by foot. The room is small. The shower is not separated from the toilet. The toilet is small, you better to stand to pee if you are male. Breakfast is invented but very simple and almost no protein."

"Eventhough there are some wrong messages between Trip. Com, their agent agoda and the hotel. But the hotel's staff was handling it in patients and good manners.

"Pros: Breakfast is perfect, very good combination of western and *********. Location is perfect if you are visiting Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. Only a couple of bus stops. Very authentic local restaurants around. Employees are willing to help. Free soda in the fridge, decent gym. Good balcony view in certain rooms.
Cons: My room was clean but shower head was loose, although I was able to fix it myself, it made the bathroom a chaos. Shampoo and bodywash are not good considering it's a 4-star. Electronic bidet that cleans you but doesn't dry you out... public baths could be a good place to relax, but it only open 4-10pm, which is not friendly to travellers who only stay for the night."

"Hotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well."

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, which made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The location is also convenient for business but not so for leisure holiday. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, easy stay in Hsinchu.

- location not the best (next to a lake but not near the city centre or other amenities. Only a convenience store at the outside of the hotel)

LLEE CHUN YANGWe were unaware of a policy until we arrive at the motel and it is inconvenient for stay more than a night. This policy was not flagged on the booking platform. Staying for 3 nights mean we are to check in from 6pm and check out next day 12 noon, return 6pm to check in and check out again next noon, total 3 times.
A service fee (for the 6 hours 12noon to 6pm) is charged in order to keep the room thru the day for the 3 night stay avoiding the daily check in and out. This said to applies for 2pax room and is addition to the booking paid on the booking platform.
We picked this motel for convenience of parking and walk up to the room. Everything was good in the room apart the narrow stairway carrying our luggage and the floor better off wearing a slippers. Breakfast is ok with a small spread of buffet and few additional items you can order from the kitchen.

懶懶人愛吃喝房間偏狹長，整體感覺還不錯，乾淨無異味，以這個價格來說，CP值很高。馬桶有點小問題（按下後不會恢復而一直流水，要打開蓋子自己手動按回去）。停車位少，幸好早一點到佔了位置，服務人員很熱心幫忙引路停車，也讓我們提早入房休息。
